I stayed at a Toyoko Inn to go to the Golden Kamuy store after a long time. I always use the south entrance. This time, I restrained myself quite a bit because I plan to go eat a parfait later. The breakfast at Toyoko Inn is balanced, with options like meat, eggs, and fish. This time, I wonder if there is a hot spring too? There were various salads like dried vegetable salad, daikon radish, and burdock. Eggs are precious, so I also had an omelette. The soup was also good. Only the Toyoko Inn in Tomakomai had the thoughtful touch of being able to top the soup with parsley, while in other Toyoko Inns, it's just the soup. The bread I toasted was left unattended for too long and ended up burnt, but it was still delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Luxurious breakfast with curry and three types of soup! The curry doesn't have any ingredients, but the "colorful chicken stew" next to it is filled with vegetables and chunks of chicken, making it a super luxurious Chicken Curry when combined with the curry. It's healthy with plenty of vegetables like baby corn, lotus root, zucchini, bell pepper, and sweet potato. The soup festival continues with onion soup and corn soup. There are also croutons and parsley as toppings, which was very pleasing. It's a shame there wasn't a tomato-based soup. I remember the minestrone I had before was delicious. Thank you for the meal!!

Among all the Toyoko Inns nationwide, this hotel is probably one of the better ones. I stayed here during a location shoot in Sapporo. I've stayed at Toyoko Inns all over the country, but the breakfast buffet here is quite good. There are two types of rice dishes, which is nice, and they also have fish. The variety is good. The bread is good too, and the sausages were delicious. I would recommend this hotel with a score of 75 points.

I have become a regular at this Toyoko Inn, staying almost every week, to the point where they recognize my face and greet me with "Thank you as always" as soon as I enter the lobby, and "See you again soon" as I leave. I have accumulated over 30 points in Toyoko Inn's rewards program, so I must have stayed a lot. When you become a regular, they even give you a room closest to the elevator. On November 6th, which happened to be the 20th anniversary of this Toyoko Inn (although technically it's on the 7th), I received a commemorative gift - a toothbrush case with the Toyoko Inn design. I will gratefully use it. By the way, the vending machine in the lobby on the first floor sells Toyoko Inn original sparkling water (in a silver aluminum bottle) - a slightly salty carbonated water. Once again, I skipped the free breakfast and embarked on my morning food journey. Here's a photo of my husband's half-eaten free breakfast. Thank you for the meal.

Curry in the morning is a rare find and I'm happy about it. You can serve yourself as much as you like in a bowl. There were plastic spoons available, but no one could find them so everyone ended up eating with chopsticks, which was a surreal sight. My husband was the only one using a spoon, but using chopsticks is also eco-friendly for reducing plastic waste. Sausages and eggs are common, but having plenty of fish is unusual and nice. I'm happy to be able to eat fish. The only bread option was white bread. Margarine and jam were in separate packets. The breakfast area has a small number of seats (with some seats that cannot be used), so it might get crowded in the morning. Thank you for the meal!!

▽Breakfast Buffet▽ (Nov 2019)
The buffet was simple, with rice, bread, and a few side dishes. The flavors were straightforward and did not stand out much. It was a very basic and simple breakfast.
▼Impressions▼ (Nov 2019)
Toyoko Inn is a major hotel chain with branches all over Japan (except Kochi). They focus on cost-cutting to offer affordable rates, with a simple and efficient operation. This particular branch was quiet and tucked away in a back alley near Sapporo Station. The breakfast buffet was typical of Toyoko Inn, simple and no-frills. I may consider staying here again if the opportunity arises.

The free breakfast at Toyoko Inn is always crowded with Chinese guests. It's very lively, so I try to finish quickly. On this day, I had rice ball with mixed rice, salad, tamagoyaki, and miso soup, which was enough. I also had coffee to take a break before starting my activities energetically in the morning.

June 26, 2018 (morning) ♥ Breakfast buffet: salad, simmered saury, rolled omelette, sausage, hijiki seaweed, simmered komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach), rice ♥ Shiratama zenzai (sweet red bean soup with rice dumplings) ❤ I tried a little bit of my favorite foods all mixed together. Everything was delicious~ The simmered saury was especially amazing and went really well with the rice! Having shiratama zenzai for dessert made me so happy♪

Recently, it's been difficult to find both expensive and affordable hotels. I used to have a regular hotel to stay at, but now I'll tolerate a little inconvenience if it means a cheaper stay. I've stayed in a couple of capsule hotels before, but they just don't agree with me. I usually book through "Jalan," but lately it's been pricey, so my wife looks for other options. This time, my wife found a place for us to stay. We had a daytime drinking event, so checking in was tricky. If they didn't hold onto our car until check-in, would we have to move it after drinking? When we arrived at the hotel, I asked the front desk if they could hold onto our car. The woman at the front desk was nice and said they could, for an extra fee. But in the end, there was no additional charge. We ended up checking in the next day, even though we thought we'd go back early due to the daytime drinking. I'll have breakfast now. I used to think the breakfast at Toyoko Inn wasn't great, but this time it was a bit different. It was a bit unsettling to eat in the lobby, but since we got a good deal on the room, I can't complain. The facilities are a bit old, but I wouldn't say no to staying here again. Thank you so much to the woman at the front desk for everything!

On September 1st (Friday), during my summer vacation, I went to Sapporo. I took summer vacation from August 31st and used the Adult Holiday Club Pass to travel to Hokkaido by train. Yesterday, after having dinner, I checked into the "Toyoko Inn Sapporo Station South Exit" near Sapporo Station. This hotel includes breakfast, so I had breakfast at the hotel. They served simple dishes like shumai, potato salad, and rolled omelette, which was enough for breakfast. Today, they also had curry, so I had a hearty meal with rice and now my stomach is full.

I visited during my trip to Sapporo. [Location] It is located at North 3 West 1, in the middle of the street, so it may be a little hard to find. It's less than a 5-minute walk to Sapporo Station, so it's convenient. [Food] ・Breakfast buffet [Impression] It's a free breakfast buffet service from Toyoko Inn. I was expecting onigiri, but they didn't have any, instead they had cooked rice which was an unusual impression for me (maybe I just didn't know?). The taste was not particularly delicious (lol), but if you can eat for free and stay at this low price, it's great. I would like to use it again when I go to Sapporo next time.

The breakfast here follows the standards of Toyoko Inn, but the aunties prepare it with care and the presentation is thoughtful. The taste is consistent, but it has a slightly cozy feel. The location of the inn is convenient, just a five-minute walk from Susukino entertainment district. The building seems to have been a weekly apartment before, so the rooms are spacious with a sink. There is also a large communal bath on the first floor. The lobby is a bit unique, with the front desk resembling a bar counter (laughs). The dining area is slightly larger than other Toyoko Inns. We didn't use it, but there are four multi-level parking spaces inside the building with plenty of room.

I used the breakfast service during my stay on September 17th and 18th, 2011. As expected from Toyoko Inn, breakfast is included with the stay. The breakfast is served in the lobby in front of the front desk. The menu includes three types of onigiri, rice, miso soup, croissant-like bread and sliced bread, macaroni salad, and eggs in a buffet style. Coffee is self-service and free. The seating area is limited, so there may be a wait when the hotel is busy, and it can be a bit noisy with people coming and going in front of the front desk. Other than that, I have no complaints about the free breakfast. I was able to have a satisfying meal in the morning.
