This was our regular girls' night out. It happened to be the first day of the 9th-anniversary event at the restaurant. They had a wonderful promotion where you could play rock-paper-scissors with the staff every time you ordered a beer or highball. If you won, it was free! I ended up getting 3 free drinks, and my friends got 2-3 each. The restaurant had many private rooms, a clean atmosphere, friendly and polite staff, and delicious food. We will definitely be visiting again.

Established for over 50 years, this chicken cuisine specialty restaurant from Kyoto is located right by Susukino Station in 2023. The entrance to the restaurant is on the 5th floor accessible by an elevator, making it impossible to escape once you enter. The interior is spacious and you can comfortably dine alone at the counter. The atmosphere is not traditional Kyoto style, but rather a more casual setting. They offer two types of "slightly drunk sets" until 6:30 pm on weekdays: Set 1 includes a small dish, 5 skewers, and a glass of sake for 1430 yen, while Set 2 includes a small dish, 5 skewers, sashimi, and a glass of sake for 1980 yen. I opted for Set 1 and enjoyed a refreshing beer. The skewers were delicious, especially the sand liver with ponzu sauce and grated daikon, offering a crispy and tangy texture. The grilled items included ponpochi, chicken skin, nama-fu (wheat gluten), chicken thigh, and liver, all seasoned with a variety of condiments. The restaurant also offers a selection of meat skewers, but my favorite was the chewy nama-fu. I definitely want to come back for more. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I had never had the opportunity to try chicken sashimi before, so I tried it as soon as it arrived! The course included 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink! The "Summer Banquet" course with all-you-can-drink and 7 dishes costs 5,000 yen per person (tax included). The course includes: - Appetizer: Daily special - Sashimi: Assorted chicken sashimi and tataki - Skewers: Assorted skewers (chicken with leeks, chicken neck, chicken tenderloin with wasabi, and popular women's favorite grilled chicken gluten) - Fried dishes: Fried chicken wings, spicy chicken wings - Salad: Seasonal salad - Main dish: Grilled chicken hormones - Rice dish: Chicken se-e style rice Everything was delicious!

The restaurant is a yakitori place with its main branch in Kyoto, located in a building near Usukono intersection. We had a party with about 10 people and booked the "Spring Banquet (5000 yen)" in advance. The course included 8 dishes and a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. The food was generally delicious. The chicken tataki and sashimi were fresh, and the yakitori was well-cooked and tasty. The meal ended with a dish called "Keihan" which is a local dish from Amami Oshima, which was a nice touch. The staff were accommodating with alcohol refills, although highballs were not included in this course. Overall, the restaurant had a bright and clean atmosphere, and it was a satisfying and enjoyable gathering with good food at a reasonable price. I would consider revisiting for another party like this.

Although it's in Kyoto (just my impression), the overall taste was quite salty, but maybe it was good as a drinking snack? It was interesting to be told to eat the thin-cut sashimi within 15 minutes. The dressing for the daikon salad was just regular sesame, but the grated ginger added a punch that I really liked. I'll definitely try that at home. Some of the boiled peanuts were a bit mushy and disappointing. The rolled omelette was fluffy and delicious. The skewers were also tasty. I was surprised when the tasting sake came in a full glass instead of a small cup. The dried fish was salty, but it makes a good snack. The staff were also very kind and that was nice.

I went to a specialty bird cuisine restaurant and it was a great experience! The entire restaurant is non-smoking, which is a plus. The restaurant has a traditional Japanese ambiance with box seats, counter seats, and private rooms. It's versatile for private dining or business entertaining. I had pre-booked the "All-You-Can-Drink with Torisae Course (8 dishes) for 5,000 yen" and enjoyed it with Asahi Super Dry Extra Cold. The "Liver Marinade" was a great start, followed by delicious "Chicken Tataki" and unique "Chicken Namero." The assorted skewers were all expertly cooked and flavorful. The "Crispy Chicken Salad" and "Chicken Wing Dumplings" were also delicious. The spicy fried chicken wings were a standout. The "Chicken Croquette" and "Chicken Rice" were perfect to end the meal. Overall, the food was superb, and the drink selection was great. I look forward to trying more dishes at this restaurant in the future. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The atmosphere and customer service are very good. It's suitable for entertaining guests. They have a wide variety of drinks, focusing on wine and Japanese sake. We mainly ordered yakitori this time, and you can order from just one skewer, making it easy for solo diners. The yakitori and chicken hearts were particularly delicious and to my liking.

Upon entering the store, there is a sense of cleanliness and a slightly upscale image!! However, looking at the menu, it is very reasonable! It is a restaurant specializing in chicken dishes, but there are also various other options. It was a great restaurant! Smoking is not allowed inside, so smokers can only smoke outside!

You can enjoy special brands of sake that can only be tasted at sake breweries in Fushimi, Kyoto, delivered directly to you! You can also enjoy safe-to-eat raw chicken. The atmosphere is great and makes you want to come back when you visit Sapporo. It's a calm place where you can enjoy a meal. The food and sake are delicious.

★KG★ I visited around 7:00 PM on a weekday. Suzuran Birl Annex has a different entrance from the main building, and the elevator used depends on the floor, so I recommend carefully reading the guidance on the 1st floor of the building. The interior of the restaurant is clean and specializes in Kyoto cuisine, especially chicken dishes. They mainly serve Kyoto sake, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Kyoto in Sapporo. The menu is rich with grilled dishes, fried dishes, salads, teppanyaki, and side dishes. There are also many dishes using yuba, tofu, and nama-fu, offering a unique taste of Kyoto cuisine not commonly found in Sapporo. The yakitori is well-made, especially the negima (chicken and leek skewers) which are delicious. The thinly sliced and lightly blanched raw chicken is a masterpiece that can only be enjoyed at this restaurant. The tempura dishes like tori-ten (chicken tempura) and croquette are elegant and delicious, providing a high level of satisfaction. However, all the dishes have very small portions, so it may not be suitable for those looking for a hearty meal (laughs). When it comes to finishing the meal, the restaurant suddenly shifts to a place with low to medium quality at high prices. The keihan (chicken and vegetable rice bowl) and kamameshi (kettle-cooked rice) were not impressive at all, just average. Even the stir-fried dish with parent chicken chosen as a side dish for rice was a disaster when compared to the bone-in chicken dish from Tokushima. This restaurant is great for enjoying drinks with small dishes like yuba, yakitori, and tempura, but when it comes to the main course, it may not meet expectations. It's best to use this place as the first stop for drinks and then head to your favorite ramen spot for a satisfying meal!

Kyoto Torisei was founded in Kyoto in 1966. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the staff were dressed in kimonos, which was lovely. However, the voice of the male staff shouting "Order for XX!" was too loud and didn't match the atmosphere at all. Personally, I enjoyed the chicken and wheat gluten dengaku and the chicken tenderloin with cheese-wrapped in yuba. The yakitori was also delicious. The only disappointment was the duck loin, which was dry. We used two Smile coupons worth 2000 yen each, got a 10% discount with a Tabelog coupon, and received complimentary champagne because it was Christmas. The total bill for two people was around 2,300 yen. Thank you for the meal.

This was my first visit. It was crowded inside due to the year-end party season. We were seated and ordered several chicken dishes. The chicken sashimi was very fresh, tender, and delicious. However, the yakitori was not so good. It was dry and honestly disappointing.

Visit date 11/22/2021. It was my first visit. I had been wanting to come here for a while but couldn't find the right timing until now. I came for the "Chicken Shabu" which requires a reservation by the day before. Same-day reservations are not accepted. The interior of the restaurant has a calm Japanese atmosphere. Personally, I think the table by the window is nice. The Chicken Shabu course is only available at the counter, so I dined at the counter. Normally, the pot is embedded in the counter, but for some reason, it was placed on a portable stove (laughs). If that's the case, it doesn't need to be limited to the counter (laughs). I would have preferred a table seat (laughs). Now, onto the main topic. The meat consists of "thigh, tenderloin, and breast," and later, there's also minced meat skewers. Personally, I liked the tenderloin the most for its tender texture. I also enjoyed the skewers. The timing of the dishes was just right, and I was able to enjoy the meal without waiting too long for my drinks. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation and went. There was a temperature check at the entrance. There are counter seats, window seats, and tables in the back. The seven-spice and sansho have a nice aroma. The grated daikon is refreshing. The chicken wings were delicious. I was recommended to finish within 15 minutes. I finished in no time. The meat also has a sweet taste and is delicious. The sour plum is on the side. The yakitori has a moderate saltiness with a pleasant sweetness. The motsu is soft. The namerou is perfect as a drinking snack. I heard that ramen is available from 9 p.m., so I had to give up. I want to come back next time and eat until the end.

I ordered a course with a 120-minute all-you-can-drink option after being intrigued by the online photos of thinly sliced chicken. The restaurant: The restaurant looked like a traditional Japanese inn in the pictures online, but in reality, it was just a regular izakaya. Food: The recommended thinly sliced chicken was beautifully presented and had a texture that didn't seem like chicken breast at all. The dishes were served in chilled plates, which was nice. Drinks: I expected a good selection of sake, but there wasn't anything particularly special. However, I appreciated the option of a freezing highball. Service: I imagined a hostess-like figure from the photos, but the staff greeted us loudly like in a casual izakaya. Conclusion: I would love to have the thinly sliced chicken again, but everything else was just average.

I've been curious about this building since the banquet that was held here before. Finally, I had the opportunity to visit. When you get off the elevator, you enter directly into the restaurant. The interior is bright, spacious, and open. It feels like a chain store with its decor and service, but it's a comfortable environment where even solo diners can relax. I ordered an extra cold drink and quickly got a refill. Delicious. While I was enjoying it, a set was placed in front of me. I was pleased to see Kyoto Shichimiya's sansho and shichimi. The menu is easy to read, with prices clearly listed. It's reassuring for first-time visitors to be able to order with confidence. The menu is quite extensive, with a variety of yakitori and izakaya dishes. Today, I focused on ordering the skewers that I had been looking forward to. The skewers were beautifully presented, easy to eat, and cooked to perfection. I especially enjoyed the Kyoto pickles. It was delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited this restaurant for the first time due to work. When I got off the elevator on the 5th floor of Suzuran Building Annex, I was greeted by a Kyoto-style storefront and a calm atmosphere, with the sound of a koto playing inside. The staff quickly guided me to my room. I had made a reservation for a 5,000 yen course with a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. The dish that I particularly enjoyed was the "usuzukuri," thinly sliced chicken breast lightly blanched and served with ponzu sauce, it was very delicious and moist. The skewers were also all delicious, especially the "nama-fu dengaku," which really brought out the flavors of Kyoto cuisine. I also enjoyed drinking plenty of Asahi Super Dry Extra Gold and Black Freezing Highball.

After finishing watching a Perfume concert, while waiting for a friend's contact, I went to Torisei alone. Last time, when I went with my seniors, it was super crowded and we couldn't get in. The familiar chef even apologized, saying, "I'm sorry for last time, I let you in but the drinks and food were taking so long." It was nice to be cared for like that by the familiar staff. I started with an extra cold beer and chicken tempura. Ice-cold beer is the best after a live show. I've loved chicken tempura since the first time I tried it. I love dipping it in mustard and ponzu sauce, and I can usually have two servings of this and some appetizers. I added liver, tail, and gizzard, and had some sake after a long time. The yakitori here is on the smaller side, but each skewer is carefully grilled. It may not be suitable for those who prefer skewered chicken, but for me, who loves yakitori, both here and at Kushikui are delicious. Torisei also has creative yakitori, so I recommend trying those too. The bamboo sake cups at Kushikui create a nice atmosphere. The sake is gentle and a bit generous, but it's a delicious drink that one person can finish. This restaurant is easier to get into after 9 pm, and it's usually crowded before that. Even when it's crowded, it's a quiet place unless there's a party. The atmosphere is more traditional at earlier or later hours, and you can enjoy the Japanese ambiance.

After finishing work, I called to see if I could have some yakitori, and they said they had availability, so I headed to the restaurant. When I arrived, it was about 70% full, and I was asked if I had a reservation, to which I replied that I had called earlier. I was seated at the counter and started with a beer before ordering. The chicken sashimi was sweet and rich, similar to Kyushu soy sauce. The staff's explanation of the dishes was good, but it seemed a bit too scripted. The sake tasting set was served in small glasses with informative notes, which was a nice touch. The yakitori, pork belly, chicken skin, chicken wings, and chicken liver were all delicious. The cheese bacon lacked the gooey texture expected from natural cheese. The yomogi and sesame tofu dengaku was a unique dish that I enjoyed. The Kyoto duck breast was flavorful but could have been juicier. However, the chicken ramen I ordered at the end was disappointing. The noodles were overcooked, and when I tried to separate them, the soup disappeared. When I brought this up to the staff, I was told they would add more soup, but it was already too mushy. When I asked for the bill without eating the ramen, they said they had removed it from the bill. Overall, the restaurant seemed a bit disjointed and overly reliant on a manual. The food was good, but it lacked a certain depth that would make it truly memorable.

If possible, I wanted to enjoy yakitori with simple salt seasoning rather than sweet sauce. On the other hand, the grilled chicken cartilage is exquisite! Yakitori definitely pairs well with beer. It's a shame that the only beer option is Asahi! At least they could offer Classic in bottles!
