Jolly Pasta used to be a great place to relax on a busy Monday with their delicious food. However, the recent changes in the app, lack of coupons, and smaller portions in the dishes have been disappointing. I decided to treat myself with the Uni Carbonara, but the amount of Uni was significantly less than shown in the picture. It was just a hint of Uni flavor in a regular Carbonara. I was really let down. Despite this, I will still go back next week.

On every holiday, we always ask each other, "Where should we go? Where should we go?" After watching the TV commercial for "Jolly Pasta," my family decided, "Let's go there for Obon holiday!" It was our first visit as a family. We ordered the Piccolo Penne Gorgonzola Cream for 649 yen, Salad Set with drink bar for an additional 429 yen, and Premium Dolce Misto - a set of 5 desserts for 759 yen. The staff welcomed us to choose our own seats, and we picked a table close to the drink bar. It was cool and comfortable, with a natural breeze blowing through. Although it was a bit warm, the seat with the breeze was nice. The pasta was served with the sauce already mixed in. I love penne, so I enjoyed the Piccolo Penne Gorgonzola Cream with a side of delicious bread. I'm not a fan of white sauce, but this one was tasty. The bread was soft and delicious, even though I don't usually eat bread. My companion had the meat sauce Doria, which was also tasty. Since we all ordered individual dishes, we shared a salad with the drink bar included. The dessert was small but perfect after the meal. It was our first time at Jolly Pasta, and we were impressed by the excellent service. If there was one nearby, we would love to visit often. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Located in the Saimachi area of Ebetsu City, this Italian restaurant belonging to the Zensho Group is situated in the parking space of the Aeon Ebetsu store along Route 12. At the request of my wife, who wanted to try the dishes advertised in the TV commercials, we decided to visit this restaurant for the first time. The interior of the restaurant is bright and spacious, with many table seats arranged like a family restaurant. We arrived at the opening time, so there were not many customers initially, but by the time we left, the restaurant was almost full, indicating its popularity. In addition to the usual Italian menu items such as pasta and pizza, there are also seasonal limited-time dishes, making it a bit difficult to decide what to order. I opted for the "Premium Margherita & Quattro Formaggi Half & Half Pizza (1,089 yen)" along with the "Oven-Baked Clam Chowder (506 yen)", while my wife ordered the "Oven-Baked Cheese Pasta with Oysters and Bacon" she had been looking forward to. We both also got the "Salad Set with Drink Bar (429 yen)". The pizza had a thin Roman-style crust, crispy and delicious. The clam chowder, served with a dome-shaped lid made of pizza dough, was also tasty. My wife enjoyed the rich flavor of the cheese pasta, which was better than she had expected. Although the prices may not be cheap, the quality of the food was good overall, making it a nice option for a casual pasta meal.

The other day, when I visited a hot spring in Ebetsu, I stopped by a restaurant that I had been curious about after seeing their TV commercial recently. It was my first visit to "Jolly Pasta." The interior of the restaurant was bright and had a family restaurant atmosphere. We were seated at a table and when I looked at the menu, I was pleasantly surprised to see that all the prices were very affordable! I was so happy that I wanted to order two dishes, but my companion reminded me that overeating before going to the hot spring is not a good idea. So, I decided to just order one pasta dish. But, maybe it's okay to add a small pizza as well, right? So, we ordered the "Mentaiko Pasta" (759 yen), "Bacon and Onion Spaghetti" (759 yen), and "Piccolo Quattro Formaggi" (429 yen). Both pasta dishes had a firm texture, generous toppings, and were well-seasoned and delicious! The presentation was also beautiful! I thought I could eat three plates of pasta (lol). The Piccolo-sized pizza had a diameter of 18cm, which I thought was small, but it was just right as a side dish. I could probably eat two or three of them as well! The pizza crust was crispy and delicious! I noticed there was a power outlet under the table, so I asked the staff if it could be used. They kindly explained that it was for using touch panels and such, and not for customer use. So, remember, it's not for customers to use! Jolly Pasta was delicious, affordable, and fun. (Visit on September 19, 2022) I visited a bit nervously. I'm fine myself, but without being vaccinated, it's a different story. Now, what should I order? I always go for basil dishes, so I wanted to try something different this time. - Spinach and Bacon with Butter Soy Sauce 759 yen The combination of butter and soy sauce is great. It's expected, right? Butter soy sauce rice is delicious too! It was a bit on the sweet side, but still within acceptable limits. The bacon fat adds a nice touch. The pasta was cooked just right, with a nice firmness. For this price, I felt satisfied. I found it a bit expensive last time, but maybe that was because of the delivery. Thank you for the meal! After finishing a night shift, we went to a restaurant in Ebetsu because we saw it in a commercial and wanted to try it out. My husband ordered the oven-baked Polonaise for 1290 yen, while I opted for the vegetable Genovese for 880 yen. We also decided to share the cold Carbonara for 990 yen. We added a drink bar for 99 yen each through the app, but since it was just one person, it cost 180 yen extra. Due to COVID restrictions, they weren't serving alcohol at the time, so I couldn't enjoy my Genovese as much as I wanted. The Carbonara didn't suit my taste, so my husband ended up eating most of it. In the end, I realized that I prefer Poporamarma.

The reviewer mentioned that the restaurant seems to be a place where some people feel like going regularly, but they personally do not feel the same way. They found the mandolin background music calming. They tried a cold salad with marinated mushrooms and bacon, and while the taste was average, they thought the concept was interesting. The pizza they had was thin and crispy, not like the previous one they had at Shakey's. They found the pasta to be too salty, with the sauce overpowering the dish and not enough clams or mentaiko. It's well chilled and easy to drink. While waiting for the food to arrive, I calm my stomach with crispy and delicious garlic toast. There are too many options, but I ordered the pasta "Red snapper and clam peperoncino." It's full of garlic, olive oil, clam broth, and a refreshing lemon acidity. This is Jolly Pasta, an Italian restaurant from the Zensho Group. It's Friday night but there are only a few customers here. It's okay though, it's nice to be able to eat in a calm atmosphere. The salad seems a bit pricey at 690 yen for this portion, but it's made with Norwegian salmon, so maybe that's why. I ordered the squid and mentaiko pasta in a large size. The large size includes 1.5 servings of noodles and sauce for an extra 250 yen. It's quite satisfying when you go for the large size. The dishes seem to be frozen and prepared quickly, but they're not bad. The pizza has a thin crust and is surprisingly tasty, with a crispy texture and plenty of cheese. It reminds me of the excitement I felt when I first tried Shakey's pizza as a kid. It's not a fancy, gourmet pizza, but it has a certain junk food charm that adds to its deliciousness. There are several types of pizza on the menu, so I might try them all next time.

I had the daily lunch special. There were two pasta options to choose from. I forgot the exact name, but I had a spaghetti with chicken and mushrooms in a butter soy sauce. It cost 630 yen (excluding tax) and came with a soup bar. It was a good deal. The spaghetti was cooked just right, and the chicken was not too tough. The flavor of the butter soy sauce was delicious. The soup bar had only one option, a consomme soup with bacon and cabbage.

I didn't take any photos of the menu or the food, but the conclusion is that it was a good chain restaurant! It depends on how you use it, but with 3 people visiting, 2 of us had alcohol and 1 friend who doesn't drink. This setup worked for our drinking session in Ebetsu. Our friend from Sapporo was the designated driver, thank you always ❤️. The non-drinking friend's bill was actually cheaper than ours who drank, and with the designated driver arrangement, we were all very satisfied. The bottled wine was also in the 1000 yen range. The variety of Italian appetizers was amazing! If you want a proper meal, there are also pasta and pizza options, but there are plenty of food options that go well with alcohol! Since there were hardly any customers inside, social distancing was naturally maintained! They also had a great drink bar here. Ebetsu drinking, for us, was a good choice. One of our friends lives in Ebetsu, which was a big factor in this Ebetsu drinking session. It was fun! The only food photo I have is of the Caprese, but we also ordered Gorgonzola cream penne, shrimp tomato cream risotto, and oven-baked potatoes, I think! The bill was also in the 2000 yen range for us who drank, which is quite affordable! I don't remember the specific dishes we found delicious, but being able to use this space casually, whether you're drinking or not, is enjoyable. So, family restaurant drinking is also an option. This time, we used it as an early dinner. There were many types of pasta to choose from, and I had a hard time deciding, but I ordered the seafood peperoncino. It contained shrimp, clams, squid, and the balance of spicy chili and garlic flavor was delicious. The pizza was crispy and I could have eaten as many slices as I wanted (lol). The tomato sauce was delicious. Here, toddlers get free access to the drink bar, and when my elementary school son ordered the meat sauce, the staff recommended the kids' portion which is the same amount but cheaper, and even comes with a drink bar, so we changed to the kids' portion as suggested. Honestly, I was expecting a family restaurant-like taste, but it was surprisingly delicious, there are still other menu items I'm interested in, and they have services for children, so I would like to use it again when dining with my family. Recently, I decided to try this place for the first time because it has expanded into the area. It's a pasta specialty store, but looking at the menu, it also offers a variety of other dishes, giving me a sense of a pasta version of Saizeriya. I ordered the Spicy Carbonara and tried it out, but it tasted like a regular Carbonara with a lot of pepper. I think I'll try ordering a different pasta next time.

However, with the current situation with the coronavirus, schools are closed, but we still need to eat to keep up our energy. So, with my two kids, we went out to eat. We wanted to enjoy the car ride a little more before saying goodbye to our car soon. It was around 6 pm and the restaurant was empty. My daughter was worried about the calories in the cheese dishes, so she didn't eat them. She had the Shrimp and Sea Urchin Cream dish for 830 yen, my son had the Creamy Mozzarella Cheese Carbonara, and I had the Baked Camembert Cheese Carbonara. We were all satisfied with the Mozzarella and Camembert dishes. The menu was so extensive that I want to come back and try more dishes. They also have pizza, so we definitely need to come back. I visited this restaurant for the first time in November to try their limited-time uni pasta. I was hesitant to pay over 1000 yen for pasta at a family restaurant, but my mother wanted to try it, so we ordered it. The pasta that was served had plenty of fresh sea urchin on top! Cream-based pasta can be heavy, so my mother and I shared it, but even half was satisfying with the generous amount of uni. I had thought that if I'm going to pay this price, I'd rather go to a specialized restaurant instead of a family restaurant. I'm sorry for underestimating it (lol). Of course, not only the amount of uni but also the taste was very delicious. The other dish, pizza, was reasonably priced. It was crispy, which I like, and I was also satisfied with this. And the drink bar, which I didn't have high expectations for, had delicious white and red grape juice (I forgot the fancy name it had) that I ended up drinking multiple times. Having a drink bar with something you like makes you want to go back more often. Next time, I want to go with friends and stay longer. (^^)

I visited for lunch. I was in Ebetsu for work. I wonder when this place was built? It didn't exist before. It's quite crowded at lunchtime, so I have to wait in line. Takeout seems to be available too. This time, I ordered the "kakibonara". It comes with a soup bar! All-you-can-drink soup is great! I ended up drinking 3 cups before the food arrived. The pasta has plenty of oysters. Oyster lovers will be thrilled. It was delicious, but personally, I felt it was just okay. Next time, I want to come and try a different pasta. Ebi Uni Cream Pasta for 913 yen, half pint beer for 264 yen at a new pasta chain that recently opened in Hokkaido near Eon Mall in Ebetsu. The place also has a Hamazushi restaurant on the same premises with a spacious parking lot that gets full during the day. Hokkaido people love trying out new things, but they also get bored quickly. Despite being open for a month, the place was still packed on a weekend night. The pasta menu is extensive with affordable options, including the delicious Ebi Uni Cream Pasta with perfectly cooked shrimp and creamy sauce. The quality of the food was surprisingly good, even though the prices can add up if you order a set meal. Overall, a satisfying dining experience.
