A year has passed without me realizing it. I found out about the Seafood Roll Stack, Double Special Tuna Sushi, Simmered Mackerel, Eel, Seasonal Chawanmushi, Tuna and Egg, Small Natto Roll, and Lunch Set. I also learned about a discount card called the Senior Card.

I visited Sushiro for lunch at 13:00. It was past the main lunch rush so it was relatively empty and we were seated without waiting. The freshness of the fish was good. The first tuna dish I ordered seemed to be medium fatty tuna, but the second one was just regular. Did they make a mistake with my order? One of the characteristics of Sushiro is the small rice portion. It might be just right for me to eat two at a time. For those who prefer regular-sized sushi, it might be a bit lacking. However, you can enjoy a variety of different types of fish, allowing you to taste different flavors at once. Overall, I felt that Sushiro's lunchtime offers a good balance of price and quality, making it a recommended time to visit.

When you feel like eating affordable conveyor belt sushi, head to Sushiro. I have been to Sushiro quite a lot in Tokyo. The system and sushi toppings remain the same, but the interior of the restaurant is clean. Maybe people are a bit careless in Tokyo? Since the incident, the sushi doesn't rotate, but the efficient system is excellent.

This time they had a special event called "Melting Neta Collection! Uni and Toro Festival". I was excited to see what kind of sushi they had. First, I started with a glass of sake priced at 430 yen. Let's order a variety of dishes to try: - Rich uni wrap @180 yen - Clam-packed wrap @120 yen - Large cut tuna @120 yen - Jumbo toro salmon @120 yen - Fresh salmon @180 yen - Live yellowtail toro @180 yen - Cod milt @180 yen - Torched conger eel @180 yen - Spicy miso ramen 3 spicy @460 yen - Salted cod @180 yen - Live scallop @360 yen - Snow crab @360 yen - Fried octopus @310 yen - French fries @130 yen This festival was quite enjoyable. 2023/01/12 Revisited the place. I found out that Sushiro is currently running a campaign offering a 10% discount on dining in the restaurant, so I decided to have lunch there today. It's a bit early, but I wanted to avoid the crowds, so I visited before it got busy. Since it's a weekday, the restaurant wasn't too crowded despite the ongoing campaign. I placed my order using the touch panel. - Jumbo fatty salmon (1 piece): The right amount of fat, very delicious. - Live amberjack fatty (1 piece): A bit too fatty for my taste, a bit too rich. - Large clam: Great crunchy texture, very tasty. - Today's seafood marinated dish: A new item? It's a battleship sushi with various toppings, a delicious combination of flavors. - Hokkaido sea urchin (1 piece): I always go for Hokkaido products without hesitation. The balance of marination is good, with a nice popping texture. Despite the recent price hikes due to poor fishing conditions and high import prices, the quality and price offered here left me very satisfied. It was delicious. Thank you. I have been to many revolving sushi chains before, but this was my first time at Sushiro. It was a challenge for me, so I decided to give it a try. I mainly ordered blue fish like sardines. The freshness was not much different from other 100 yen sushi chains. It was good that they had a decent lineup of blue fish. However, some of the items I ordered seemed to have been taken by the person in front of me, so I had to reorder 5 plates... It seemed like there was someone with the same taste as me, but honestly, it was a bit sad. Thank you for the meal. Whether to put it on the conveyor belt or deliver it through a special lane... I thought that having it delivered through a special lane was reassuring.

Revisited on 10/19/2022. Recently, the Sushiro chain increased their prices. I visited the usual Sushiro Sapporo Shiroishi store for lunch today, hoping that the increase in price would come with an improvement in taste. It's lunchtime, but it doesn't feel as crowded as before. Maybe it's due to the price increase? Here are some reviews of the items I ordered: - Large shrimp: The crunchy texture and large size make it delicious. (^O^) - Tekka maki: The tuna seems tastier than before. (^O^) - Salted and pickled sardine with green onions and ginger: The green onions and ginger complement the oily fish, creating a refreshing taste. Yes, it's delicious. (^O^) - Medium fatty tuna: Satisfyingly delicious. (^O^) - Fresh salmon: Satisfying in appearance and taste. Yes, delicious. (^O^) The bill did feel a bit higher than before, but sushi is a meal that is naturally a bit pricey, so it doesn't bother me too much. Sushiro is still delicious. I will continue to visit. Sushiro in Honshu is unbeatable when it comes to conveyor belt sushi, but in Hokkaido... the soup curry restaurant I was looking forward to was temporarily closed. In front of it, there was a Sushiro. However, it was just an ordinary Sushiro, lacking any excitement. It's just an average 100 yen sushi restaurant. It doesn't even compare to the local 100 yen sushi places in Hokkaido. Especially the mackerel, you can tell it's straight from the package and lacks the freshness and vibrancy of delicious fresh fish. Maybe the ingredients are the same nationwide, but I've never had sushi like this at a Sushiro in Honshu. It's probably just a matter of that extra touch after taking it out of the package, but I wish they would at least serve something on par with what you'd find in Honshu.

It is becoming a regular visit spot. Noticed that some of the limited-time menu items were sold out. The only one left was the fatty tuna for 100 yen, leaning more towards medium fatty tuna. The mackerel pike, which was not available last time, is better than usual. The baby squid also has a good texture. Is there yam in the okra natto dish? The chawanmushi is delicious and piping hot. I often have sushi for lunch on holidays with my wife. Sushi is something we both love, so we usually go to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant because it's convenient. We rarely have any unvisited conveyor belt sushi restaurants left, except for one near the train station called "Hanamaru" that always has a long line. We finally decided to try a different one, "Sushiro Sapporo Shiroishi Store," located along Route 12 in Shiroishi, Sapporo. It was crowded during lunchtime, but we got a table after a short wait. We ordered various types of sushi such as tuna, salmon, whelk, cured mackerel, mackerel sushi rolls, seared salmon, abalone, herring roe, and chawanmushi. The sushi was affordable and decent, with the standout being the thick and fatty mackerel sushi rolls. The total bill for two people was around 2,000 yen. We always find this place to be a good value for money and will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant was extremely crowded on Saturday night and the weekend. It seemed like they were rushing to make the sushi rice in the back. The rice was warm and kept falling apart, making it difficult to eat and not feel like you were really eating sushi. The good thing about Sushiro is that you can feel like you're eating sushi for just 100 yen per plate. If that is taken away, then it's no longer worth going to Sushiro. I would be happy to go to a nearby ramen shop or any other restaurant instead.

I sometimes crave Sushiro (^^) This time, I ordered 'Large Tsubugai' x2, 'Creamy Blowfish Shirako Tempura', 'Creamy Beltfish Tempura Nigiri', 'Blowfish Skin Yubiki', 'Natural Sea Bream Nigiri', 'Large Awabi 2 Pieces', 'Live Scallop', 'Blowfish Comparison', 'Large Fatty King Salmon', 'Large Tsubugai' x2, 'Tetchiri Ramen', 'Large Live Snow Crab & Crab Miso Salad', 'Scallop Pillar', and 'Nostalgic Melon Sherbet' in order. I visit this place regularly. I made a seat reservation via LINE in advance. Despite the 16:30 reservation, there was a wait of over 20 minutes. They had Highball, Toro, Squid, Fresh mackerel, Tachi, Fresh sake, Engawa, Shime saba, Snow crab chawanmushi, Potato fry, Natto roll, and Seafood potato salad. I couldn't tell what kind of seafood was in the seafood potato salad. The flavors were consistent today. There were times when they couldn't take orders. Many of the dishes served had sloppy presentation. (Nov 2021)

Sushiro's big sale! Double the rewards! It's great! Although the Higashinaoho store is closer, I came to the Shiroishi store. Because they are completely different. The rice at Higashinaoho is not good. The vinegar is weak, cold, hard, and falls apart. The medium fatty tuna and salmon are huge! And if it's 2 pieces for 100 yen, I'm very satisfied! The shrimp is 150 yen, but it's big! If it were at Triton, they would probably charge three times as much (lol). When you compare the taste, it's different, but in terms of cost performance, it's totally good! A win! The 3 pieces of shellfish are good with red clam and the chub mackerel is delicious too (don't need onions, though). The tuna tataki is difficult to eat (lol). In terms of cost performance, I'm very satisfied!

I went to Sushiro in Hongo-dori 11-chome. They were having a uni (sea urchin) wrap fair that day, so I went specifically for that. After eating sushi, I also want to have ramen later, so I just had a light meal at Sushiro. It was crowded as always, with families, couples, and solo diners all lining up. I ordered 6 plates - 2 uni wraps, salmon, tuna, shrimp tempura, and sardine. There was a little trouble with one of the orders not coming out, but they made up for it. The uni was okay for the price, but the salmon and sardine were really delicious with a nice fatty taste. Sometimes there are lower quality items, but you can usually tell from the start, so just avoid ordering those. Overall, it's a good and popular conveyor belt sushi place, with value for money and popular among the general public. Thank you for the meal.

For just 100 yen, you can get 2 pieces of sushi - it's like heaven! Some people complain about the taste, the machine-made rice, or the size, but those people are banned from Sushiro. If you're looking for the cheapest option, just quietly find another non-conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Despite that, you can't beat the value at Sushiro - even if you order a lot, you won't spend over 3,000 yen. I once challenged myself to see how many plates I could eat, and I managed 26 plates. It's a great place where you can spend time deciding which plate to choose. The quality of the sushi at Sushiro is worth more than 100 yen, but the real charm of places like Sushiro is not in the sushi itself, but in the experience. On the day of this photo, they had an endless hamachi (yellowtail) promotion. It was so much fun.
