Oh, the father-daughter Hokkaido tour of Rina started with Genghis Khan, but of course, next is dessert. When asked, "Shall we go to a place where melons are delicious?" the eldest daughter, while saying "Yes! Yes!" also expressed her desire to eat the "lavender soft serve" that she had last year during her father's visit to Hokkaido. Well, since the melon shop and the soft serve shop were right next to each other, we decided to start with melons first... On a Friday afternoon, when I thought the sunflowers were already gone, as soon as we entered the park, the sunflower field caught our eye. The daughters exclaimed, "Wow, it's beautiful!" but being foodies like their dad, they headed straight for the melon sales area. There were quite a few tourists around, and we had to wait in line for about 5-6 groups to place our order. The three of them were debating whether to just get "cut melon" or "greedy melon," but before we knew it, we were already at the register. I wish they had given us a little more time to decide... After this, we immediately thought about eating soft serve, so we restrained ourselves! We ordered two cut melons (300 yen each) and, being a little greedy, I ordered one red and blue cut melon (500 yen). As I savored the red melon, I thought to myself, "Hokkaido really is known for its red-fleshed melons, right?" and I couldn't help but exclaim, "Mmm, it's delicious!" as I stuffed my mouth with melon, making my pronunciation sound funny, much to the amusement of my daughters. ^^ The red-fleshed melon I had next was more ripe and delicious than the typical green one. After quickly finishing our melons, I gave each of my daughters a piece of the green one, confirmed that they agreed with me, and then we took a commemorative photo in front of the sunflower field. Despite being tempted by melon bread, we headed to the neighboring "Tomita Farm" with the father-daughter trio. Perhaps it's normal or not expensive for the locals, but we, as a parent and child, were quite satisfied. Next time we come to Furano, we definitely want to eat there again. ^^/~

At this time of the year (late September), there were only red-fleshed melons available as the blue-fleshed ones were already finished. I knew anything I ate would be delicious, so I tried the classic fresh melon and melon soft serve! The soft serve was unlike regular soft serve, with a rich and milky flavor that can only be found at the farm. The fresh melon was juicy as well. Above the melon shop, there was a shop that processed melons into various sweets. The lineup was fantastic, and I was amazed by the variety of melon treats available. I found the melon bread that I had bought at a Hokkaido product exhibition before, so I purchased that along with a melon souffle cake. Although it was sold out, there were still melon cheesecake, melon roll cake, cake, pudding, and more available. I couldn't resist taking a photo of the melon cream puff that looked delicious. While melon cream-filled bread can be found nationwide, the amount and richness of the cream make it taste better at a Hokkaido product exhibition or in Hokkaido. I am satisfied as I was able to enjoy various melon treats this time. If you have time, there is also an area nearby where you can see flowers, so be sure to check it out as well. ☺️

The restaurant specializes in melons, offering fresh cut melons, a dining area, souvenir corner with processed melon products, a patisserie with melon desserts, and a melon wonderland. While I haven't tried "Cavaillon melon," I have tasted "Furano melon." Is the variety "Tiara"?

I received a 500 yen melon. The orange color is natural and looks very nice. It is not overly soft or ripe, but fresh and sweet. The firmness and sweetness made me believe it was genuine. Surprisingly, it has no connection to the farm next door.

I went to Tomita Melon House around 3:00 PM on September 13th. There weren't many people, so I was able to purchase quickly. The melon soft serve had a rich and delicious melon flavor. Tomita Melon House still maintains its deliciousness. I thought it would be nice if the cream puff had melon fruit inside.

I visited on Saturday afternoon, and there were many tourists judging by the license plates of the cars. The photo shows Yubari melon soft serve ice cream topped with melon chunks. It was very fresh and delicious. It was cool enough to wear short sleeves, but definitely worth trying! Thank you for the meal ☺︎

In the afternoon on a regular day, I visited "Tomita Melon House" next to Tomita Farm in Furano. I went there for the melons, of course! As soon as I entered the store, I saw a large showcase filled with red-fleshed Furano melons. I quickly joined the line at the end to make a purchase. I bought a cut melon for 500 yen. The sweet aroma was rich, and the texture was firm but incredibly sweet! The juice overflowed in my mouth. It was so delicious! There were also many melon desserts available like melon soft-serve ice cream, melon bread, melon omelette, and more. They all looked tempting. Maybe I'll try the melon soft-serve ice cream next time. Furano melons are truly delicious. I prefer them over the ones from Yoichi. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I visited around 10:00 on a regular day. While others were eating cut melon, this time I shared a melon bread and soft serve ice cream. The melon bread had plenty of melon cream inside, and the dough was delicious. The soft serve ice cream was a mix order, with a strong melon flavor and a rich milk soft serve, very delicious. September in Hokkaido was hot, and the cream melted quickly making it difficult to eat, but since it was a hot day, the deliciousness was doubled. Next time, I want to try the cut melon.

Nakafurano area. ◇ Business hours 9:00-17:00 ◇ Regular holiday No regular holidays during the basic period ◇ Parking available, credit cards, electronic money, QR code payment possible I checked the typhoon and weather forecast just before visiting, so I was able to avoid the rain (^O^)/ It's a common thing during this time of year. Even as an adult, I still love melons. I especially love Dekameron ♥ Setting aside the old man-like comments, I visited with quite a tight stomach, but I'll try to manage it well. I've always loved Furano melons, with their vibrant red flesh stealing my heart. It's tough because my wife loves them but is allergic, so I can't buy them often. I purchased: ◆ Smoothie (450 yen) Delicious! The smoothie from Tomita Melon House tastes the most like melon! It's even better because of the fresh air! ◆ Red-fleshed Melon Bread (350 yen) My wife wanted just a bite, so I brought it back. I made sure to keep the bread crispy to avoid moisture. This was also delicious! Not too sweet, it tasted like eating melon flesh in a melon bread. It was very tasty. [Overall evaluation] There are many delicious products like omelets, so next time I want to try more and review them! It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

During a break from sightseeing in Furano, I stopped by a cafe next to the tourist farm "Tomita Farm". I visited around 12:30 on a weekend and was able to purchase the "Melon Omelette" for 550 yen without having to wait. The omelette was fluffy with a generous amount of whipped cream and a mountain of sliced melon on top. It was like a version of the "Whole Strawberry" with an overflowing amount of melon. I don't usually eat melon outside of gifts, so I can't really judge the quality, but it was fresh, sweet, and delicious. The cafe seemed to focus on selling melons and melon-based sweets, while Tomita Farm was more about flower fields and had a cafe attached. This spot is great for buying souvenirs and enjoying melon treats.

I stopped by "Tomita Melon House" on my way to have lunch. I thought it was just a regular melon farm, but it turned out to be a touristy theme park. It was bustling with tourists from both Japan and abroad. I tried the "cut melon" and "mixed soft serve ice cream." The cut melon was thick and had a good balance of sweetness and crunch, it was tastier than I expected. The mixed soft serve ice cream was rich in milk flavor and had just the right amount of melon flavor, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

A popular dessert shop in Furano where you can enjoy plenty of Furano melons. It was a weekday and the lavender season had passed, so there were not many tourists, but during peak times, this shop is incredibly popular with long lines. We tried the cut melon, melon bread, and melon parfait, and ended up eating so much (laughs). Enjoying the local melons in the open sky surrounded by nature was the best. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This is a shop near Farm Tomita that has been selected as one of the top 100 shops. As the name suggests, you can enjoy delicious melons here. In addition to melon-related items, the corn was also very delicious! Be sure to try the melon bread as well ◎

On the second day of our summer vacation trip to Hokkaido, we visited this shop for dessert. Suddenly, my youngest daughter said she wanted to eat orange melon, so we ended up at this shop we happened to find (later realized it was a famous shop!). We tried the mischievous trio of melon, ice cream, and smoothie here, and it was the most delicious melon I have ever had in my life. It was really delicious. Grateful for my daughter's whims. Thank you for the delicious treat.

Visited on 8/21/2023 at 12:55. There was a line of one group in front of the store. There were two empty benches in front of the store. We ordered the "Greedily Melon" (1,800 yen) for three of us. The green melon in the center was soft and sweet, very delicious. The red-fleshed melon on the outside was a bit firmer and a bit difficult to eat with a plastic spoon. We tried to make it look good for social media, but we regretted not just eating the pre-cut melon quietly.

The building was very beautiful, they sell and ship melons. I tried the melon sweets, which included melon smoothie and cut melon. The cut melon was a bit hard and difficult to eat with the small plastic spoon they provided. The taste was not overly sweet, more on the refreshing side. The smoothie was cold and rich in flavor compared to the cut melon. It was a bit hot outside, so the coldness was very pleasant. There were many cut melons displayed, and it seemed like there were fewer customers in the morning compared to the previous day around 2:00 PM. When leaving, there were many tourist buses and rental cars arriving, so it's better to visit early in the day.

The place was crowded with tourists. There were various shops selling melons and other items. Many people were eating half melons in particular. I couldn't decide what to order. I ended up ordering a melon shake, red-fleshed melon soft serve, and a melon smoothie. It was hot, so eating soft serve was difficult. Thank you for the delicious meal.

What is lavender ice cream? I had never eaten lavender before, so I had no idea what to expect when I ordered it. I thought it was just a trendy item, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! It was my first time trying lavender, and it was really tasty. You can pay with PayPay!

The price was very reasonable at 550 yen. The taste was a bit too sweet with the cream overpowering the melon flavor. The choux pastry was soft and chewy. It wasn't to my liking, but it might be worth a try for others!

On the second day of my solo trip to Hokkaido in the summer, I took a day trip bus tour to Furano and Biei. The first place we arrived at was a farm run by the brothers of the owner of Farm Tomita. After visiting Farm Tomita, I was drawn to this place which seemed to compete for attention. They were selling cut melon for a very reasonable price. It was selling like hotcakes, so I lined up and bought one. Even though my sense of money is a bit skewed while traveling, I must say the melon was incredibly sweet and delicious.

Melon cake shop. I had melon cream puff, melon chiffon cake slice, melon, and melon-themed drinks. The Yubari melon was delicious! I searched for Furano tourist attractions on Yahoo but couldn't find any. I visited before taking photos. Will I be discriminated against because I'm a private individual? Parking and admission are free. Many tourist buses and regular cars parked. Is it okay as long as they spend money here?
