My son was supposed to have dinner with a girl on Christmas Eve. However, she canceled last minute and he suddenly said, "I'll just eat at home on Christmas Eve," so he made a reservation for us instead. We had planned a home party for the 25th, so we couldn't change the cake pickup. We had a fun Christmas Eve, but maybe we overdid it because I cooked a lot to accommodate my son who eats a lot, and now I feel extremely exhausted. So, what should we do on December 25th? I don't feel like doing anything. It's tough even at work, and I feel like I'll fall asleep if I relax. During my break, I looked at various delivery services to try and keep costs down as much as possible. I wondered if the half-price takeout offer would apply on Christmas as well, and when I checked, it was okay. Pizza and cake go well together, right? I suddenly felt energized. Since I'm old school, when I used to order pizza, I would check the newspaper ads and call, but it seems that's no longer the case. I ordered online with just a click. I felt relieved that there was no stress about whether the order was communicated properly, and I thought it would be crowded because it's Christmas, but it was stress-free to just pick up and go. Personally, I found the website easy to navigate, and I was happy that I could make a reservation during a short break. I ordered the "Chef's Supervised Ultimate Quattro" in the R size, which includes the same flavor in 2 slices x 4 varieties. I ordered 2 of the same kind. Since it was half-price takeout, the price was 1,699 yen (excluding tax) for one slice, and 3,669 yen (including tax) for two slices. The four varieties of Quattro were: 1. Roast Chicken and Hokkaido Camembert 2. Plump Shrimp & Fluffy Lobster Sauce 3. Smoked Turkey and 5 Rich Cheese Sauce 4. Open-fire Grilled Steak and Garlic combination. Let's dig in. Overall, it's not greasy, and my hands didn't get sticky, so I think the calorie count is probably moderate. So, if you convince yourself it's low in calories, your brain might be tricked into thinking that even pizza is low-calorie. The crust is a bit hard near the edges, not because it's cold, but it's just crispy to begin with. Personally, I find the hardness tiring to chew. The toppings are not chunky and large, but they are delicious. The plump shrimp has a gentle taste that kids would like. The open-fire grilled steak has a strong garlic flavor. The smoked turkey has a typical pizza cheese taste. I made a mistake choosing the roast chicken, as I had it yesterday. It was delicious, but I'm a bit tired of it now. I think it's a good value for money because it's half-price, but if it were for delivery, I would feel it's expensive as it would exceed 7,000 yen. If the half-price takeout offer is always available, I might order again for unexpected situations. The times have become convenient. Thank you for the meal.
