"Ramen Gojo Hara Main Store" is one of my favorite ramen shops that I visit regularly. Lately, it has been very crowded, and if you don't time it right, you might end up waiting in line outside. On this day, I was eager to go since the morning, so I managed to get the first position in line before opening! As soon as I sat down, customers started pouring in, and within 5 minutes, the place was packed. It was definitely a good decision to go early.
I ordered the "Spicy Miso Ramen for 850 yen." This place always serves delicious ramen, but I was in the mood for something spicy that day, so I went with the spicy option. The bowl arrived in about 10 minutes. When I tried the soup, it was spicier than usual, which left a strong impression. The noodles were firm and well-cooked. The toppings included chashu, boiled bean sprouts & cabbage, powdered bonito flakes, and green onions. The chashu was tender and satisfying to eat, and the bamboo shoot menma had a crunchy texture with a sweet flavor, making it a great side dish. The chashu onigiri was freshly made and incredibly delicious! It was big and filling, leaving me with a full stomach.
I visit this place regularly, and no matter what I order, the ramen here never disappoints. I highly recommend trying the chashu onigiri, so make sure to go on an empty stomach. Once again, the meal was delicious. Thank you for the treat!

I went to Sapporo for a trip and had a late-night snack at Goshougen near my accommodation. I ordered the classic Tonshio ramen with vegetable toppings (900 yen), but it was a mistake. I should have ordered the Miso ramen that the person next to me had ordered. The Miso ramen comes with a mountain of vegetables, an extra slice of chashu, and garlic toppings for 850 yen, so if you don't mind thick noodles, I highly recommend the Miso ramen. The ramen was delicious overall, and I finished every last bit, including the soup. 20 years ago, there was a 1-hour wait, 10 years ago it was empty enough to have time to read the manga provided, and this time it was just crowded enough to have all seats filled, with the manga (Attack on Titan) removed.

Around 8:00 PM, there was a line of 5 or 6 people outside the shop, but surprisingly it was not too long. I was able to be seated in about 20 minutes. Inside the shop, I bought a meal ticket from the ticket machine near the entrance as soon as I entered. I ordered the classic miso ramen and a chashu onigiri. Once seated, I handed over the meal ticket and soon the chashu onigiri was brought to me. It was huge! It was about twice the size of a regular convenience store onigiri. It was too big to eat with my hands, so I had to pick at it with chopsticks. It was delicious, and the amount of chashu was incredible. And all of this for only 180 yen, which is an amazing deal. I'm sure no one would complain if it was priced at 300 yen. Soon after, the ramen was ready. The miso soup was rich and sweet, very tasty. The noodles were a bit thin and soft, similar to the noodles in instant ramen. It might be a bit lacking for those who prefer a hearty portion of noodles, but the balance with the soup was good, making it a complete dish. The miso ramen was priced at 800 yen, which felt reasonable. With the miso ramen and chashu onigiri combo priced at 980 yen, I put a 1000 yen bill into the ticket machine and received 20 yen in change. The taste, cost-effectiveness, and balance of this restaurant are all top-notch. I would definitely consider revisiting if I have the chance!

I arrived before noon and was relieved to find a parking lot. There was a line ahead of me, so I waited for about 20 minutes. I tried the rare Niboton ramen, which is apparently uncommon in Hokkaido. The soup was delicious, but personally, I didn't quite like the noodles. I also got the popular Chashu onigiri to go, and it was as good as rumored. The restaurant was crowded, but the staff provided excellent service throughout. Thank you very much.

This is one of the flagship stores for Sapporo ramen, right? I think this is my third time coming here since my first visit in 2008. I ordered the "Ban-Kara Miso Ramen", which is a pork bone soup with a strong spicy kick and chewy noodles. It turned out to be spicier than I expected, making me break out in a sweat (laughs). Of course, I also had my favorite chashu onigiri. The customer service here is really great, isn't it?

■Menu: Masurao (Jiro-style ramen) for 850 yen
■Impressions:
- The noodles were thick with a good chewiness and very delicious.
- While I'm not a fan of tonkotsu or other flavors that taste like cup ramen, Masurao had tasty noodles.
■Wait time:
- About 10 minutes on a weekday at 7:00 PM.

After a party with friends, I took a stroll around Susukino looking for a ramen shop open late at night. Before I knew it, I ended up at this place where I used to go during my student days. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and chashu rice ball without hesitation. The ramen tasted just like the good old days. I finished it quickly, but since I was already full, I had the rice ball packed to go. (Back in my student days, I could easily finish both though)

I visited around 12 o'clock for a late night meal after drinking. There were 9 people waiting in line, and it took about 20 minutes to be seated. The chashu rice ball came out first. It was quite a large portion. The pork back fat tonkotsu ramen was delicious, but the saltiness was a bit strong. It was fine for me since I had been drinking, but it might be too salty for some.

I visited after work in Susukino. There were about 6 people waiting outside, so I lined up. I went inside and struggled to decide what to eat at the ticket machine, but finally decided to try the ramen at Masurao, which is a Jiro-style ramen. Of course, I ordered it with garlic. When it arrived, the garlic was really strong. The noodles were thick and satisfying to eat. The soup seemed to be a tonkotsu base, which made it not too heavy and I was able to finish it all. It was delicious. Next time, I want to try the Tsubame Sanjo ramen.

This ramen is not miso, but tonkotsu shio. It is a long-standing ramen shop in Sapporo. The tonkotsu salt soup, with plenty of lard, is slightly spicy. The contrast of the orange color against the cloudy soup is striking. The chewy medium-thick noodles were also to my liking. And their signature chashu rice ball is absolutely delicious. The rice ball, cooked together with chashu, is infused with the fat from the chashu, giving it a full chashu flavor. Plus, it was very generous in portion.

I visited this famous ramen shop in Sapporo after about 20 years. It is said that the ramen boom in Sapporo started from here. Recently, there are times when there are long lines again. I tried the tonkotsu ramen. I like the soup and chashu, but maybe the noodles are not to my liking, so I don't go there often.

I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen (850 yen), Seasoned Egg (150 yen), and Char Siu Rice Ball (180 yen) for a total of 1,180 yen. While the Tonkotsu Ramen (800 yen) is popular, I opted for the Spicy Miso Ramen. It wasn't very spicy, but still delicious with a unique spice blend. Next time, I'll ask for extra spice. And the Char Siu Rice Ball was really tasty! A must-try! Thank you for the meal.

First, I took a sip of the soup. It was rich and incredibly delicious. The thick noodles with seaweed and onions were really tasty. The famous large rice ball was like fried rice. I'm stuffed. Thank you for the meal - I'll definitely come back again.

After drinking a lot in the city of Sapporo, I visited this place. There were about 10 people waiting in line, and I waited for about 40 minutes before being seated. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with back fat. The onigiri also looked delicious, but I couldn't eat it after drinking so much. The ramen arrived in about 10 minutes. It was just right in terms of saltiness after drinking. Despite having back fat, it wasn't as heavy as it looked and I finished it quickly. However, one thing that bothered me was that the noodles were not drained well. This is unacceptable. It seems like the taste might change every time. It would be even better if they improved on this.

Since I was a student, there used to be long lines for Tonkotsu ramen (a long time ago). It was from the good old days, but recently Tonkotsu ramen is not worth waiting in line for. It lacks depth and flavor, to be honest, it's not much different from instant ramen. The owner's service is good, but other staff members are not suited for customer service. I've tried Masara, Karanibo, Enzan Sanjo, and they were delicious but the taste has declined, prices have gone up. It's disappointing because these were my favorite restaurants.

Today's last bowl of noodles, so I went with a standard shio (salt) ramen and a rich tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen, with a side of chashu (roast pork) onigiri. The soup has a beautiful layer of back fat on top. Between the back fat and the soup, there is a creamy white layer where the fat has melted, creating a lovely contrast with the orange soup. The soup is delicious! The noodles are delicious too! The chashu absorbs the soup perfectly. The chashu onigiri is large, but when dipped in the soup, it flows smoothly into the stomach like risotto. It's no wonder there's always a line at this shop even late at night.

This ramen is definitely in the top 3 of the ones I've had this year! The back fat is so fresh, it's just unbelievably delicious! I can't believe I went on a full stomach haha. Normally, I would go for the chashu onigiri in addition to the ramen! Diving rice into that soup is a must! I went on a regular Thursday night around 11 pm and there were 3 groups waiting ahead of me. Everyone was digging in! Mostly guys haha. Taste: ★★★★★, Value: ★★⭐︎⭐︎

Yesterday, I went to Ramen Gojo Hara, recommended by my company's boss. It's located in a competitive area with many ramen shops like Shingen and Ichigen nearby. I arrived during lunchtime and had to wait for one group ahead of me. I ordered my ramen with a ticket and chose the Gojo Hara style, similar to Jiro ramen. Most customers ordered the regular ramen with a chashu rice ball. The chashu rice ball was huge! The Gojo Hara ramen itself was also very filling. It came with plenty of cabbage and special thick noodles that coated well with the soup. The soup was a creamy pork bone base with a lot of lard and seasoning. It wasn't too strong, more on the mellow side. Adding melted garlic gave it an extra kick. It's more of a light Jiro-style ramen, not as heavy, and the portion was not as large as Jiro ramen, so I finished it quickly. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant on Monday afternoon and it was full, with about three people waiting in front of me. I was seated in about 10 minutes. I noticed the large onigiri of the person next to me, but I ordered only ramen today. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen for 800 yen, which came with 2 slices of roasted pork and thick-cut menma. It was a great deal and delicious!

I came to this restaurant after being told to try Genghis Khan on a Saturday night and have miso ramen. There were 6 people ahead of me in line, but other popular restaurants had even longer lines so I decided to wait. After about 20 minutes, I finally got inside. I ordered the miso ramen, of course. First, I tried the soup and it was incredibly delicious. When I tried the noodles, they were just like regular packaged noodles. I was disappointed by the noodles. It would have been better if they used different noodles.
