Arrived in sunny Sapporo with a comfortable temperature of 19°C. There is a popular miso ramen shop in the Hokuren Building basement, which often has a long line. It is called Okushiba Shoten and is also very popular in Tokyo. I arrived 40 minutes before the 11am opening and was able to get a numbered ticket to wait for a seat comfortably. The shop is run by a chef who used to work in the Japanese cuisine industry before starting his own business. The soup is rich and flavorful, made with noodles from Nishiyama with a high water content. The chashu pork slices were thin and not very tasty. The interior of the shop is still keeping one seat empty between customers for social distancing. Despite having 4 staff members, the service was a bit slow and it took 4 minutes to receive my bowl of ramen. When I left, there were already over 20 people waiting in line, as expected.

I made a reservation and went. There is an extra charge of 100 yen for reservations, but since it is a popular restaurant with long lines, you can enjoy the feeling of boldly cutting in later. Seafood salt ramen has shrimp, squid, scallops, and mackerel, with plenty of ingredients. The soup made with soy milk is delicious like clam chowder. The noodles are decently mixed, but it goes great with rice, especially the mackerel with salty flavor that makes you want to eat more rice.

I visited this popular restaurant located just a few minutes' walk from JR Sapporo Station, and also conveniently close to Sapporo Municipal Subway Toho Line Sapporo Station ticket gate. I finally got the chance to dine here after wanting to for a while. I purchased a meal ticket in the hallway and then entered the restaurant. I ordered the miso ramen, which was ready in about 10 minutes. The noodles were thick, and the soup was rich yet surprisingly refreshing. The aroma of garlic was especially delightful. The chashu was tender and delicious, making this miso ramen a satisfying choice. It's a simple yet incredibly satisfying bowl of miso ramen. I would definitely line up again to come back and eat here. Thank you for the meal.

I always see this shop with a long line, so I decided to make a reservation this time. It was smooth to get in during lunchtime. The menu is known for its energizing miso ramen, but I left that to my companion and opted for the second most popular choice, a simple miso ramen. It cost 1,000 yen per bowl, which is a bit pricey. The miso ramen had a unique taste that I haven't really experienced before. It was delicious, but slightly on the expensive side. The energizing miso ramen and the one I had had a similar base, but the latter had a milder flavor. Thank you for the meal!

It was a little after 2 PM on Sunday, but it was very crowded and I waited in line for about 30 minutes. I think I started lining up at 2:31 PM and finally entered the shop at exactly 3 PM. There seemed to be a lot of foreign tourists, as there were few Japanese people in line. I'm not sure about the regular price of Hokkaido miso ramen, but it feels a bit expensive. It's a bit strange for regular ramen to cost over 1000 yen. I feel the most comfortable eating ramen around 750 or 800 yen (based on Tokyo-style ramen), and when it's over 1000 yen, it feels like a ramen to eat on a special occasion. Because of that, I recommend it for tourists.

I topped the energizing miso ramen DX with a boiled egg, creating a taste reminiscent of "Sapporo miso ramen." The soup and noodles combined the stamina of garlic, resulting in a quite powerful bowl. This is a recommended dish for those who want to enjoy a hearty "Sapporo miso" ramen. The soup had a depth and richness that seemed to use multiple types of miso, with a thick and creamy texture at times, reminiscent of koji miso. The flavor was quite salty, but that's what made it deliciously "Sapporo miso ramen." The umami of the garlic infused into the soup, giving it a slightly garlicky aroma. The noodles were slightly thick, providing a chewy texture and satisfying bite. The toppings included chashu, garlic, scrambled egg, green onions, and more. The chashu was substantial even with just one slice, providing great satisfaction. I noticed the reason for using scrambled eggs instead of boiled eggs immediately after tasting it. The scrambled eggs allowed you to enjoy the depth of the soup even more when eaten together. I tried drinking the soup with the additional boiled egg, but I found that the scrambled eggs enhanced the richness of the soup even more. A whole garlic clove was included, soaking in the soup and absorbing its delicious flavors. However, I was disappointed that there was less garlic than shown in the photos. The initially served water was lukewarm, but the water on the table was nicely chilled. They use π water, although I didn't notice any significant difference from regular water. There were soy sauce, chili, and vinegar on the table for you to use freely. I was pleased to see a box of tissues and the complimentary paper apron provided.

This is my first revisit in 5 years. I arrived around 11:45 am as it tends to get crowded during lunchtime. It seems they have changed to pre-payment for food tickets, maybe due to the pandemic. It's convenient that credit cards and various payment methods are accepted. Five years ago, I felt like I wanted to eat here again after finishing, but this time, either my taste buds have changed over the years or the ramen has been altered because I didn't feel as impressed as before. The ramen was delicious.

I ordered soy sauce ramen for 980 yen. I think miso ramen is more famous, but I wanted to try a light ramen so I chose soy sauce ramen. It was lighter than I expected, and I really liked it. I think this place used to have clam ramen a long time ago...? Thank you for the meal.

Visited during lunchtime on a regular day. A popular restaurant with instructions for the entry process. Waited in line for about 20 minutes before entering. Purchased a meal ticket at the entrance just before entering. Ordered the energizing miso ramen (1180 yen) and water gyoza (350 yen). The soup is delicious♡ I could keep drinking it forever♪ The medium-thick noodles and runny egg are also delicious ( ꈍᴗꈍ) Highly recommended restaurant♪

I visited "Ramen Sapporo Ichiryuan" on July 1st for the first time. I had a reservation for one person at 11:00, as I had some business in the area starting at 10:00. There was a small line of about 10 people before opening, but I was able to skip the line with my reservation. The staff handled the reservation smoothly, and I was seated promptly. I ordered the Miso Ramen (medium) and it came with chashu, scrambled egg, sliced mushrooms, and garlic. The portion of toppings was a bit smaller than expected, but the flavor was good. The noodles were medium thickness and the soup had a mild miso flavor. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I arrived in Sapporo and went straight to eat ramen. I went to Ichiryuan, located in a building near the hotel, underground near Sapporo Station. Since I didn't have much time, I couldn't go to a famous restaurant, but I wanted to try Sapporo ramen. I visited around 4 pm, so there was only one other customer. I bought a ticket for "Energy-Boosting Miso Ramen (medium)" for 1,180 yen, with 155g of noodles. There was also a small size with 75g, but I thought it might be too small for dinner, so I chose the medium. The interior had about 6-7 counter seats and 2 tables. The ramen arrived with a reddish miso-based broth and scrambled egg-like toppings. The soup was tasty but lacked depth. The noodles were thick and curly, with a good texture. The thick slices of chashu had a strong flavor. I'm not sure what "Energy-Boosting" means, but I felt more energetic after eating it. Thank you for the meal.

Ramen Sapporo Ichiritsu-an. Located on the first floor underground of Hokuren Building near Sapporo Station. The staff's smart guidance and service make the wait a few minutes. Get a meal ticket from the vending machine and enter the restaurant. Today, when it comes to Ramen Sapporo Ichiritsu-an, the recommended "Energizing Miso Ramen" DX with extra-large portion is ordered. It maximizes the use of Hokkaido ingredients, giving a slightly luxurious feel. With nutrient-packed garlic and top-grade pork shoulder chashu, this ramen is sure to boost your energy. The rich soup has a strong umami flavor, and it pairs well with the chewy homemade noodles, which is the secret to its popularity.

A rich and slightly fishy tasting miso ramen with a thick and creamy broth, paired well with thick noodles. The impression of the soup changes significantly when you take it to go compared to eating in-store, so I recommend eating in. The toppings are all large and delicious.

I'm glad I made a reservation! It was super crowded during the weekend lunchtime! Making a reservation costs 100 yen for a seat, but it saves time. You can order the menu with a tap and also include the 100 yen for the seat at the same time! However, if you want to use T-Points from Tabelog, you can't get an automatic discount, so make sure to talk to the staff. I totally forgot to use my points, so I had to pay the full amount, get a refund, and then pay again... haha, I really forgot completely. I ordered salt ramen with a seasoned egg and a small soup dumpling. I thought it was delicious at first, but it got a bit salty as I kept eating, so I ended up drinking a lot of water. The noodles were quite chewy, but the soup dumplings were just okay. The minced meat didn't have much flavor, and I couldn't taste any umami. There were some disappointing aspects, but overall, it was pretty tasty.

◆Energizing Miso Ramen◆Miso ramen payment◆2,250 yen Perhaps it was due to the event? It's not that it's not delicious, but it's just lacking... My partner also had a ??? expression. Maybe it's different if you eat it in Hokkaido, but the soup was too spicy (too strong), which was disappointing.

It's been a while since I visited here. I was seated promptly without any wait. Eating ramen here always makes me feel energized! I'm curious about the other menu items, but I always end up choosing this one. Next time, I'll challenge myself to try something different.

There is always a long line at the popular ramen shop in Hokuren Building basement. The unique feature is the egg! Soft omelette-like egg is added, giving a rich miso flavor with a deliciously creamy egg. This shop also offers local craft beer, which is a great addition!

I visited this restaurant because I wanted to use my T-point from Tabelog! It's a popular place with long lines every day, but you can make a reservation through Tabelog for just 100 yen and skip the line. I told the staff about it as soon as I arrived, bought a ticket from the machine, and took a seat. I ordered a small size of the miso ramen, which was just the right amount to fill me up to about 60%. It's a good portion for tourists who want to try various foods but still want to eat here! The noodles were slightly thicker than medium, like Sapporo ramen, and the rich miso soup was delicious. The addition of garlic was also a nice touch. It's a ramen that even locals would want to try at least once. Enjoy your meal!

Ordered the energizing miso ramen DX with special seasoned egg over rice. The soup had a strong miso flavor, but lacked the taste of seafood or pork bone broth, making it taste like a cheap ramen. The noodles were just average. The garlic was processed to not be too pungent, but ended up tasting bland. Compared to other famous Sapporo ramen shops, this one falls short. It feels more geared towards tourists.

A richly seared Hokkaido-style miso soup! A new sensation ramen with a creamy scrambled egg topping that you don't see in regular ramen. The fragrant garlic enhances the goodness of the ramen. The sweet and rich soup and scrambled egg were a bit disappointing for me, but it was delicious.
