I booked in advance at this small, long-established shop! There is a famous Genghis Khan restaurant diagonally in front, with a long line, but the meat here has no smell and you can eat as many pieces as you want! Delicious! I really want to use it again! If you're going to eat Genghis Khan, go here!

When I came to Hokkaido, I really wanted to eat Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue), so I carefully researched and made a reservation to visit this place. It was a good decision to make a reservation! It was fully booked early on, and there were regular customers, foreign tourists, and us. We had raw lamb Genghis Khan and top hormone. I had the impression that lamb would have a strong smell and be tough when cooked, but the lamb here was tender even when cooked, with just a slight smell. It was so delicious that I wanted seconds. The top hormone was also fresh, with no smell and a nice texture. We also had lamb sausages, which were crispy on the outside, lean because they were lamb, but juicy and delicious. If I have the chance to visit Hokkaido again, I would like to eat Genghis Khan here!

Counter seating for 7 people in a small shop. The chef manages everything alone and often finishes before the closing time, so this time I visited right at 6pm when they opened. The menu includes raw lamb Jingisukan, pork hormone, local chicken, and seafood dishes like komai. I ordered: - Draft beer (Premium) 550 yen - Raw lamb Jingisukan (with vegetables) 850 yen - Top hormone 630 yen The raw lamb was thick and tender, paired with a homemade sauce, very delicious! The hormone is grilled on a net, served with a separate shichirin from the Jingisukan pot. The chewy texture is great. It would be perfect if there were a bit more vegetables! I added: - Raw lamb Jingisukan 850 yen - Rice 210 yen Finishing with white rice topped with raw lamb was a blissful moment. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal (^~^)

How many more years can we enjoy the delicious Genghis Khan at this popular restaurant in Susukino where reservations are a must? With the increase in tourists after the end of the pandemic, the restaurant is packed every day, and even regular customers are having trouble getting a seat. The young chef, who looks much younger than his age, is approaching 70 years old. He had originally planned to retire at 70 before the pandemic, but due to the situation, he has extended his retirement. However, it seems to be taking a toll on him. The fresh and delicious vegetables for throwing on the grill, the excellent procurement of raw lamb meat, and the homemade sauce are all outstanding. The counter, which originally had 8 seats, now has 6 seats for infection prevention measures. The homemade coffee shochu, plum wine, and Suntory Meister are available. The chef is generally customer-oriented, but because he is an honest person at heart, he will tell you the current situation of the ingredients if asked. It has been almost 15 years since I started coming here, and I want to continue visiting this restaurant for their delicious Genghis Khan. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

When you go to Sapporo, you'll definitely want to try Genghis Khan once. This time, we visited Kuitei for the first time. We happened to pass by and ended up ordering while asking the chef how much we should order for two people. The Genghis Khan was incredibly delicious. The grilled menu was also extensive, and when you're in Hokkaido, you have to have buttered potatoes. The squid, mushrooms, and vegetables were also delicious. In the end, we couldn't resist ordering the dumplings. Our stomachs were completely full. We had a great time chatting with the chef at the counter and enjoying the delicious food. When I go to Sapporo again, I definitely want to visit Kuitei. Thank you for the meal!

I have had Genghis Khan twice in the past at a ranch-like place, but it was thin and had a strong smell, so I didn't have a good impression. This place was run by only one owner. It seemed like there were only regular customers, but the owner was very polite and attentive to us tourists. The meat tasted like a cross between beef and pork, with just the right amount of fat and no smell at all. It was very delicious, so I was honestly surprised. The thickly sliced lamb meat had a satisfying texture. Two adults ate about 780 yen each for 3 dishes and felt about 90% full. The interior of the restaurant is not non-smoking, but there were people smoking, and I couldn't stay long because the smoke gave me a headache. Other than that, it was a very good restaurant. There is a famous restaurant nearby, but I will come back here next time. Thank you for the meal (^∇^)

The thickly sliced Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) had no unpleasant smell, was incredibly delicious, and I want to come back for more! It was not too fatty, and you could easily eat as much as you want. The chef was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. And the best part is, it's very cheap! I envy the people of Hokkaido for being able to eat something of this quality at such a low price!

After enjoying Jingisukan at "Yamagoya," we decided to continue with more Jingisukan at another place. Even though we had Italian food in between, we ended up back at Jingisukan. It was a fun experience, both of us are die-hard fans of Jingisukan. It has been about 5 years since we did a Jingisukan crawl like this. We chose this restaurant based on intuition, just stumbled upon it while walking. We ordered two servings of Jingisukan with vegetables for a reasonable price of 780 yen. The vegetables included Chinese cabbage, which was a nice touch. We cheers with a highball! Are we here to get drunk or to eat Jingisukan? Well, both (laughs). The taste was easy to enjoy, with thin slices that soaked up the sauce well. The sauce was the classic light soy sauce base, and customizing with condiments was fun. Oh, you're interested in the buttered potatoes? You really like potatoes, huh? But actually, I... Okay, let's order it! The potatoes were fluffy and moist with a rich buttery flavor, it was definitely delicious. However, I felt like it could have used a bit more sweetness and richness in the potatoes. Maybe it's because of the season. "Are you still eating?" "No, I'm full!" "Are you getting drunk?" "That's you... (laughs)" "Oh, I see." Well, my friend's face is pretty red too. On this starry night, maybe we should walk a bit on our way back home.

I was feeling exhausted, so I visited this small restaurant with 8 counter seats just to relax. I've known the owner for over 10 years, and the comfortable distance they keep makes it a great place to unwind. The delicious food and the owner's wonderful personality contribute to the relaxing atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the raw lamb jingisukan, ice-baked fish, fluffy cat food (my all-time favorite), butter, bonito flakes, nori, soy sauce miso soup, flavorful black oolong tea, and green juice. The owner is full of energy, but I hope they continue to take care of their health and keep the restaurant running for a long time. Thank you for today, it was a great meal.

The population of Sapporo at night has been increasing. I am also one of them (laughs). It seems that Susukino's King Mu has reopened, so I enjoyed a relaxing dinner alone at this restaurant with a new Hokkaido-style social distancing while watching the young people march. Even though it's a Monday, Susukino is quiet and lonely. However, let's liven up the atmosphere with the new Hokkaido style. I had dinner at my usual Kuitei. There was a customer before me, but we switched places when I entered, so I was the only one. I had raw lamb Jingisukan with grilled lamb bone and liver. Kuitei served grilled ice fish, a limited quantity dish, for the first time. I finished with non-alcoholic black oolong tea and green juice. The first time trying squid was so fresh that it could be eaten sashimi-style. Lightly seared with ginger soy sauce, delicious. A little seared with mayo and seven spice, sweet and flavorful. If you sear it well, it goes well with sake! Thank you for the healing and delicious experience. Thank you for the meal.

I wasn't in the mood for Genghis Khan two days in a row, but there was no fresh bonito available either (laughs). The only thing left that I hadn't tried was the squid, but unfortunately the customer at the table next to me ordered the last one (tears). Some days just don't go as planned. I ordered the bluefin tuna on the hot plate and homemade plum wine. Did the chef take extra care? The dish came out even more meticulously prepared than usual. It was delicious and I'm grateful. The shellfish was packed full of meat that seemed too big for its size, and the liver was rich and flavorful - truly exquisite. The chef's discerning eye is impressive. The buttered potatoes and salted squid were a perfect match - the fluffy sweetness of the potatoes, the rich butter, and the salty squid balanced each other out perfectly, making it a versatile dish that pairs well with any drink. I wanted to know the situation of my favorite restaurant where the most delicious ice-frozen fish can be eaten in Susukino, so I drove around after work and found it open, so I visited for dinner. I ordered black oolong tea and green juice, no alcohol. We had the classic raw lamb jingisukan for two, as well as heart and gizzard ice-frozen fish grilled. The fresh meat with vegetables was amazing in texture and taste! Maybe even better than usual. The master's discerning eye must have brought in good ingredients this season. While other restaurants' ice-frozen fish tends to be dry and tough when cooked, the ice-frozen fish here was soft and fluffy! The special mayo sauce paired perfectly with it, even better than poorly cooked high-end fish. Despite being frozen, the master's cooking skills turned it into a delicious grilled fish. On the way back home, I stopped by a restaurant and asked for their recommended seafood dish. They suggested scallops, which were thick, juicy, and surprisingly large. They were delicious. To boost my immune system, I also had some pan-fried dumplings and garlic. Lately, I've been enjoying leaving the cooking to the chef rather than grilling my own food. I had the restaurant's homemade coffee shochu and plum wine, and finished with a refreshing highball. It was all delicious. Though it's still cold outside, I'll make sure to take care of my health. When I think about it, going to Kuitei is not just about eating Genghis Khan, but about visiting the owner. Of course, the food, including the Genghis Khan, is delicious, but even when I can't drink alcohol because I'm driving, or when I'm already full, I still go. I even go multiple times in one day, shifting my schedule to get a seat, and I go even when the restaurant is closed on my day off because I can't help but worry. Surrounded by famous Genghis Khan restaurants, this place offers a variety of satisfying dishes, not just Genghis Khan. I couldn't make a year-end greeting, so I visited the restaurant for a New Year's greeting. It's amazing how time flies, as it's been over a month since my last visit. During that time, a seasonal gift from Hokkaido, pickled herring, made its debut! The baton has been passed from the master's mother to his sister-in-law, and I finally received the 3rd year's creation. It has improved significantly in taste compared to the 1st and 2nd years. Since there is a limited quantity, I will go back to eat it again soon. The grilled gyoza at Asako, which is consistently delicious and reliable, is the best. Looking forward to another great year.
