When asked "Do you want to go to Tokuju?" there is no reason to refuse. I always want to eat yakiniku. I had been looking forward to it for a few days since it was suggested a few days ago. This was my first time at the Fukuzumi branch. I arrived around 12 o'clock on a holiday and the parking lot was only about half full. The restaurant was not full, but it was bustling. Although I didn't have a reservation, I was seated right away. As soon as I entered, I was struck by the beautiful cakes. Although I came for the yakiniku, I was also half interested in the cakes at Tokuju. We were seated at a table with partitions, so we didn't have to worry about people watching us. On this day, I chose the "American Set," which includes 80g of US kalbi and 80g of sagari for 1,200 yen (tax included). My partner chose the High Volume Lunch for 1,480 yen (tax included), which includes 80g of US kalbi, 80g of sagari, 60g of pork kalbi, and 60g of pork hormone salt. I will eat the hormone. The lunch comes with rice, soup, kimchi, and a salad bar (not all-you-can-eat, but one dish). The drinks are also reasonably priced. Shortly after ordering, the salad bar plate and one plastic glove arrived, and I eagerly headed to the salad bar. Everything looked beautiful and delicious. I chose tomato, pumpkin salad, sweet potato and tuna salad, and vegetables. There are also three types of dressings available. The pumpkin salad, sweet potato and tuna salad were delicious! The tomato was also tasty. The meat arrived in no time. Let's start grilling! My partner first said, "Is kalbi supposed to be this thin...?" Well, maybe... The sagari was chewy and delicious. The hormone was also tasty, with no odor and a chewy texture. As we continued eating, my partner said, "There's no beef tongue..." Well, we didn't order it. Let's plan to get the beef tongue set next time and add more sagari. We were full in no time. But here comes the second star: the cake. It's a sweet from Patisserie Fleur. Initially, I was going to get the Etoile, a caramel chocolate mousse, but I decided to go with the "Rare Cheese Cafe," which won the Sapporo Sweets 2020 and 2021 awards. It was described as "a perfect match of cheese mousse and coffee brulee, with caramelized apple as an accent." It was chewy and delicious. Having cake after yakiniku was pure bliss. It was a satisfying lunch. Visit in November 2022.
