Popular ramen restaurant "Ramen Sora Main Store" in the Susukino area. In addition to the main store in Sapporo, they also have outlets at New Chitose Airport's Hokkaido Ramen Dojo, and even in places like Las Vegas and the Philippines. The menu includes miso, soy sauce, and salt ramen, each with different toppings. I ordered the Char Siu Ramen (miso). The soup, made with carefully simmered pork bones from Hokkaido, has a mild flavor enhanced by the savory grilled miso. The large-cut pork belly char siu adds a satisfying element, and you can also enjoy a refreshing flavor change by adding grated ginger. The noodles are the classic Sapporo ramen style, curly egg noodles. This review is based on a visit during the cold season, so prices and menu items may have changed. They are open late, making it a great ramen spot to visit after enjoying some drinks.

On Saturday at 9pm, there are about 10 people waiting in line for a small restaurant with 8 counter seats. No one sitting is eating yet. The service may be a bit slow, but we were seated in about 30 minutes. I ordered the Chashu miso ramen with extra green onions for 1,300 yen. It was served in 10 minutes. The miso flavor was great, especially after drinking. It felt more worth it than the Special Ramen at the same price. The soup portion was a bit small, but I was satisfied. When I left the restaurant after 10 minutes, the line had gotten longer. Thank you for the meal!

The hotel I stayed at was near Odori Park, so I was researching Tanukikoji Street and found "Sora" restaurant. There was already a line forming, so I decided to line up before thinking "I have to eat here before leaving." The restaurant doesn't have a door, it's just a counter that extends from the street, giving it a street food stall vibe. I ordered the miso ramen. It looked a bit sparse in terms of toppings, but it was piping hot and the flavor was excellent. The grated ginger on top also added to the deliciousness. The kitchen was run by two young men who worked together seamlessly. I would love to try a different ramen next time. I also had Sapporo Classic beer here. Thank you for the meal.

The other day, when I went on a trip to Hokkaido, we all felt like eating ramen after drinking, so we decided to stop by Ramen Sora, which I had been curious about for a while! This place is famous for its miso ramen, but I tried the spicy miso ramen! I will definitely visit again!

I went around 8:00 pm on September 12th. There was no wait, probably due to the rain, so we were seated right away. I ordered miso ramen and spicy miso ramen. As expected, the miso ramen from Sapporo was delicious. The chashu was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The spicy miso ramen was quite spicy, so be cautious if you don't like spicy food.

I lined up in a long queue for late-night wandering ramen. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I finally got to eat it! Even locals wait in line to eat here. The ginger flavor was strong and delicious! The chashu was sweet and tender, and despite being late-night ramen, I didn't feel too guilty eating it.

I visited around 10 pm on September 6, 2023. There were about 10 people waiting in line. I ordered miso ramen and beer. The ramen had a nice ginger flavor and was delicious. The staff worked efficiently and I thought it was worth a visit.

Sapporo expedition day. On the way back after eating plenty of sushi just before, I found a line at a ramen shop. I thought, "I might as well go for ramen." and convinced myself to join the end of the line. After waiting for 25 minutes, I finally entered the shop. This type of shop usually has ticket machines, but this one had a system where you pay in cash afterwards. I ordered the classic miso ramen for ¥950. It only took 4 minutes for the ramen to arrive. First, I tried the soup. It had a strong oak flavor and was delicious. The noodles were slurp-worthy and the chashu was tender and tasty! The bamboo shoots were also delicious! I couldn't stop slurping the noodles, and before I knew it, I had finished the soup as well. It was a night where I truly enjoyed Sapporo.

During my trip to Sapporo, I took a stroll down Tanukikoji Street and finally got the chance to try this restaurant that always had long lines outside. It was just before 4 PM, so I was able to get in right away. The soup wasn't too rich, but had a subtle miso flavor that gradually grew on me. The noodles were perfectly chewy and the char siu pork with ginger on the side added a refreshing touch.

I visited a ramen shop in Sapporo for the first time. Despite it being past 10 PM, there was a line and I waited for about 40 minutes. I ordered miso ramen with spicy meat and butter toppings. It was really delicious, but honestly, I wish the miso had a bit more richness to it.

My stomach is so full and uncomfortable (^◇^;) but for the first day's finale, I decided on miso ramen!!!! Next to the famous kushikatsu restaurant Senri, there was always a long line at Ramen Sora, so I decided to visit for the first time ( ^ω^ ) Luckily, I got seated without waiting in line!! I ordered the miso ramen and it arrived in just 5 minutes!! It's been a while since I had egg noodles (≧∀≦) The soup had a miso flavor, but it wasn't really strong. Maybe because my stomach was so full??? It was light, but I might get heartburn from it... Alright! Tomorrow is the long-awaited autumn golf in Hokkaido! (^o^)

It seemed like they were serving around 9-10 people per batch. There was a long line, but we were able to get in after waiting for about 30 minutes. The taste was good, but not outstanding. I haven't visited many other restaurants in the area, so I would like to try other famous ones nearby for comparison.

I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen (950 yen). The soup was rich with pork bone base lard, thick, and oily. The miso flavor was less than expected, and the taste was salty. It had a salty taste with a mix of various flavors, not just miso. There was a slightly roasted and fragrant aroma, but not much depth in flavor. The amount of ingredients was minimal as shown in the photo. Despite the few ingredients, the amount of noodles felt normal. I thought it might be more expensive because it's in Susukino. The spicy meat was much spicier than it looked. It was better to mix it with the whole bowl rather than eating it separately. The meat was thinly sliced pork, not minced, so it mixed well with the soup. The store was quite hot, possibly due to weak air conditioning or lack of it. The counter seats were directly hit by the heat from the kitchen, even with the door open. The staff wore neck fans to cool off. There were many foreign customers. The restaurant is within a 5-minute walk from Susukino Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Namboku Line. It is located across the street from the road where Ichiran Ramen is visible, making it easy to find. It was a Wednesday and the number of people in Susukino was low. I chose this place over Sumire, another miso ramen shop in the same area, which was crowded. The price was a bit high for the minimal ingredients, and the focus didn't seem to be on the noodles. It was indeed delicious, but there was nothing particularly outstanding. It's a good choice for basic miso ramen in the Susukino area.

I visited around 1:30 pm on Monday. I was able to enter smoothly. I ordered the most popular miso ramen and chashu rice bowl. The soup was very delicious. Both dishes had tender chashu, which was great. The noodles were curly and firm, which was not to my liking. Overall, it was delicious, but the interior of the restaurant was very hot. It was hotter inside than outside, and I wanted to finish eating quickly because of that, so that was a big downside.

First of all, I love rich pork bone ramen. I wanted to try Sapporo-style miso ramen, so I searched on Tabelog and ended up at Sumire. The line was quite long, so I decided to go to a highly rated place instead. I arrived close to 9pm and there were about 5 groups of customers waiting. The turnover rate was normal. I got seated after about 30 minutes. I ordered the miso ramen and a staff meal bowl. The miso ramen was a bit light, not really tasting like miso. I was hoping for a more rich and flavorful miso taste. It felt disappointing. The staff meal bowl was delicious with tofu and pork. It would have been perfect if they had fried rice. Overall, it was a bit of a letdown, so I might try another place.

Visited around late night, past 11 PM during the Obon period. Waited for about 20 minutes before being seated. The soup had a rich flavor but was not too heavy or overpowering, making it easy to drink. The noodles had a nice firmness and were incredibly delicious. The chashu was very tender and had a great taste.

I visited a famous restaurant near my hotel where there was always a long line. The interior of the restaurant was small, with only about 8 seats at the counter. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I finally got in and quickly ordered their recommended miso ramen. The ramen was simple, with green onions, egg, bamboo shoots, and chashu. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles. The only difference was that there was a small amount of grated ginger on top of the chashu, which added a nice touch. Mixing the ginger made the broth refreshing and increased my appetite. I also tried adding shichimi (seven-spice blend) at the end, and surprisingly, it tasted delicious. I was able to enjoy three different flavors - regular miso, ginger, and shichimi.

When in Kansai, it's hard to find really delicious miso ramen. Sometimes I feel like the best miso ramen is the one I make myself from a packet of Sapporo Ichiban miso ramen. But wait! I came to Hokkaido to try out a famous ramen shop known for their tasty miso ramen. It's 9 pm and there are 5 people waiting ahead of me. This must mean the taste is worth the wait. After about 15 minutes, I'm seated and without even looking at the menu, I loudly order "miso ramen" to the waiter. The order arrives - a beautiful golden miso soup. The depth of flavor isn't very strong, but it's simple and you can feel the true spirit of miso ramen in it. Grated ginger on top of the chashu adds a nice accent to the flavor. This is delicious! Thank you for the meal.

After a drinking party, I went for a late-night meal and there was a line of about 8-9 people, but I was able to get in within about 15 minutes. I ordered the most popular miso ramen (950 yen). The presentation was simple yet the slightly firm noodles and flavorful soup blended well together, making it a satisfying bowl that I could drink up. The ginger on top of the chashu was a nice touch!
