I have never bought them before or received them as souvenirs, so for me, I rarely have the opportunity to eat Shiroi Koibito. One piece costs 70 yen + tax, and they also sell them individually. I also bought the "Mitou" for 140 yen + tax. So this is the Mitou... It looks just like the one my ex-girlfriend used to eat, right? It's delicious, right? Have you seen the Mitou commercial? I've never seen it. It came up in a conversation about some snack my ex-girlfriend ate, and she ended up eating all of it, so I didn't know what it was like (laughs). It's a chocolate snack with layers of puffy dough and jam cream-like layers alternating in five layers, coated with chocolate on the surface. It's about a size larger than a typical Japanese eraser, so it's easy to eat more than one. It's a sweet chocolate snack, so one piece is enough for me (laughs). Even though it doesn't look like it belongs in the department store basement, the character Mogutan kindly served me, and even though I only bought a little, I received a sample. It was something like a Shiroi Koibito matcha flavor. It's not like those unauthorized imitations you find somewhere. Good job, Ishiya Seika. ( *´艸｀)

I'm happy to receive this snack the most. Lately, you can buy it at department store events all over the place. It's delicious, and the cost performance is good. I like the chocolate version in the middle. Even if you buy a big size white Lover, you can finish eating it. When it comes to Hokkaido, this is it. There are many different types available. I want to try a little bit of each.

I love zunda, so I was curious about Ishiya's Nippon no Omiyagenki Project. The limited-time "Shiroi Koibito x Miyagi 'Hanayorizunda de ba'" (12 pieces for 1200 yen) was written about. However!! The matcha flavor is really subtle, and the zunda flavor feels artificial. It wasn't so bad that I couldn't eat it, but I didn't find it delicious. Now I see collaboration products with "Hakata Sukicchan." But I think Shiroi Koibito is best in its normal form, so I plan to avoid any more adventurous flavors in the future.

I found a place selling a limited edition souvenir called "Shiroi Koibito x Miyagi Hanayori Zunda" and decided to buy it. It consists of white chocolate sandwiched between zunda-flavored langues de chat cookies. The cookies have green specks in them. The taste is slightly salty and goes well with the white chocolate. Although I couldn't really taste the matcha flavor, the overall combination was really delicious. It seems to be a limited-time offering, so be sure to try it out!

No, I always thought that instead of buying boxes like this, I just want to eat what I want, like Rokkatei or Yagumizuki. I've been thinking that they should be more friendly to the locals and not just focus on souvenirs for tourists. But guess what! I recently found out that they sell them at ISHIYA SHOP on Odori Avenue. It's so surprising that they do it in such a familiar place. Both Tokyu and Ishiya Seika really know how to make decisions! So, it was delicious.

≼January 18, 2020 First Visit≽ On the last day of my visit, I bought the classic Hokkaido souvenir, Shiroi Koibito, which is sold everywhere but I decided to purchase it at the ISHIYA store inside Tokyu department store for a special experience. I bought a box of 24 pieces for 1,480 yen, choosing a mix of white and black cookies. I personally prefer the black ones, but the white ones are the classic choice. The black cookies were delicious, and I made sure to keep some for myself and gave the rest as gifts. Shiroi Koibito is always a hit and people really appreciate receiving it as a gift. The staff at the store were very kind and helpful, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Despite being a department store, Tokyu had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and it was a wonderful shopping experience. Although it's a department store, the prices were the same as anywhere else. I recommend buying Shiroi Koibito here if you have the time to stop by, as the packaging is nice and the experience is pleasant.

I purchased Mifuyu♡ Mifuyu is a pastry with layers of pie and chocolate. The caramel flavor combines milk chocolate and caramel with a mild taste. The chestnut flavor pairs white chocolate with a gentle sweetness. The blueberry flavor combines dark chocolate with fruity berry acidity, which I personally found to be the most delicious! The gianduja flavor is a limited-time product with almond and hazelnut gianduja filling sandwiched between cocoa-flavored pie. The name means "beautiful winter" and uses the letters "Mi, Fu, Yu" from the word Millefeuille. I also love Shiroi Koibito, but I like the crispy texture and the naming of this pastry, so I would like to buy it again♪

This is Ishiya's Tokyu Sapporo store. I often come here whenever I have free time. I bought my favorite "Prumi and Ramuru's sharing" this time. My father received some snowman chocolates in bulk from his workplace and shared some with me. I didn't even know this product existed... it's probably a winter limited edition. The snowman chocolates have a simple name, but they are not overly sweet like artificial white chocolates. They come in a box of 18, so eating them all alone might get boring. I wish they had strawberry or milk chocolate flavors too. They also had golden snowman chocolates for sale, which are perfect for those who only want to enjoy the chocolate part without the cookie.

I received Saqu Langue De Chat 18 pieces as a souvenir. It's Ishiya's langue de chat, similar to Shiroi Koibito but with different flavors. There were 6 flavors: caramel, Hokkaido wine, Hokkaido cheese, gianduja, matcha milk, and high milk, with 3 pieces of each. The wine and cheese ones were unique, while the others were more common. The box was colorful and beautiful, making it a nice souvenir. Thank you for the treat.

At the JR Nagoya Takashimaya department store, there is a Hokkaido food fair going on. In the afternoon, there are long lines and the store is crowded with people. Even the Shiroi Koibito from Ishiya Seika is quite busy. I noticed a white roll cake in the showcase and decided to buy one. The white cream inside the roll cake is fluffy and delicious.

The sneaky guy brought me some "Shiroi Koibito" cookies. He always says, "I didn't bring them for you." I never say "sorry" to him.
