I was invited by a friend who loves soup curry to visit this restaurant for the first time. The parking lot is in front of the store, and there is no designated parking spot, so you can park wherever there is space. I received a parking ticket from the parking lot attendant, and then got a stamp on the ticket at the store. It had been a while since I had soup curry, and I was completely satisfied with the taste and portion size. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also nice, and I felt like I could relax and enjoy my meal. When I checked on Tabelog after eating, I saw that the reviews were also high, and I completely agree. I would like to visit again.

During the New Year, I visited a popular restaurant called "Sapporo Soup Curry Dip," which was selected as one of the "Top 100 Stores." It was my first time visiting, and I wondered if I should start with this kind of restaurant. However, I tend to impulsively visit places that catch my interest. Besides, popular restaurants like this one will have plenty of reviews and information available, so I don't necessarily have to visit them myself. I arrived on a weekday around 12 pm, and there were no other customers. The interior was a bit dark, giving off a vibe of a dark eatery in a local town away from tourist spots in Asia. A rugged-looking man was in the kitchen, presumably the owner, and a young woman welcomed me to choose a seat. I sat at a four-person table near the entrance in the long and narrow restaurant with a total capacity of about 20 seats. I looked at the menu and decided to order the "Plenty of Vegetables" soup curry for 1,250 yen with a spice level of 6. I also added extra okra topping and requested a smaller portion of rice. After a 10-minute wait, a generous amount of vegetables overflowed from the bowl, including lettuce, potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, eggplant, burdock root, lotus root, bell peppers, broccoli, quail eggs, and cabbage. The rice was vibrant yellow turmeric rice, and I enjoyed the meal. The soup was light and easy to drink, with a significant spiciness at level 6, which I found to be worth the additional 200 yen. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the vegetables were all well-prepared, except for the slightly disappointing texture of the lotus root. I look forward to trying a meaty dish with habanero next time. Overall, I had a satisfying meal at "Sapporo Soup Curry Dip."

I ordered the crispy herb zangi (I think that's the name of the menu). It was definitely crispy! I love zangi, so it was very delicious! I wonder if they are husband and wife? The chef and his wife seemed to be muttering something to each other, which caught my attention. The chef wasn't the most friendly type.

I felt like eating soup curry and visited this highly-rated restaurant. They have a shared parking lot with space for 15 cars, making it easy to get to the restaurant. I ordered the classic chicken curry. It arrived shortly after ordering. To be honest, it was a bit greasy and I wasn't very satisfied.

Soup Curry Dip-san. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and stylish. I chose the Chicken Leg with a spiciness level of 3 from the menu. For lunch, I selected the Plain Lassi. The soup is light but still flavorful. The vegetables included cabbage, carrots, eggplant, pumpkin, onions, quail eggs, lotus root, potatoes, green beans, and daikon radish. The chicken leg was tender all the way to the bone and easy to eat. It was very delicious. I will definitely visit again.

This is around Kita 34-jo Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway. The restaurant is located on the first floor of a building with food and beverage shops along Tarukawa Street. Across the street, there is a Maibasuketto store affiliated with AEON. Although this restaurant is slightly hidden compared to other stores in the same building, it is popular, so I decided to visit. I went on a Saturday night and there were about two groups of customers. It seems to be popular among families. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with dried flowers and DIY-style bookshelves, creating a stylish café-like atmosphere. My family ordered the light soup with beef tendon curry, while I chose the light soup with chicken leg. The soup also comes in rich and creamy options for an additional 50 yen, but I opted for the free light soup. I chose a spice level of 3 out of 5, which is medium spicy. While waiting for the curry to be ready, I enjoyed a beer. Cheers with a glass of Heineken and Heartland beer. The soup curry was ready in about 10 minutes. The soup bowl is deep, filled with plenty of soup and vegetables. The lotus root, egg, and daikon in the front didn't mix much with the soup, while the pumpkin, green beans, and eggplant were well blended. I wished the chicken leg was cooked a bit more. The soup had a nice flavor, thin yet rich with a spicy kick. It's a place where you can enjoy beer in a stylish setting, so I would like to visit again for a different soup flavor next time. Thank you for the meal.

When I come to Sapporo, my routine is to enjoy delicious soup curry. I revisited "Sapporo Soup Curry dip" in Kita 29-jo Nishi, Kita-ku, Sapporo, which was delicious as always. I topped it with plenty of vegetables and quail eggs, and added extra spiciness, but the taste remained the same. It's a restaurant that I want to revisit many times.

Visited a stylish and delicious soup curry restaurant on North 34th Street for revenge after finding it closed on a previous weekday visit. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon around 1 pm to find only one other customer. The interior and background music made it feel more like a cafe than a curry spot. Opted for a "light" soup with "crispy chicken leg" and a spice level of 2 (medium). The rice was a satisfying saffron rice that paired well with the soup. The soup itself was on the lighter side, with a mix of cabbage, carrots, eggplant, pumpkin, onions, quail eggs, lotus root, potatoes, green beans, and radish - all except for the radish were lightly fried. The radish added a nice touch of flavor. The only downside was the large onions, which I'm not a fan of. The crispy chicken was delicious. Overall, a tasty meal. Thank you!

Soup Curry Dip-san. I went there! The store is facing the main street, but it's in a hidden place and hard to see! The taste is delicious as reviewed, but what impressed me the most was the amazing customer service! I highly recommend it! Thank you for the meal!

The location is Sapporo, on the first floor of the Famille Sapporo apartment building along Tarukawa-dori in Nishi 5-chome, Higashi-ku. The parking lot is in front of the apartment building and is shared with 15 other stores. A parking ticket (paper) with the written time details is provided by the attendant, and I was given 1 hour free parking on this day (slightly exceeded but still free). It was a weekday with cloudy weather. I arrived just after the opening time at 11:30, and there were about 4-5 empty parking spaces. The open sign and flag were put out a little later. The inside of the restaurant was very stylish with only table seating, including 1 table for 4 people and about 6 tables for 2 people, as well as counter seats with 2 on the entrance side and 4 on the left side. Just before 12:00, the tables for 2 people were filled, leaving only 1 table for 4 people and the counter seats available. During the weekday lunchtime, there were various services available, such as drinks (plain lassi, oolong tea, etc.), toppings (okra, burdock, lotus root, etc.), and extra rice. I ordered the Creamy Chicken 3 (normal), Plain Lassi (light), Okra Soup (light, rich, creamy - with extra charge). The menu had a variety of options, and the Chicken Legs were not fried, while the Crispy Chicken Legs were fried. The spiciness levels were from 1 to 4, with 5 and above requiring an additional charge. Level 3 was equivalent to medium spiciness. The Creamy Chicken 3 and Light Okra 4 were not very spicy in my opinion. Toppings included various meats and vegetables, and the rice portion could be adjusted with options for less or no rice (with price reduction). I ordered a normal portion and it was filling. The Plain Lassi was tangy, and adding unsweetened gum syrup enhanced the flavor. The Okra topping consisted of 3 pieces, which felt generous. The soup was light (even with cream) and could use a bit more richness. The Crispy Chicken Legs were perfectly fried, and they paired well with the soup. Personally, I felt that they could skip the frying process. The vegetables were delicious as they were, but may not blend well with the soup. The potatoes could be fried a bit more. The service was excellent, suitable for special occasions or dates, and the time from ordering to the arrival of the main dish was relaxed and enjoyable. For those in a hurry or impatient, it might be a bit challenging. It took about 30 minutes from serving the pre-meal drink to the main dish (being the first to enter and order). It seems to be a bit faster without fried items. Additionally, they offer free Wi-Fi with a password that can be found by searching for the Wi-Fi mark inside the restaurant (a bit challenging - took me some time due to poor eyesight). Payment is cash only, credit cards are not accepted (as of November 2021).

Lunchtime and I was craving soup curry! So, I decided to visit this place. It's located on the ground floor of an apartment building facing Kita-dori Avenue. The parking lot is shared with multiple stores and has space for about 15 cars. I found a few empty spots and parked my car. As I got out of the car, I noticed a parking attendant's booth, but no one was there. It seems like you're supposed to get a parking ticket from the attendant, then get a stamp or something from the restaurant to prove that you used their services. But the parking attendant was nowhere to be found. After wandering around for a minute or two, I decided to just go into the restaurant and ask about it. To my surprise, the response I got was, "If they're not here, just ignore it, it's fine." Quite an interesting system they have there. The restaurant had a high ceiling and a chic interior design, giving off a stylish vibe more like a venue for a wedding reception than a curry shop. I placed my order for soup curry with cream (extra 50 yen), chicken leg as the main, the spiciest level "3" for free, a small portion of rice, and toppings of broccoli and fried quail eggs (6 pieces). It took almost 20 minutes for the food to arrive, which was a bit longer than expected. But as soon as I took a sip of the soup, any thoughts of the wait time disappeared. The soup was rich and creamy with a mild flavor that was absolutely delicious. If they serve soup like this, I'll gladly wait! The vegetables were chunky and the added broccoli had a great presence. The quail eggs were a nice touch for a palate cleanser. The saffron rice was indeed a small portion, almost too small for my liking. I ordered it, but I could have done without it and just focused on the curry. The chicken leg was tender and flavorful, as expected. Overall, a soup curry place worth revisiting. Thanks for the meal.

A section on the first floor of a condominium with various restaurants. During lunchtime, the parking lot gets crowded with nearby office workers, so be careful. The recommended order is the crispy chicken leg for 1,130 yen. It's the favorite of the staff. The soup is light and clear, yet rich in flavor. The taste of the vegetables comes through well. Most importantly, the crispy chicken leg was delicious!!! They coat it with a generous amount of batter before frying, making it extra crispy. It may be high in calories, but the taste is worth it. If you just focus on the chicken leg in the soup curry, it's the best ever!

I visited "Soup Curry Dip" today to continue my quest to visit all the top 100 curry restaurants listed on Tabelog in Sapporo. This was actually my third attempt as the previous two times they were closed unexpectedly. I finally got to try their curry this time and it was worth the wait. I will make sure to call ahead next time to avoid any disappointment. I ordered the chicken leg curry with wiener topping and Rusutsu pork belly. The curry had a gentle and delicious flavor. Thank you for the meal, Soup Curry Dip!

Wandering new curry mania/rookie ramen mania, a solo middle-aged man. This is a memo-like review from the old man. If you are looking for concise information about the restaurant and food, please move on to other people's reviews. Currently, Hokkaido (and everywhere in Japan) is experiencing a scorching hot summer day. The temperature is soaring to 37.4℃, making it the hottest point in the country. Despite cheering for Ohtani's performance in the All-Star Game and Home Run Derby, the old man is exhausted from striking out, and all he can think of is "It's so hot..." Well, since it's hot everywhere, I might as well cut short my live cheering and go outside. Let's go check out a restaurant in the neighboring district of Kita. The top choice is a place on the street in front of Hokudai. To get there, I have to cross a 'river.' This narrows down the places where I can cross and slightly changes the direction to go. I head towards the nearby Kotoni-Sakaemachi Street (Kotoni-Hondori) in the direction of Shin-Kotoni. When I merge onto Sapporo Shin-Do (National Route 5), I head south at the intersection of the N34th Street Station on the Namboku Line. As I pass through the intersection, I confirm the blocks and sections as I go, and I see a familiar MS. Ah, it's "Gyudon" with a unique menu that I'm not familiar with, and it's the restaurant called "Gyudon Musashino." This MS is quite wide. It has various shops on the first and second floors, not just eateries. There are quite a few closed spaces, though. On Sundays and holidays, many shutters are down, so if you're not used to it, you might misunderstand that this restaurant is closed too. I've tried to visit "Musashino" several times when I was turned away during last year's corona crisis (Hokkaido's unique state of emergency declaration). I wish I had noticed this place sooner at that time. Oh well, there's no point regretting it now. I entered the restaurant around 12:10 pm. There was only one solo male customer already seated. There were no other customers. Maybe everyone is too hot to feel like eating curry. The quiet owner and his wife welcomed me. I was told to sit wherever I liked, so I chose the front table for two. The restaurant has two counter seats, five and two seats, and four tables for two. There may be a table for four in the back. There is hand sanitizer at the entrance. There were no partitions or vinyl barriers, including the counter seats. I looked at the menu and noticed that they have shrimp sautéed in butter (5 pieces) with a light flavor (free), level 3 spiciness (maximum for free), and 200g of rice (free). I also ordered Lavender Pork Shabu-Shabu and a Plain Lassi (coupon/free). The total including tax was ==========

[Sapporo Soup Curry Food Tour: Selected as one of the Top 100 Curry Restaurants in East Japan in 2020 and 2019] I went to Sapporo to try out some soup curry. With the emergency declaration starting on Monday, I decided to take a day off and head to Sapporo over the weekend without much planning. On the last day, I regretted not going to Furano to see the lavender fields, but the curry was delicious so it was worth it. I visited a soup curry specialty shop located about a 5-minute walk from Kita 34-jo Station in Sapporo, Hokkaido. The shop is on the first floor of an apartment building. It has a cafe-like atmosphere with a counter and tables, and it's quite stylish. They offer lunch service on weekdays with free drinks, toppings, or extra rice. The mutton leg curry also looked delicious. What I ordered: Rich Soup Chicken Leg Curry, Spice Level 02 (Medium), Regular Rice, with Soybean Toppings for an extra 50 yen, and opted for the rich soup on a weekday lunch service. The soup was surprisingly light, even though I expected it to be richer with the addition of beef extract as an accent. If this is considered rich, I wonder how light the light soup would be. It was smooth with a mild spice level, which I found to be on the milder side for my taste. The deep-fried vegetables were also lightly seasoned. The chicken leg was tender and moist, with a nice texture. It might be worth visiting a few more times to find your preferred taste. Thank you for the meal.

On April 11, 2021, when I got out of the car for my first visit, an old man approached me... I thought he was going to give me some parking instructions, but instead he handed me a parking ticket. It turns out that's how it works here. I was a bit unfamiliar with it, so I apologized. Even though I was dining alone, I was seated at a table instead of the counter seats. I ordered the tender braised mutton leg with mushroom topping in a rich soup curry, and I opted for the large portion. It was my first time trying it, and the "rich" description sounded delicious. Although I haven't finished it yet, I think "rich" means they added more oil or paste to it. It has a nice thick consistency. I was surprised to find that the mutton leg was boneless and very tender. The mushrooms added a nice texture, and the vibrant turmeric rice was good, although it was a bit too soft for my liking. I prefer firmer rice... I would like to try a lighter soup curry next time. The tender mutton curry was a treat. Thank you for the meal! (^_^)

4★ Puri Puri Shrimp Soup Curry (without rice) for 1,230 yen + Level 4 spiciness for 100 yen. This restaurant was selected as one of the top 100 on Tabelog in 2020. Located a 5-minute walk from Subway Kitasanjuyo, on the ground floor of an apartment building on Hokudai-mae Street, this soup curry shop is run by a former chef from Voyage. The atmosphere inside is calm and the friendly service makes it a comfortable place to dine. There are three types of soup available, with an additional 50 yen charge for anything other than the light option. Each soup comes with different vegetables. I ordered my favorite, the "Puri Puri Shrimp" that I loved at Voyage, without eggplant and carrots. They offer a weekday lunch service with options for drinks, toppings, and extra rice. I also enjoyed a plain lassi as a drink. The cooking process is meticulous, so be prepared for a slightly longer wait time. If you go when the restaurant is not busy, you may wait for around 30 minutes. The presentation of the dish is beautiful, and the light broth soup has a rich flavor with a layer of oil on the surface. The vegetables are cooked in various ways - boiled, fried, or raw - to bring out the best in each ingredient. The shrimp was plump and there were five pieces, with a hint of butter flavor that complemented the soup well. I opted for Level 4 spiciness, which wasn't too hot, and added an extra 100 yen for five pieces of pickled radish. I skipped the rice for a 50 yen discount. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Thank you for the meal.

I'm happy with the continuous operation of this restaurant. Although it's a bit far from my home, it's a convenient option for spontaneous outings and I rarely get turned away. I ordered the following items: - Deep-fried Hokkaido-grown maitake mushrooms @1,080 yen - Level 7 spiciness @300 yen (tax included) I opted for a small portion of rice (70g). With a coupon from Tabelog, I got a free vegetable topping and chose fried broccoli. The spiciness level 7 includes habanero peppers for a tangy kick. I didn't specifically want habanero, but I thought the acidity would add a nice touch. The soup base determines the vegetables included. The light soup contained potatoes, green beans, and daikon radish. The rich soup and cream soup had bell peppers. Other vegetables were consistent across all soups. There were no other customers at the time, and it took about 20 minutes for the food to be served. Upon tasting the soup, I noticed a slight oil film, likely from the fried vegetables. Personally, I feel that the oil film makes it seem like the soup has cooled down. The level 7 spiciness has a consistent heat and tanginess with each spoonful containing bits of pickled habanero. Although it may be unnecessary, I feel that with the soup at this temperature, a spice level of 1-2 might result in a more subdued flavor. The stewed daikon in the soup curry isn't my favorite ingredient, but the crispy texture of the daikon here is reminiscent of pickled daikon and quite delicious. It was my first time trying the maitake mushrooms, and they were larger and more fragrant than I expected, cooked just right to savor their quality. The broccoli topping I chose for free was quite large, and I thought it would be tastier steamed rather than fried. I look forward to trying the rich soup next time. Thank you for the meal.

#dip #North34 #I went to the recommended Sapporo Curry Professor 🚶‍♀️ Crispy Herb Zangi (1130yen) Light soup, level 3 spiciness Simple is the best embodied in this soup curry. Light, yet you can feel the spices in the soup. The Herb Zangi is crispy! It has a slightly junky flavor, but it's soft and delicious. The thinly sliced daikon is easy to eat and goes well with the soup. The eggplant is fried softly and is amazing. Adding fried broccoli would be even better. The rice is soft and chewy, but goes well with the soup. The children's plate is 500yen. They even lent me a Bumbo-like chair. #Curry #Spices #CurryClub #SpiceAddict #DeliciousFood #ThankYouForTheMeal #SpicyFoodLover #Lunch #SapporoCurryClub #CurryLover #curryclub

- Soup curry restaurant near Subway Kita 34-jo Station, with a stylish and pleasant atmosphere. - You can choose from three types of soup: light, rich, or creamy. I tried the light one, which had a Japanese-style base with a hint of spiciness and was delicious! - The service was a bit disappointing, so I rated it 2.7. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, but we had to wait quite a while to be seated (no greeting or acknowledgment upon entering, and we were left waiting for a bit). - Deep-fried Hokkaido-grown maitake mushrooms, priced at 1,080 yen. The soup was light, spiciness level 3, and I chose the normal 200g of rice. The soup curry had a large, thick maitake mushroom as the highlight, making a big impact! The soup had a Japanese-style base with a good balance of umami and spiciness, and it was delicious. The combination of vegetables, especially the maitake mushroom, was excellent. Although there was no meat, ordering this dish was the right choice! - Plain lassi (with a Tabelog coupon). It was served with no sweetness, along with gum syrup for you to adjust the taste yourself... This was a first for me! I adjusted the taste while drinking, and I think it tastes better with all the gum syrup added. Thank you for the meal!
