The red bean paste is a little too sweet! I bought a taiyaki on my way home yesterday, planning to eat it for breakfast today. While looking forward to it all night, after just one bite in the morning, I thought, "Wow, it's so sweet! Too sweet!" I managed to eat about half of it, but couldn't finish the rest. What a shame.

I wanted to eat taiyaki, so I visited this place after about a year. This time, I ordered 3 taiyaki with red bean paste filling and 3 taiyaki with cream filling. I remember they were delicious when I ate them last time, so I came back again. The red bean paste is tasty, but I still prefer the cream filling. I want to come back to buy more. Thank you for the meal!٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Before working on a holiday on Saturday, I wanted to eat something sweet and stopped by Sapporo Fukuya. It is located near the entrance of the underground mall Pole Town, just outside the exit of Odori Subway Station. It is right next to Hiroshi, a popular meeting spot in Sapporo. This time, I bought the "Cream Taiyaki (180 yen)" and "Small Red Bean Taiyaki (170 yen)". The taiyaki was really good, and the writing on the paper bag was interesting. It said, "Not sold at a fish store. Both parents and children are the same size from head to tail. Full of red bean paste, no bones." It was delicious and enjoyable.

I bought taiyaki from here a few times in November 2022 and brought it to my parents' house. It's a traditional taiyaki in a box - it's the first time I've seen boxed taiyaki! I bought four taiyaki with red bean paste. They were easy to buy at 150 yen each. When I tried them, they were simply delicious. The taiyaki here always has long lines, but it's worth it. Thank you for the delicious meal!

On my way from the main street through Port Town towards Susukino, I came across Fukuya's storefront selling my favorite Haru bread, so I immediately stopped by and made a purchase! I had almost given up on buying it as it was always sold out when I passed by during the day, so I was surprised to see it still available (unsold) in the evening. It had been a few months since my last purchase, so I was a little excited. I started enjoying Haru bread from the next day onwards!

I was looking for a quick sweet treat near Daito Station and came across BM. I decided to try the cream flavor. The cream was slightly whitish in color, with a good level of sweetness but relatively light. It was not too rich, making me crave a drink after a bite. The crust didn't stand out, but I thought it was a nice snack for when you're feeling a bit peckish.

I finally visited a place I was curious about. It's been a while since I had taiyaki!! This time, I ordered 3 with 'anko' (sweet red bean paste) and 3 with cream. I'm going to take them home right away. The taiyaki is delicious♫ Both the anko and cream are tasty! I thought I bought too much, but they disappeared in no time (・_・;) I want to go buy more again. Thank you for the meal٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

As soon as I got out of the ticket gate, I stumbled upon this place and went in. I bought a cream and red bean taiyaki for 150 yen each. The taiyaki had a thick castella dough. It was quite filling and delicious. It's cheap, tasty, and conveniently located near the station. There were quite a few customers coming in frequently.

On a certain holiday, I remembered a place I had not visited yet and rushed into a shop located near the Paul Town front gate of the Odori Subway Station. They sell taiyaki as well. The shop is compact but displays a variety of snacks on the shelves and products from Ekorin Village in Eniwa City in the refrigerated case. From the menu that day, I chose a "Taiyaki with red bean paste filling (150 yen)" which was thick and satisfying, with a slightly darker colored dough and sweet red bean paste filling. I also tried the "Tsukiji roasted green tea (152 yen)" which was caffeine-free and had a light and refreshing taste. The "Spicy Kinako (roasted soybean flour) Senbei (350 yen)" had a unique spicy-sweet flavor that was interesting. Lastly, I tried the "Kona Yukitonton Pork Jerky (399 yen)" which had a noticeable amount of fat and a rich flavor. Overall, it was a unique shop where I could try different and interesting snacks. Thank you for the meal.

There is a taiyaki shop right by the ticket gates at Odori Subway Station. It always smells so good! Today's lineup includes red bean paste, white bean paste, and cream taiyaki. I ordered the cream one. It was fluffy and warm. The texture was chewy like the traditional ones. It was satisfying with just the right amount of cream. I enjoyed it!

◆Sapporo Fukuya (taiyaki) in Sapporo City, located in the underground shopping area of Odori Station, Paul Town. I passed by this shop many times, but this was my first visit. I bought a taiyaki for my 3 o'clock snack. I'm not a big fan of red bean paste, so I chose cream for ¥150. The taiyaki has a thick, traditional dough that is delicious on its own. The cream was just okay. Taiyaki is mostly filled with red bean paste, right? The first taiyaki I ever had, I think it was from a shop inside Shibuya Station (about 48 years ago when I was around 3 years old). It had custard filling. Since then, custard has been my standard for taiyaki. Custard filling is apparently harder to make than red bean paste, which is why most places use red bean paste. But I still prefer custard. It goes well with the dough from Sapporo Fukuya.

"Sapporo Fukuya" in Sapporo, it's been a while. I had some time before my meeting, so I decided to go somewhere nearby. I found a new shop on the way to Mitsukoshi. When I arrived at Mitsukoshi, I saw "Fukuya" written on my note. I didn't realize it was here. The shop seemed popular with three women inside. I ordered a taiyaki with white bean paste and red bean paste instead of cream. The taiyaki was quite heavy. I heard that white bean paste in taiyaki is rare. The thickness of the dough was uneven, thicker on the sides. The white bean paste was sweet and delicious. The red bean paste was less sweet and had a grainy texture. The dough was surprisingly not too thick. Overall, the taiyaki had an old-fashioned feel to it, with a heavy texture and thick skin. I used to dislike taiyaki as a child because of the skin, but I've grown to enjoy it more recently. This particular taiyaki was a bit challenging for me."

I went to Sapporo Fukuya! It was my first visit. It's not a clothing store, but a shop that sells taiyaki and bento boxes. It's located in Pole Town so you often see it around. Today, I bought taiyaki with red bean paste and cream. The skin was thick. I prefer thinner skin, so it was a bit hard to eat. The cream was included as well. However, it was quite filling and heavy. It even served as breakfast the next morning. Thank you Sapporo Fukuya for the delicious meal!

There is a taiyaki shop near the entrance of the Paul Town at the Odori Koen Subway Station. They also sell bento boxes and snacks. I used to visit this shop occasionally during my student days. The taiyaki here has a thick traditional dough, which is why I haven't been here for a while as I prefer thinner taiyaki. However, my mother's friend told me about a snack sold here that she thought I would like. It's called "Kabukiage Senbei" and costs 210 yen. I love fried senbei! The shape may not be perfect, but the taste is great. It's a good deal. The photo shows a relatively neat Kabukiage Senbei. The others are more broken (laughs), but it doesn't matter to me since they are for personal consumption. The fried senbei is slightly sweet with a crispy texture that I love. Just need to finish them before they get soggy (laughs). I enjoyed eating them. Thank you for the meal.

I'm around Odori Subway Station. Before a drinking party, I was really hungry and couldn't wait any longer! I went to Mitsukoshi to look for something to eat, but couldn't find anything that caught my eye. Then, I found it! Taiyaki! I ordered a cream-filled one for 150 yen. Since there was no place to eat inside, I went to a break room in a department store to enjoy it. I should have taken a photo of the cross-section, but when I broke it open, it was too thick with too much filling! The cream filling was less than half. While thin-skinned taiyaki is more common, this one was quite thick and not my favorite. I prefer the thin-skinned ones. Thank you for the meal!

This shop is located next to the ticket gate on the Paul Town side of the underground subway at Odori. It is a small shop that sells taiyaki, sweets, bento boxes, and drinks. This time, I purchased "Koware Kabuki Age" for 210 yen and "Taiyaki (white bean paste)" for 150 yen. I haven't bought taiyaki in a while, but it's quite delicious, isn't it? I would like to try a different kind next time if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal ☆

Cream 150 yen, Chestnut red bean paste 160 yen. There is a taiyaki place near the entrance of Port Town, right? When I was in my 20s working nearby, I used to buy taiyaki here as a snack. I went there after a long time (*゚ω゚)ノ There are 5 types of taiyaki for 150 yen and 160 yen, and the wrapping paper says "Full of red bean paste from head to tail," so I cut it in half vertically! The tail is packed, but the head is not filled at all. Just like me, the head is empty lol The dough is slightly sweet with a nostalgic taste of taiyaki. It has a strong chestnut flavor and the white bean paste is delicious. Thank you for the meal (^ω^)

08/02/2019 Revisited. On my way home from work, I decided to revisit Fukuya. When I looked at the menu, I noticed that the chestnut and pumpkin fillings that were available until around March this year were no longer there. I asked the staff and they said, "They're gone." Oh no! I really liked the chestnut flavor. I ended up buying two regular red bean taiyaki and headed home. The taiyaki was dense and filled with a generous amount of red bean paste, just like always. It was delicious. I'm a little sad that the chestnut filling is gone. I hope it makes a comeback someday. Of course, the taiyaki was still delicious. Thank you. I will come back again.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen for this designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is still no medication that suits me. This review is based on my condition and consultation. Likes and comments may be delayed, thank you for your understanding. [July 2019] This is my second visit in 5 years, so a light review. Initially, the price was around 70 yen per piece. Then, the last time I visited, it was 90 yen per piece. I used to buy taiyaki without knowing the store name. When it became 90 yen, I thought it had become quite expensive. Of course, it was in a time without consumption tax. (laughs) The store name is "Sapporo Fukuya". I only found out the name of the store 4 years ago despite using it quite a lot. The store's image had changed significantly from my last visit. The previous price was 135 yen per piece. Taiyaki with a traditional thick dough. The selling point was that the red bean paste goes all the way to the tail. This time, when I cut it, the cream had a subtle filling compared to thin-skinned taiyaki. The azuki bean paste one was just like the traditional taiyaki. The biggest feature is the delicious dough. Even without red bean paste or cream, the dough alone is delicious enough. Each 150 yen (tax included). This "taiyaki" shop has been around in Sapporo for a long time. I used this place and another taiyaki shop near Hakuono Station on the subway. I know the location, but of course, I don't know the name of that shop either. In Sapporo, small taiyaki shops have decreased significantly. Large chain stores are dominant. It's impressive that they have been in business for so long. I think it's because the taste is good. I have a feeling I'll visit the same places again next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

On Sunday, I wandered around Odori area and felt like having something sweet... I stopped by "Sapporo Fukuya" near the south exit of Odori Subway Station. I've been here a few times, but it seems like the prices have gone up a bit. They offer bento boxes, sandwiches, and drinks. I tried their "taiyaki, red bean paste" for 150 yen. They asked if I wanted to eat it right away, and wrapped it in paper for me. The taiyaki here has a thin crust and lots of filling, it's really delicious... Although it's a bit too sweet for my liking. I sat on a chair in the store and enjoyed it. Maybe I'll go to Tanukikoji next... Thank you for the meal.
