This time, I visited Sushi Washo "Tsukasa," where fresh ingredients are skillfully prepared by chefs right in front of you, for dinner! The location is just a 3-minute walk from Goryokaku Park, making it easily accessible! The interior has a calm Japanese atmosphere, with a total of 32 seats including 7 counter seats, table seats for 4 people or more, and private rooms with sunken kotatsu seats for 2 people or more! If you want to enjoy sushi prepared by chefs in front of you, the counter seats are recommended, while if you want to relax and enjoy your meal in a private setting, the table seats or sunken kotatsu rooms are ideal! The restaurant can accommodate up to 25 people in private rooms, making it suitable for parties or business entertainment! The atmosphere inside is bright and lively, and I felt very comfortable!
Here are the dishes I ordered this time:
- Assorted sashimi: Snow crab, amberjack, botan shrimp, lean tuna, medium fatty tuna, octopus, sea urchin, salmon roe, and scallop were all included! The freshness was excellent, and each piece was delicious! It was a satisfying experience to enjoy various flavors!
- Hichinai Jidori chicken tataki: Lightly seared Hichinai Jidori chicken had a deep flavor that became more pronounced as you chewed, and the meat was tender and juicy!
- Saikyo grilled silver cod: The balance of Saikyo miso seasoning was just right, enhancing the deliciousness of the silver cod! It paired perfectly with alcohol!
- Salmon child (nigiri): I tried the rare fish "salmon child" in nigiri form! It was rich in fat but light and easy to eat, with a long-lasting refined taste! The elegant flavor was irresistible!
- Medium fatty tuna (nigiri): The flesh was tender, and the refined umami spread throughout the mouth! I was able to taste a very high-quality tuna!
- Sea urchin (gunkan): I enjoyed a gunkan with plenty of rich and flavorful sea urchin! It had a sweetness and a melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness! The high-quality nori also had a fragrant aroma, enhancing the taste of the ingredients!
I also ordered draft beer and the sake "Kuni Maresake." Sake and seafood make a great combination! The alcohol went well with the meal and was enjoyable! The staff at the restaurant were also very friendly, making the dining experience pleasant! With a wide variety of dishes, everything was delicious without disappointment! The prices were reasonable, and the cost performance was good! It was a satisfying restaurant in terms of deliciousness, service, and overall experience! The business hours are from 6:00 pm to 3:00 am, making it convenient for late-night dining! It's easy to drop by alone, and it's a recommended restaurant for various occasions such as business entertainment, parties, or meals with loved ones! I highly recommend visiting Sushi Washo "Tsukasa"!
