I stayed in Kushiro for work! This time, I found a cheap hotel in front of the station called "Hotel Area One Kushiro" when I was searching on ikkyu.com because the hotels in Kushiro were too expensive. Honestly, I didn't know this hotel, so I won't expect much from it considering the price (lol). The room is like a typical business hotel, a bit old-fashioned. For breakfast, it's usually 800 yen, and there are a decent number of dishes. I don't like this plate design, but I managed to put food in all the "dimples." I tried the salmon fried rice, which was pretty good. I think they use commercial food ingredients, right? Sorry if I'm wrong. I had a petit cake for dessert and enjoyed a foamy coffee. Thank you for the meal. Just wanted to report that I stayed in a cheap hotel!

Today's breakfast was at Hotel Area One in Kushiro. It was a buffet style breakfast where disposable vinyl gloves were provided for picking up the food. I thought I would make a salad, but the salad was already prepared in a small bowl. The Caesar salad dressing was individually packaged. The salad consisted of lettuce, broccoli, tomatoes, and other vegetables. On my main plate, I had stir-fried meat and vegetables, potato salad, grilled fish, tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette), sausage, and hamburger. I also had a raw egg with seaweed, rice, and miso soup. For drinks, I had medicinal water and milk. Everything was delicious until the end. The hotel is conveniently located near the station, and the check-in time was early, so I was able to relax. Now, let's head to Obihiro. Thank you for the meal. Hotel Area One, Kushiro, Hokkaido, Japan. Check-in at 14:00, Check-out by 11:00.

I visited Hotel Area One Kushiro for the first time! It was a same-day reservation made online. The room rate was 3,850 yen for room only, which was very affordable. The room was spacious and there was an extra mattress under the bed, so it could be converted into a twin room. I didn't feel any inconvenience and had a good night's sleep. They also offered free coffee from a machine, which was creamy with a nice aroma and a hint of bitterness. Having coffee in the morning was nice. Check-out time was 11 am, so I left a little early to go to a ramen shop. Thank you, Hotel Area One Kushiro!

Since my last stay, some time has passed, but I wonder if the breakfast has changed? The hotel is a regular business hotel with no issues. Breakfast is served in a small space in front of the first floor reception. It seems quiet as there are not many guests during this off-peak season. The menu has improved compared to before. There are three types of chicken dishes, gratin, curry, and a decent variety of items. They also have bread. Considering the room rate, they are putting in quite an effort! I will visit again after some time.

Continuing from yesterday, I had the breakfast buffet again. The croquettes and ginger pork that were not available yesterday were delicious.

The breakfast buffet at Hotel Area One was satisfying with a good variety of food for the price. The 4 types of bread were especially delicious.

I stayed in Kushiro city. Free parking. I stayed at Hotel Area One, which includes breakfast. I parked my car in the parking lot across the hotel and checked in at 2 pm. There is a table and counter on the right as you enter, and the front desk is on the left. I checked in at the front desk and went to my room on the 7th floor. At night, I went to the neon district of Suehiro. Breakfast is served from 7 am to 9 am. I went to the breakfast venue on the 1st floor. Wait, the 1st floor? There was only the lobby and front desk on the 1st floor. Breakfast was unexpectedly served in the lobby on the 1st floor. I handed my breakfast ticket to the hotel staff, picked up a tray and plate, and headed to the limited food options. Since the breakfast price was cheap, I guess this is what you get. I had seconds of curry rice and it was delicious.

I really like the breakfast buffet at Hotel Area One in Obihiro. I heard that the breakfast at Hotel Area One in Kushiro has changed to a buffet, so I stayed there to see what it was like. The hotel itself is a normal business hotel with affordable accommodation costs. The breakfast included curry, stew, fried chicken, tamagoyaki, natto, saury, and Japanese side dishes. It was all quite ordinary. It's not bad, but when compared to Obihiro, there is quite a difference. It's surprising how different they are despite being part of the same chain.

I stayed in Kushiro for work. The hotel I stayed at was "Hotel Area One Kushiro," which is conveniently located near Kushiro Station. The accommodation plan was reasonable with breakfast included. When I checked in, the front desk staff said, "Since it's the 'Room Assignment Plan,' we have prepared a spacious room with three beds for you today," with a big smile. I'm alone, but are they going to pick up two men from the street!?
Our hotel's breakfast is popular among guests for its "breakfast buffet with a focus on ingredients." The abundant menu includes Hotel Area One original dishes using carefully selected Hokkaido ingredients and limited-time seasonal dishes that allow you to experience "local production for local consumption." Please enjoy the menu that both adults and children can enjoy when you stay at Hotel Area One Kushiro. The three main dishes are pork miso soup, sweetened pacific saury, and salmon roe with grated daikon. There are probably more dishes, but the buffet was not extensive, but it was a good one. Thank you for the meal!

Kushiro is a place where I am alone, I booked a hotel. When I arrived, I realized that it is close to the station and away from the downtown area, but it feels like being in the countryside. The distance to travel is nothing compared to Sapporo. Just like Obihiro's Area One, they were generous enough to upgrade the room if it's available. Kushiro was the same. Although it was a cheap plan, they said, "We have upgraded your room." It was probably not as dreamy as the room in Obihiro, but it was still better. Of course, I have no complaints. I am happy with the service. They have free Wi-Fi. The bed is a bit small for someone like me who moves a lot in sleep, but it's within an acceptable range. It feels a bit old, but still satisfactory. If I find another cheap plan, I will definitely stay here again. I didn't have breakfast as I had to leave early in the morning. They have welcome coffee available, and surprisingly, it was good even though it was machine-made coffee in the middle of the night. The service may not be as good as Sapporo, but it's still decent.
