New Chitose Airport's domestic 3rd floor houses a ramen theme park called "Hokkaido Ramen Dojo". There are 10 famous ramen shops from Hokkaido lined up, open from morning till night. Among them, "Keyaki" is a very popular shop. The main store is located in the heart of Susukino, Sapporo's entertainment district, known for having long lines even late at night. Whenever I come to Hokkaido, I always make sure to visit "Keyaki". Before leaving Hokkaido, I went all out with toppings, ordering even the "Rice for 180 yen" to make sure I have no regrets (laughs). The large chashu catches your eye. The marinated egg with the "Keyaki" logo. Underneath the green onions are stir-fried vegetables hidden. The aura is just overwhelming (*'∀'*) [Soup] A rich miso flavor with a bit of lard. The broth consists of genkotsu, pork bone, back fat, chicken, various vegetables, dried shiitake mushrooms, and more. As long as the noodles are not bad, there is no way it could taste bad with the versatile seasoning miso and lard-fried vegetables. It was well-prepared and tasty as expected from a well-known restaurant. Toppings like garlic chives and chili oil enhance the sweetness of the miso, making it more delicious than the classic buttered corn topping.

I waited in line for about 15 minutes to get in. Most of the menu items were miso-based ramen. The portions were generous, and no matter how much I ate, it didn't seem to decrease. It was slightly spicy, maybe? The corn butter flavor made it taste mild. The noodles were chewy and slightly thick.

I came to Hokkaido for work, but for the past 3 days I haven't had much Hokkaido-style food. I decided to try miso ramen at the airport before heading back. It's a taste that's not very familiar in Kansai, but it's really delicious. I like that it has a lot of vegetables in it!

Miso ramen It was past 8 o'clock so I was able to go in without waiting in line. The soup had a delicious combination of vegetable flavor and miso, and I was happy to see lots of my favorite green onions. The curly noodles were just right, and I finished it in no time. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at Chitose Airport and luckily Ramen Dojo was not crowded, so I decided to go to this restaurant that I had been wanting to try. There are various shops at Chitose Airport such as Shikabasanso, Ichigen, and Sapporo Hien, and all of them are exceptional. However, this time at Keyaki, even though the colors of the shoyu and miso ramen seemed salty, they were surprisingly light and flavorful. The classic miso ramen was also delicious with plenty of vegetables and a rich miso aroma. When visiting Hokkaido, there is never enough time to enjoy ramen, so I recommend using the spare time at the airport's Ramen Dojo to indulge in some delicious ramen.

I used it before departure on a regular day, after 7 PM. There were about 6 people waiting in line, and the cooking time was relatively slow compared to other stores, so I waited 15 minutes to get in. I ordered miso butter corn ramen and gyoza. The combination of butter, corn, and minced meat was excellent and made me feel relieved. Rating other than taste: Service ⭕️, Atmosphere ⭕️

It had been about half a year since I last visited Hokkaido, and every time I come, I always eat miso ramen, but this time I tried Keyaki for the first time. I arrived at the airport in the early afternoon, thinking there wouldn't be much of a line yet, but every store had a queue. I decided to line up before I starved to death while traveling to Sapporo. After about 30 minutes, I got in and the beer was incredibly delicious! The gyoza and miso ramen were also very tasty. I regret not trying them before.

It's 2:15 PM on September 1, 2023, at New Chitose Airport. Hello, it's Kamenn! I visited the long-awaited Kayaki's miso ramen shop at the airport. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I was able to enter. I ordered the miso ramen with chashu, added corn as a topping, and also added gyoza. The noodles were to my liking, and I prefer the chashu to be more tender. The corn was also good. The gyoza was average. It's a shame they didn't have fried rice this time. Thank you for the meal!

The last meal in Hokkaido was at New Chitose Airport. I wanted to go to a restaurant in town that was on my list, but I ran out of time. I ended up at Ramen Dojo in New Chitose Airport, where many famous Hokkaido ramen shops have branches. It was crowded with lots of people, showing how popular ramen is in Hokkaido. I tried the Butter Corn Ramen in miso flavor, which is the most popular dish here and probably a classic. The miso soup was relatively light, and when combined with butter, it had a nice richness. The old-fashioned miso butter corn flavor was delicious. The noodles were the typical transparent medium-thick curly noodles often seen in Hokkaido. Even though I ordered a half portion, it seemed like there was about 80% of a full portion. The main store in Susukino probably has even higher quality. It was tasty. However, I was bothered by the dirty ladle, as you can see in the photo, which significantly lowered my satisfaction. The service itself was friendly and good, but if my satisfaction is affected this much, I decided that I will ask the staff to replace it in the future.

Last night, after enjoying delicious Japanese cuisine and sake with my son's fiancé's parents, we had a fun conversation and headed back to Osaka. We arrived at New Chitose Airport after 10 pm, and my wife went souvenir shopping while I went to try out some ramen. Since it was a weekday and still before 11 am, there were many shops without a line. However, when I tried to go to the popular Ebi Ramen shop "Ichigen," there was a long line of about 30 people, so I gave up. Instead, I tried another shop with a line of about 10 people, called "Keyaki." I waited for about 30 minutes before being seated. I ordered miso ramen, and when I took the first sip of the soup, it was delicious with a rich miso flavor. The curly medium-thick noodles were excellent and had a chewy texture that went well with the soup. The vegetables like cabbage and green onions were tasty, and the minced meat in the soup added a nice texture. I couldn't help but finish the soup completely. I was very satisfied and enjoyed the meal. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I took my sister to New Chitose Airport and ended up coming back to Kehiki in the Ramen Dojo! It was busy as usual today! We waited for about 15 minutes in front of the restaurant, then we were seated at the counter. I ordered the miso ramen (extra large) and it arrived in about 15 minutes. The flavor was rich, but not as strong as I expected. It was packed with green onions and minced meat, and the extra large portion was quite filling! I enjoyed three days of ramen in a row. When I told my sister I was going to eat ramen before going home, she gave me 1000 yen! Thank you, sis! I'll come back again next year in January for our father's third memorial service. The store opens at 10:00, but when I arrived around 9:50 on Sunday, there was already a line forming. When the store opened, more people lined up, so if you go in the morning, it might be better to line up before opening. The miso ramen with lots of ingredients was very delicious! The noodles were curly and the service was quick.

The ramen is a regular Sapporo miso ramen. The soup is slightly thick with a rich flavor (strong in saltiness). The noodles are medium thick and twisted, absorbing the soup well. The vegetables and ground meat topping complement each other nicely. It was very delicious. I waited for about 20 minutes. I wouldn't normally wait in line in Tokyo or Yokohama, but due to what I wanted to eat, the location, and time constraints, I had no choice. However, I didn't regret it. It's not just about the taste. Unlike other places that quickly seat strangers together at empty tables, this place seats groups together and provides ample space between tables. They even sanitized not just the tables but also the chairs. The service was very polite. Note: Regarding my reviews about ramen shops, I think it's a disadvantage for ramen shops to be on gourmet websites. In my opinion, regardless of the food, if the scores are the same, the ratings should be the same. This means that a score of 5 is unattainable when considering the level of service and the costs involved in maintaining the restaurant. Please consider 3.5 as the highest score for my ramen shop reviews.

Arrived in Hokkaido for the first day of my trip, visiting for lunch. It's a late summer vacation, traveling with my family to Hokkaido. I've been to Aomori, Kyoto, Shikoku, and Kyushu before, but this is my first time in Hokkaido. I've been planning this trip for a few months, eager to eat all the Hokkaido gourmet food. After landing at New Chitose Airport, our first meal was on the agenda. We plan to try all three of Hokkaido's major ramen types, starting with miso ramen. We were a bit indecisive about which restaurant to choose in Sapporo, so we decided to eat at the airport considering our later plans. It was a Sunday lunchtime, and all the ramen shops at the airport's "Ramen Dojo" were packed! The lines were so long that it was difficult to walk past others on the street. We started lining up before 1 pm and finished eating after 2 pm. Hokkaido's miso ramen is known for its rich sumi base, but having tried it a few times in Tokyo and Sendai, we opted for a different style this time. The soup was packed with lard and the sweetness of the vegetables, with the characteristic yellow curly noodles of Sapporo miso ramen. The vegetables were perfectly stir-fried, and the coarsely ground meat had its own unique flavor. Personally, I was most impressed by the handling and stir-frying of the vegetables. There were some minor issues with the service, but I'll skip over that. Overall, it was a deliciously prepared vegetable miso ramen, which I enjoyed thoroughly. On a side note, when passing by the main branch in Susukino around 10 pm that night, there was still a line of about 30 people, even though it was a Sunday (sweat). Susukino's ability to attract customers is truly impressive.

Popular famous shop Keyaki at New Chitose Airport. Classic Sapporo miso ramen that has been around for a long time, with plenty of ingredients and a simple soup. I visited because it is said to be a popular ramen in Hokkaido, but personally, I wanted a little more variation or twist in the taste. Recommended for those who want to taste traditional Sapporo-style miso ramen.

I ate at a ramen alley-like place at New Chitose Airport just before getting on the plane. Keiyaki and Ichigen were full of energy. Luckily, I managed to get in without waiting as it was 10 am. It must be chaotic during lunchtime. The hot soup was filled with plenty of well-cooked vegetables. I savored the unique curly noodles bit by bit. The miso soup was delicious. It made me want to drink it all up. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on a regular evening. There were about 3 groups ahead of me and I waited for about 20 minutes before getting seated. I ordered the miso ramen for 980 yen, which had plenty of ground meat and vegetables. It might be perfect for those who don't like rich miso flavor, but I found it a bit lacking in taste. The restaurant was quite hot inside.

Before departing in the morning, I was debating on which Hokkaido ramen shop to visit in the airport area, as each shop has slightly different opening hours. Since I haven't had ramen in Sapporo yet, I decided to line up at Keyaki for Sapporo miso ramen. I ordered the miso corn butter ramen. There were about 10 people in line, but the staff were very efficient and the turnover was smooth. Authentic miso ramen is really delicious. The butter in the soup goes well with it. It was a taste that I really liked.

Before leaving Hokkaido, I really wanted to eat ramen, so I had it at New Chitose Airport. The famous Ebi Ramen Ichigen had a huge line. The length of the line varied depending on the store. I thought about the time and considered going to a different restaurant without waiting, but since I was there, I decided to wait in line for Keyaki. I was worried about the boarding process time and the kids were getting tired... I thought maybe it was a mistake, but the staff kindly offered to hold our belongings during the wait, so we were able to enjoy our meal in a refreshing mood. However, I couldn't relax and eat slowly because I was still worried about the time. It was a taste that made me feel like, "I'll work hard and come back to Hokkaido again."

The aroma of miso is very good, and the balance with the flavored oil is excellent. There is a generous amount of vegetables and green onions on top, which is nice. It is cooked in an iron pot, so it stays piping hot from start to finish, which is great. The additional order of rice was also delicious.
