This is a restaurant in Muroran that serves yakitori. Despite being labeled as "yakitori," they actually serve pork instead of chicken. I love their pork skewers grilled with sauce, which are delicious when eaten with mustard. The cooking and flavor of the sauce are both excellent. I also enjoyed the three-masu tofu served with soy sauce and green chili peppers. It was a satisfying meal, and I will definitely visit again.

After watching the movie "Close" at the theater, I visited this restaurant in a hurry before their last order at 9:00 pm. I ordered the Muroran yakitori (2 skewers) for 400 yen, which was delicious and seemed like I could eat it endlessly. The morokyu (cucumber with miso) was refreshing after the sweet taste of the yakitori, but I forgot the price. The kashira (2 skewers) for 380 yen had a nice fatty flavor, and the sunagimo (chicken gizzard, 2 skewers) for 360 yen had a perfect crispy texture. Although they had raised their prices, I would like to visit again for the taste. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant in Higashi-Muroran in March. The Muroran yakitori was very delicious, so I brought my family to visit. The combination of sauce and mustard was excellent and very tasty. Pork and onions were the best. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant after a long time craving that crispy texture. In Muroran yakitori, it's not chicken but pork. When I come here to eat, I always order the "pork skewer" and "quail skewer". The pork skewer is made with pork and onions. The sweetness of the onions adds a nice touch. The quail skewer is quite rare. The quail is grilled on the skewer with its shell intact. You don't peel the shell when eating it. For some reason, it's mysterious. Could it be the crispy texture of the shell?! The quail skewer's unique taste is something I've only had here. Give it a try at least once.

I felt like eating Muroran yakitori, so I visited after a long time. It was crowded from early on. Despite being called yakitori, Muroran yakitori uses pork. It's eaten with mustard. The flavor is strong, and the grilling is perfect. It's a great dish to have with drinks. The staff's service is also good. There are four sunken kotatsu seats at the back for parties. However, I felt that compared to the past, the prices have gone up and the portion size has decreased.

Visited on a Sunday after 8 PM. Thought I might need a reservation on Fridays and Saturdays, but managed to get in. Started with a Sapporo Classic beer for a toast. Ordered Ramen Salad for 800 yen, Muroran Yakitori for 400 yen, Chicken Skin for 360 yen, Charcoal-grilled Quail with shell on for 380 yen, Tsukune with raw egg for 550 yen, and minced meat with mustard miso for 440 yen. The Muroran Yakitori was delicious with its sauce, so everything was ordered with sauce except for the Chicken Skin. Ate the Quail with the shell on, which had a unique texture but was tasty! Had about 4 Highballs after the Classic beer... Finished with the Muroran Yakitori and left satisfied! Thank you for the meal♪ #Recommended by Mr. Nishimura

On Sunday, I entered the restaurant at 7:00 PM and it was about 20% full. When I left around 8:15 PM, the restaurant was 90% full with 2 people. We ordered various dishes and it came to around 11,000 yen. The grilled chicken skewers with pork as the main dish were delicious. I learned for the first time after leaving Hokkaido that there are many pork dishes in grilled chicken skewers in mainland Japan. Thank you for the meal, I hope to dine here again someday.

I just had to have quail skewers before going to the restaurant I had a reservation at. No matter how many times I come, I always end up here. The taste is like nothing I've had elsewhere, with quail still in its shell. After eating, my mouth feels a bit rough, but it's really delicious.

This time, I ordered the shio (salt) yakitori. It was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, absolutely delicious! I also tried the tare (sauce) which was great. The chilled tomatoes were refreshing and a perfect palate cleanser. The grated tsukune (chicken meatball) was also very tasty. The chicken meat was tender and juicy. The quail eggs with shells were interesting with their crispy shells. I ate a variety of 10 skewers and was satisfied. I enjoyed them with plum sour and hot sake, feeling happy! I already want to eat them again soon. Maybe I'll try the cheese tsukune next time.

I visited this restaurant for the first time because the Nishi 4-jo branch was closed. The menu should be the same, but there was a slight difference in taste or maybe it was the staff's service, causing some discomfort. However, enjoying the Muroran yakitori with a Laphroaig highball and a Hakushu highball in hand was fantastic.

In October 2022, I visited a slightly offbeat traditional Muroran yakitori restaurant with a certification from the original main branch. The place was bustling with office workers on Friday evening at 5:30 PM. I started with a dry beer in a medium-sized glass for 580 yen, which was not too cold. The appetizer was kinpira gobou for 200 yen, which had a distinct flavor. The yakitori came in plates of 2 skewers each, but I couldn't try many varieties alone. I chose the salted chicken skin and pork skewers with sauce. The chicken skin was thick and chewy with perfect grilling, while the pork skewers had a delicious sauce coating. The meat was tender and flavorful. Overall, the taste was excellent, but I noticed some room for improvement in the grilling area, possibly due to the manager or staff's guidance. I visited the restaurant on a weeknight. I arrived at 8:00 pm and there were empty seats available. This is a yakitori restaurant in Muroran, which I had been curious about after seeing it on TV. I was really looking forward to it. First, I read the "3 main features of Muroran yakitori" on the menu. [Pork] The rich flavor of pork meat is different from chicken meat, and it is a characteristic feature. In Muroran yakitori restaurants, they distinguish between chicken meat as "tori-sei" and pork meat as "buta-sei". [Onion] In some parts of Honshu, they call it "naganegi" when it is sandwiched between the meat, but in Muroran yakitori, "onions" are used, and its natural sweetness and aroma stimulate the appetite. [Wasabi] Serving "wasabi" as a condiment for yakitori to bring out the flavor of the meat is also a delicious commitment of Muroran yakitori. [Sauce] The secret "sauce" is a taste created by the tradition since the establishment. It's a bit late, but in Hokkaido, they call fresh meat "seiko". It's educational. Now, I ordered "Muroran Yakitori Buta-sei (400 yen)", "Ippin Original Quail Charcoal Grill with Shell (380 yen)", "Shiraoi Beef Amiyaki Steak Assortment (1,900 yen)", and "Torisei (380 yen)". It arrived in about 10 minutes. First, I tried the quail. The charcoal aroma is fragrant, the thin shell is crispy, and the inside is as tender as a boiled egg. For some reason, the shell does not linger in the mouth as expected. Is this quail! It's delicious as expected. Next is the pork meat. It was recommended to have it with sauce. It is a combination of pork shoulder and onions, and it goes well with the sweet and spicy secret sauce because it is lighter than pork belly. The wasabi also adds an accent. And then the Shiraoi beef. The dish and presentation are unexpected for a yakitori restaurant. As expected of a brand beef, the taste is sweet, juicy, and refreshing. Finally, the chicken meat. It's just a regular yakitori, but it is packed with umami and has an elegant aftertaste. Perhaps the chicken meat is the best today. I might have to go to the original place. Thank you for the meal.

I come here regularly. I love Muroran yakitori. It's the best to eat it with a sweet sauce and a little bit of mustard. But I prefer the crispy skin with salt. The tsukune with grated daikon was refreshing and delicious. The chicken porridge portion was big for one person, but I managed to finish it easily. The white meat was tender and flavorful, maybe I'll try it with salt next time? The Caesar salad was also delicious. I enjoyed the food and drinks so much that I didn't have time to take more than one photo (*^^*) I will definitely go back!

I prefer onions over negima. I like the size of the skewers. The sauce is delicious, but the previous owner's Nanban miso was also tasty. The restaurant was well-ventilated and comfortable inside. I chose the salt flavor for the chicken meat. The chicken was delicious. It was a good experience for the elderly couple. I ordered the owner's special hidden sake. I forgot the brand, but it was delicious! I will definitely go back ❤️

We finished our meal at the cafe around 2 p.m. However, since my eldest son was still hungry before dinner, we chose this restaurant where he could eat as much as he liked. We arrived right at 5 p.m. when they opened. As we started eating, the food went down smoothly into our stomachs. Of course, the Muroran yakitori was delicious, but this time we also tried the karashi miso flavor. It had a spicy kick and was a mature taste that went well with shochu. In the end, we ate until we were full. Thank you for the meal.

The movie ended at 5:00 PM and I wasn't very hungry, so I chose this place where I could eat as much as I wanted. Even though it was past 5:00 PM on a Sunday, customers kept coming in. The Muroran yakitori (2 skewers): Eating it with mustard on the sauce is pure bliss. I was only half full a moment ago, but suddenly I feel like I can eat a lot. Chicken tail meat skewers (2 skewers): 380 yen, great texture. Shiitake mushrooms: 490 yen, I didn't eat them so no comment. Among the soul foods in Hokkaido, I think Muroran yakitori is something to be proud of. Thank you for the meal.

Pre-dinner meal before a business trip. The weather forecast for the evening predicted heavy snow, so I decided to have dinner nearby. I chose to go to Ippei, a yakitori restaurant located just a little north of Tanukikoji. I arrived a little after 7 pm. Upon entering, I was instructed to use the disinfectant in the windbreak room. I complied and then took a seat at the counter. There was one person sitting at the counter and one couple at a table. I ordered a medium-sized Asahi Super Dry draft beer (550 yen) and enjoyed some dried radish as a complimentary appetizer. Although the restaurant is known for its yakitori, they actually serve pork skewers. I ordered the signature "Pork" Motomachi Yakitori (390 yen), "Pork" Liver (380 yen), and Pork with Mustard Miso (420 yen). The skewers were grilled over charcoal, giving them an authentic flavor. The pork skewers were delicious, with a slightly sweet sauce and a spicy kick from the western mustard. The "Pork" Liver skewer was also tasty, with a good amount of fat. I then switched to a lemon sour (495 yen) and ordered the "Chicken" Motomachi Yakitori (380 yen) and "Chicken" Liver (380 yen) skewers. The chicken skewers were also flavorful, with the same onion garnish. Overall, the skewers were delicious despite the slight stress of hearing the manager instructing the staff. On two consecutive days, I went out for drinks with a friend and the owner of this salon at Yakitori Ippei Sapporo Chuo store. Everywhere we tried was fully booked, so we ended up here after wandering around for a bit. It's been a while since I last visited. The person grilling the yakitori has changed, and their attention to detail is incredible. They notice when a customer's drink is running low before the waitstaff and are quick to take orders. The grilling and seasoning were spot on, just the way I like it. No wonder it's so busy. I want to visit again for a solo drink earlier next time. Thank you for the meal! (*˘╰╯˘)ゞ

The prices are listed for each item: Muroran Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) for 390 yen, which was really delicious. They marinate it in sauce before grilling. Chicken tenderloin with wasabi for 420 yen was not dry at all, it was moist and the wasabi paired well with it. Chicken gizzards for 350 yen didn't look like gizzards, they had a lot of meat. And even though they were seasoned with "salt," they went well with Western-style mustard. Mochi bacon for 550 yen and Shiitake mushrooms with butter (price unknown) were both extremely delicious. I wonder why the restaurant's mochi bacon is so good. It's a perfect palate cleanser after the sweet taste of the teriyaki chicken skewers. It's crispy and delicious. The restaurant has taken thorough measures for infection prevention, such as providing contact information. Thank you for the meal.
