美~味し食之介
In April 2023 at 10:50 AM, I visited a famous restaurant known for its large portions that has been a hot topic among YouTubers. I arrived at 8:30 AM and received a waiting ticket. The restaurant starts giving out about 30 tickets in front of the store at 7 AM. As the opening time (10:30 AM) approached, a female staff member came out and called out the numbers in order. The first round called up to about the 10th spot, with spots 10-12 inside the store and 13 and beyond waiting outside. There are seats for 6 people in the waiting area. Those who tried to line up without a ticket were told they would have to wait for 3 hours. Saturdays are usually busy, but today was said to be exceptionally crowded. The first group was finally able to sit at around 11:25 AM, about an hour after opening. The restaurant has 8 counter seats and two 4-person table seats in a raised area. At 11:45 AM, I was seated at one of the table seats and ordered the pork cutlet curry and fried rice. In the kitchen, the owner was cooking while an elderly woman assisted, and a young woman efficiently served the customers. It was mentioned that they can only make fried rice in batches of 2. The sound of the cooking was quite pleasing to the ears. Finally, at 12:30 PM, the food was served. The fried rice had an overwhelming visual impact, with simple ingredients such as pork, green onions, and eggs. It was more moist than dry, and the plentiful pork was incredibly tender and flavorful. It was very delicious. The pork cutlet curry had a crispy cutlet and a rich, flavorful curry sauce, which paired excellently. However, the fried rice was so impressive that it overshadowed the curry. The "pork belly chashu ramen" had a thick, tender pork belly chashu covering the noodles in the broth, which was randomly served in soy sauce, miso, or salt flavors, and this time it was miso and salt. The quality of the ramen soup was high, with the miso being rich and flavorful, and the salt being a delicious, flavorful ramen. I personally really liked the salt flavor. I couldn't finish the fried rice, so I had it as a takeout (container cost 40 yen). Even when I ate it at home, it was still delicious. Thank you for the meal♪♪
