The location is Sapporo, on the first floor of the Famille Sapporo apartment building along Tarukawa-dori in Nishi 5-chome, Higashi-ku. The parking lot is in front of the apartment building and is shared with 15 other stores. A parking ticket (paper) with the written time details is provided by the attendant, and I was given 1 hour free parking on this day (slightly exceeded but still free). It was a weekday with cloudy weather. I arrived just after the opening time at 11:30, and there were about 4-5 empty parking spaces. The open sign and flag were put out a little later. The inside of the restaurant was very stylish with only table seating, including 1 table for 4 people and about 6 tables for 2 people, as well as counter seats with 2 on the entrance side and 4 on the left side. Just before 12:00, the tables for 2 people were filled, leaving only 1 table for 4 people and the counter seats available. During the weekday lunchtime, there were various services available, such as drinks (plain lassi, oolong tea, etc.), toppings (okra, burdock, lotus root, etc.), and extra rice. I ordered the Creamy Chicken 3 (normal), Plain Lassi (light), Okra Soup (light, rich, creamy - with extra charge). The menu had a variety of options, and the Chicken Legs were not fried, while the Crispy Chicken Legs were fried. The spiciness levels were from 1 to 4, with 5 and above requiring an additional charge. Level 3 was equivalent to medium spiciness. The Creamy Chicken 3 and Light Okra 4 were not very spicy in my opinion. Toppings included various meats and vegetables, and the rice portion could be adjusted with options for less or no rice (with price reduction). I ordered a normal portion and it was filling. The Plain Lassi was tangy, and adding unsweetened gum syrup enhanced the flavor. The Okra topping consisted of 3 pieces, which felt generous. The soup was light (even with cream) and could use a bit more richness. The Crispy Chicken Legs were perfectly fried, and they paired well with the soup. Personally, I felt that they could skip the frying process. The vegetables were delicious as they were, but may not blend well with the soup. The potatoes could be fried a bit more. The service was excellent, suitable for special occasions or dates, and the time from ordering to the arrival of the main dish was relaxed and enjoyable. For those in a hurry or impatient, it might be a bit challenging. It took about 30 minutes from serving the pre-meal drink to the main dish (being the first to enter and order). It seems to be a bit faster without fried items. Additionally, they offer free Wi-Fi with a password that can be found by searching for the Wi-Fi mark inside the restaurant (a bit challenging - took me some time due to poor eyesight). Payment is cash only, credit cards are not accepted (as of November 2021).
