[2022, Hokkaido Series 10] Well, on the last night in Sapporo, after having dinner with relatives, as usual, my cousin and I headed to an izakaya, and then ended up at a ramen shop for a final bowl of ramen... like young people do. (laughs) The ramen shop we went to was, of course, "Shoyuya Honten". You can't talk about Shoyuya Honten without trying their ramen. (I'm talking a lot about it though...) I ordered the "Kodove Ramen (700 yen including tax) + Large Size (+110 yen)" which arrived looking divine. (I ate a lot and got the large size!) Oh, as always, the visual presentation is beautiful! The hot bowl and soup are always a delight. And the taste? Yeah, it's delicious as always. It has a deep richness and sweetness with a clear and refreshing taste that is unmatched. The firm, medium-thin curly noodles are just perfect. The tender chashu, subtly soy-flavored boiled egg, menma, naruto, and wheat gluten toppings are all delicious. Oh, if Kodove-chan were a girl, you'd fall in love with her. This time, I was able to take a long break, so I had fun visiting various places, including the zoo. I want to thank my cousin and her child for accompanying me, even if it was a bit of a stretch. My parents worry about their daughter's whims, but she is truly a pure and kind child. She'll be a high school student next year, so we probably won't go out together anymore, but I'll definitely have ramen with my parents again. I'm completely satisfied with the delicious and beloved Kodove Ramen in Sapporo. I'll be heading back before the Bon Festival, but I'm sure my ramen-loving relatives, parents, and ancestors in heaven are saying, "Kodove-chan looks delicious, doesn't she?" Thank you for the meal.
