Do you like crab? I love it. I thought I could go without a reservation to this big restaurant, but I was turned away last time, so this is my revenge visit. This time, I made a reservation for the "Memories Course." We were led to a private room with a small garden attached, creating a lovely atmosphere. We started with a corn tofu appetizer, light and sweet in flavor. Then came the ice bowl with king crab, button shrimp, and sea bream. The king crab was rich, sweet, and absolutely delightful. The wasabi that came with it wasn't to my liking, but all the sashimi was delicious. Next up was the grilled crab. This was the best...!!! The huge legs of king crab were grilled to perfection, with a wonderful aroma filling the air. The meat was tender and flavorful, a truly amazing dish. Then came the shabu-shabu. I prefer my crab rare, so I only briefly cooked it, but even slightly cooked, it was delicious. Followed by the steamed crab, infused with a hint of hinoki fragrance, creating a gentle and flavorful dish. The sweetness of the crab was beautifully captured. The crab cream soup in a pie crust was just okay, lacking in crab flavor. And then, the crab tempura. Despite feeling quite full by this point, it was excellent. And finally, the seared crab sushi arrived. It had a great aroma, perfect searing, and a wonderful texture, but it was a bit cold from being prepared in the kitchen. The dessert was melon, surprisingly sweet and delicious. A feast of crab, crab, crab - a truly happy time. It's rare to have such a crab-filled experience. This restaurant is a paradise for crab lovers! Thank you for the meal. Crab heaven at its finest. [Ice and Snow Gate]
