When I opened the door, I was handed a hot towel in 2 minutes. When I opened the door, I was handed a hot towel in 2 minutes. I didn't write it twice for any particular reason. Leaving that aside, when it comes to the store name... On Google local guide, it's listed as "Senmatsuya Kanesen Sato." On Retty, it's "Unagi Kushikushi Sakaba Senmatsuya Sato." On the restaurant's Facebook page, it's "Kanesen Sato." And on Facebook, it's "Senmatsuya Sato." What is the official name then? Well, it seems like a common maze to find the official name of a restaurant, but I won't delve too deep into it. It's written as "Sato" in hiragana. They bring each skewer one by one, which is nice. They offer a variety of eel skewers. Liver with sauce has a slightly bitter taste for a more mature flavor. The liver with sauce also has a bit of bitterness, but it's a good flavor. The eel fillet with sauce has a plump and delicious taste. The collar grilled with salt and wasabi is delicious. The grilled eel is crispy and nicely cooked. I really like the eel collar. Occasionally, there are hints of rice or mochi-like nuances from Sato, but there's no direct connection, yet the phrase keeps coming to mind, and the association just won't stop. Going back to the main topic, I tried other parts too, and each one was delicious. The flavor of the eel and the crispy aroma go well together, especially when paired with sake. It really hits the spot. The deliciousness lingers in your chest. This time, I had a private drink with a fellow reviewer, and the place was crowded as usual. The smoke from the grill affects the flavor of the eel a bit, which is a shame. I also tried a few more dishes as sake accompaniments, such as deep-fried whale and wagyu with ponzu sauce. They were all delicious and perfect for sake. The sake selection may run out occasionally, as shown in the picture, but I enjoyed the eel and other dishes with sake. I would definitely come back to Senmatsuya Sato to try different parts of the eel and enjoy sake. This area, including Tanuhachi Garden, has become a place I can easily visit without getting lost. Kiki - this combination seems familiar. Store Information: Senmatsuya Sato 2F, Tanuhachi Garden, 2-8-2 Minami 2-jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido.
