- No shoes allowed inside, please take them off at the entrance. - Electronic cigarettes are allowed, regular cigarettes must be smoked outside by the entrance while enjoying the view of the sea. - Table charge: ¥200 - Happy Hour: From 12 to 5 PM, get ¥100 off on drinks. - Mega Jockey available: Pay double the regular price for 2.5 times the amount of drink. - The special black pork dish is incredibly delicious! - The interior of the restaurant is decorated with red and black, creating a cool atmosphere. - They also serve pasta, pork bowl, and pork yakisoba, so even if you're not drinking, you can enjoy a meal. - They have a contract with fishermen from Takashima Fishing Port nearby, so you can enjoy fresh fish from Otaru. - For more details, check out the restaurant's Instagram page! - A review by the boss of Otaru on Instagram caught my attention, making me even more curious about this place. - With the family heading to Yunohana, we decided to make a secret plan to visit this place halfway through. - After spending two and a half hours in the bath and sauna, feeling completely refreshed, we decided to take a walk around the area. - Walking up the steep hill next to Yunohana, we were greeted by cherry blossoms in bloom. - The hill was challenging, but the view of the sea in Otaru was soothing. - Worried about not being able to contact the restaurant, we continued our climb with determination. - Finally reaching the entrance, we were surprised to see dried fish hanging there and had to take off our shoes before entering. - Smoking only allowed for electronic cigarettes was unexpected. - The red and black interior of the restaurant was stylish and calming. - We started with a Highball for ¥400, which was strong and delicious. - We also ordered the special black pork dish for ¥400, which was incredibly flavorful and tender. - We couldn't resist ordering another round of Highball and even tried the Mega Highball for ¥800. - The macaroni salad as a table charge was light and refreshing, a nice break from the rich pork dish. - We also tried the enoki bacon for ¥400, which was seasoned perfectly and enjoyed by the bacon lover in our group. - Overall, the food was delicious, and we are curious to try more dishes, especially the pork yakisoba. - Despite some minor disappointments, such as the lack of calorie-free options, we had a great time enjoying the food and the view of the sea.

The entrance was cluttered with shoes, and when asked if we should take off our shoes before entering, we were told to please take off our shoes. They were running out of rice, so we ordered pasta instead. We had originally planned to order pasta, so we ordered Peperoncino, Spicy Bolognese, and Devil's Red Pasta. First, the Spicy Potatoes were brought to us. They were long and spicy. Next came the Peperoncino and Spicy Bolognese. The Peperoncino was normal, but the Spicy Bolognese had a lot of meat and was extremely spicy. We were the only customers, but even after we finished eating, the Devil's Red Pasta was not brought to us. Maybe they made them in the wrong order? We chatted while drinking the Ginger Ale that came with the pasta. The Iced Coffee was like a slightly sweet bottled coffee, and they didn't ask if we needed milk or syrup. In the end, the Devil's Red Pasta was the most delicious. It was like a tomato soup pasta, not spicy at all, so don't worry. I felt that all three pasta dishes lacked a bit of saltiness. Coming at night and ordering multiple appetizers to go with drinks might be a good idea.

In April 2023, I visited a new bar in Teppu, Otaru City, which felt like a secret base. The location is on the slope known as "Umayanokozaka" near Yunohana, with a parking lot next to the store. The young owner came from Nagoya four years ago and now operates mainly here in Otaru. You can enjoy sake during the day, and besides sake, they also serve pasta. This time, I tried the Genovese pasta (800 yen) with a soft drink included. The pasta had a slightly firm texture with a chewy feel, showing some creativity in the way it was cooked. The sauce had a good balance of garlic and finely chopped pine nuts (with a texture like potatoes), adding a nice accent. The saltiness was quite subtle, making it a surprisingly authentic Genovese dish. The recommended pasta is apparently the "Devil's Red Pasta," which is not spicy but more like a tomato-based sauce. Although they currently do not have a lunch menu, they plan to introduce it in the future. They also occasionally offer seafood caught at the nearby Takashima fishing port and plan to serve barbecue in the summer with tables outside for guests to enjoy the view of the sea. Additionally, they offer paid accommodation (1,000 yen) for those who come by car and want to stay overnight after drinking. This makes it possible for people from outside Otaru to enjoy a drink here with like-minded friends. With Yunohana nearby for bathing and sauna, this seems like an interesting place, and I look forward to what they have in store for the future!
