The exterior of the restaurant and the dishes were both wonderful! Each dish was carefully prepared, and we were kindly explained about each dish as it was served. Every dish was very delicious! The vegetables, seafood, and meat were all excellent! We were even seen off until we couldn't be seen anymore, it's a restaurant that we definitely want to visit again. ^ ^

I made a reservation in advance and visited with a friend. The lunch course was wonderful, with a variety of seasonal ingredients to enjoy. Each dish was explained in detail and we had a great time. Everything was delicious, although the sushi might be a bit of a personal preference. We were really full by the end. The staff were lovely and we had a great time with my friend. I definitely want to visit again at night.

I had a course for 11,600 yen and I was amazed at how delicious firefly squid can be. Not only the raw dish, but also the soup, tempura, and sushi were all delicious. The steak had a Japanese-style sauce on top, making it tender with a gentle flavor. It's nice to have a delicate meal once in a while.

I had been wanting to visit this place for a while and finally found it right next to Shimada-san and Sara Moji-san's place. It was a bit hard to find as it was labeled as a cafe, but when I finally found it, I was so happy! I think it was called Manbou? Since I was the only one there at the time, I had the place to myself and was able to relax and enjoy my time. The interior had a kitchen behind the counter, with long and narrow seating areas including booth seats. The atmosphere at the counter was really nice. There were three staff members - the owner, a man, and a woman - who were all working hard during my visit. I found their dedication really admirable. The menu included three types of lunch sets - Ran, Botan, and two others, as well as a weekday limited lunch set. I ordered the Ran set for 4180 yen, a non-alcoholic drink for 600 yen, and what I think was a ginger ale for 550 yen. I asked for a handwritten menu, which added a touch of elegance to the experience. The dishes included: - Akkeshi oyster simmered in sake with air core and tomato marinated: A refined and elegant appetizer that brought out the flavors of the ingredients perfectly. - Jutto flatfish from Okushiri Island with myoga: A dish that showcased the delicate and refined flavor of flatfish, complemented by the softness of myoga. - Summer vegetables from Hokkaido prepared in various ways: A colorful and delicious dish that highlighted the natural flavors of the ingredients. - Himawari pork grilled over charcoal with yuba in a sweet sauce: Tender and flavorful pork with a gentle sauce that provided a comforting taste. - Nigiri sushi: Each piece was carefully prepared with a perfect balance of toppings and rice, with a standout piece being the medium fatty tuna. - Assorted desserts: A plate filled with ice cream, mousse, cake, and other sweets, served with herbal tea. Overall, it was a luxurious and delightful experience with exquisite Japanese cuisine. I look forward to visiting again to enjoy the seasonal menu. Thank you, Wada-san, for the wonderful time.

Photo + miso soup + dessert plate and champagne for ¥5610 is expensive for Sapporo! Even though the main dish was pork.. I stayed at a Ryokan in Okushiri and decided to revisit. It was my third time, but they seemed to remember me which made me happy. The staff, other than the chef, were also friendly. If you want to feel the scent of Okushiri in Sapporo, this is the place to go. I ordered the dessert to be like a celebration plate and it came out with fireworks. I was happy that they did it properly. However, if they go to that extent, I wish they had asked for my name over the phone. A bit disappointing in some aspects. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I would consider revisiting.

On a certain weekday, I walked to have lunch and happened to come across a restaurant that was open. I found a lunch menu with prices that seemed affordable, so I decided to go in. It was a Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Maruyama Park area. The interior was spacious with a counter and table seats, and the staff warmly welcomed walk-in customers like me. The background music was calming Western music. I opted for the "lunch set meal (2200 yen)" from the menu, which was beautifully presented with various dishes on a long plate. Each dish looked carefully arranged and colorful. The small dish with nanohana (rapeseed flowers) was a bit bitter, and the simmered dish with bamboo shoots was flavorful with various vegetables. The sashimi of scallops, sweet shrimp, and sea bream was fresh and delicious. The tempura with mountain vegetables and mushrooms was crispy and tasty. The side dishes like ginger soy sauce, pickled vegetables, and rolled omelette were also delightful. The rice and miso soup were of high quality. For dessert, there was vanilla ice cream and chocolate cake with a refreshing touch of Dekopon citrus. I ended the meal with a slightly bitter coffee. I was glad to have stumbled upon this restaurant with affordable lunch prices. The owner was very kind and even saw me off outside. I may only be able to visit for lunch next time, but I hope to return someday. It was a delightful experience. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited during lunchtime. It was a satisfying lunch that was enjoyable both visually and taste-wise. The fried vegetables and juicy scallops were especially delicious. It is child-friendly during lunchtime, so you can bring your kids along. When I asked for a children's meal, they picked out easy-to-eat dishes from the adult menu and made a kids' lunch. The staff were friendly, and I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

It was a quiet and stylish hidden gem of a restaurant, with many young female customers but also some older couples. Everything was delicious, but overall the flavors were on the mild side. Personally, I prefer flavors that pack a bit more punch.

I went on a trip to Hokkaido, and this morning in Sapporo was cloudy! For lunch, I went to "TAKU Maruyama" in Maruyama, close to Hokkaido Shrine. It's a restaurant that has been on my radar for a while in the Michelin Guide. I decided to splurge and ordered the "Chef's Special Course". The owner pays close attention to the ingredients and uses plenty of local Hokkaido produce in the course, which was fantastic. Each dish was carefully prepared and you could really taste the craftsmanship. I would love to visit this place again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Today, I went on a business trip to Hokkaido and wanted to eat something good, so I came here. I was able to enter without waiting at 1 pm. I ordered a 2000 yen lunch. I had lunch at the counter. The plate was filled with saury, octopus, scallops, zucchini, mushrooms, and vegetable omelette with tempura. The taste of autumn was fully present. The sashimi was delicious, with the freshness of Hokkaido and the skill of the chef. The scallops were thick and juicy, and the octopus was tender. What surprised me was the potato tempura! When you think of Hokkaido, you think of potatoes! They were fluffy, sweet, and delicious. Of course, the rice and miso soup were also delicious. To eat such delicious food for 2000 yen is a great deal. I will definitely visit again! I want to come back in a different season!

I have asked for your opinion many times, but I really like the personality of the owner and the food. I always look forward to the sake from Okushiri. I usually order the 15000 yen course, but this time I tried the 8000 yen course. Even the 8000 yen course was very satisfying and really good. Thank you for the meal.

I came to lunch with my family. It was around 12:30 on a weekday. The restaurant was almost full, including foreigners. The lunch course started with scallop sashimi, which had a nice texture and just the right amount of salt. The next dish was a plate of vegetables that was truly surprising. The vegetables like sweet potatoes and carrots were cooked or fried, and the taste and texture of each vegetable were skillfully brought out and enhanced. I already like vegetables, but I was so impressed by how delicious they were! The meat and sushi that followed were also very delicious and intricately prepared. It was a very satisfying lunch. I will definitely come back again.

I've been in Sapporo for three days now. Last night, I enjoyed delicious drinks at AKINAGAO until I got sleepy, then slept like a log at the hotel. Waking up refreshed, I met up with some former female colleagues for lunch in Maruyama. It was my first time at this restaurant, which has been famous since I first moved to Sapporo in 2015. I had always wanted to try it. I opted for the 3500 yen course, which turned out to be quite a feast. The lineup mainly consisted of vegetable dishes, and we finished with red vinegar sushi. For dessert, we had a plate with various small treats that the ladies enjoyed. I had two beers, the course, and the bill came out to a little over 5000 yen. I was very satisfied. It was delicious.

The dishes were outstanding, combining exquisite craftsmanship with beautiful presentation. I enjoyed the delicious and healthy creative Japanese cuisine, which left me feeling relaxed and content. The serene atmosphere of the restaurant added to the overall experience. The dishes, beautifully arranged on ceramic plates, included winter melon, watercress, chestnut-colored carrots, and all exuded a sense of healthiness. The sashimi of saury and amberjack was a masterpiece, delicately sliced and expertly prepared. The saury sashimi, served with freshly grated wasabi, was a delight to the taste buds. The amberjack also had a deep and rich flavor. The dishes, such as the tofu skin roll with azuki beans and the deep-fried root vegetables, were not only tasty but also felt healthy. The fried scallops, celery, ginger, and enoki mushrooms were a warm and comforting tempura dish. The wagyu beef from Yoichi had a melt-in-your-mouth texture, with a crispy side that was simply delicious. The addition of peanuts from Sapporo was a nice touch. The sushi, made with red vinegar, had a strong and clear flavor that I personally enjoyed. The red meat of the saury and the salmon roe were top-notch. Overall, the dishes were satisfying and left me wanting to come back for more. Rating: 4.3 Taste, 3.8 Service, 3.9 Atmosphere, 4.0 Value for money, 3.3 Drinks. Location: 1-7 Kita 1-jo Nishi 27-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, TAKU Maruyama. I definitely want to visit this place for dinner next time, but I also look forward to returning for lunch at this increasingly popular restaurant.

Located in Maruyama district, "TAKU Maruyama" offers a casual Western atmosphere where you can enjoy a kaiseki course meal. I made a reservation at this restaurant, which mainly has table seats with a few counter seats. We tried the course menu which costs 8000 yen for the month. Despite being a kaiseki restaurant, we also enjoyed some white wine here. We started with a toast with draft beer and then just waited for the course dishes to arrive. From the appetizers to the king crab, each dish was delicious and elevated our spirits. The sashimi, grilled dishes, and sushi as the main course were all meticulously prepared and very tasty. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

This is my first visit to "TAKU Maruyama". It is a house standing in a residential area, with a cafe on the second floor. Since it was a last-minute reservation, I was told that only the Maruyama-style dim sum set for 2000 yen (excluding tax) could be provided today. The interior of the restaurant has white walls and wooden tables, creating a calming atmosphere. You can see the kitchen right in front of the counter where the food is being prepared. The course consisted of appetizers, tempura, sashimi, rice, soup, dessert, and coffee. When the dishes came out, my husband and I were speechless. It looked like they just arranged side dishes on plates. And all of this for 2000 yen... It felt like eating at home. Even the dessert was just vanilla ice cream... I couldn't say anything more. We quickly finished eating and left. When we left, despite the chef being at the counter, there was not even a "thank you". This place definitely deserves only one star... They must have made a mistake, right?! I will never come back here.

A visit to a traditional Japanese restaurant in Maruyama Park. At first, I thought it might be French based on the name, but it turned out to be a Japanese restaurant. The quality of the fresh fish, typical of Hokkaido, was exceptional. The corn potage was also very sweet. They had a variety of wines available, and we tried a few different ones. The teamwork among the staff was amazing, and their hospitality made us feel warm and welcomed.

The food was delicious, but it didn't leave a special impression or make me feel particularly moved. Maybe it's different at night? However, I wouldn't visit a restaurant for dinner if I wasn't satisfied with their lunch. The sushi was a bit salty for my taste. When a restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide, the expectations tend to be higher. I tried the 3800 yen lunch course, but it felt like they were adding an extra "Enzan fee" of around +200 to 300 yen, making it a bit more expensive than expected.
