The other day, I was invited by a friend to a restaurant for the first time. The interior was small and had a cozy, homey atmosphere. After taking a seat, I ordered some drinks and meat. The quality of the meat was very high and delicious. I especially enjoyed the sukiyaki-style dish; the meat was tender and incredibly tasty.

The superb kalbi, tongue, and hormone are all piled high with tender meat. The taste is great, the prices are reasonable, and the service and the owner's character are excellent. This place is just as delicious as the famous Yakiniku restaurant, Jojoen. Plus, the prices are much more affordable. Be sure to check it out!

This is a popular, homey yakiniku restaurant where the staff's warm atmosphere is strong, and the food is incredibly delicious. Personally, I think the chigirichiku (thinly sliced beef) is outstanding, and I ended up ordering more on top of the mixed platter. It was the last day of a three-day weekend, so there were a few ingredients that were out of stock, but the excellent service and tasty food make me want to come back again. I will definitely make use of this place again. They are open late, which seems to make it a convenient option. If you're in Sapporo and in need of something late at night, this is the place to go!

At the third bar of the day, we cheers with draft beer and a platter of fresh tongue and hormone at "Yakiniku Hormone Shin Narubonz" in Susukino. After the farewell party, it turned into a solo drinking session. Recently, my trend has been to have yakiniku before wrapping up the night. I found this yakiniku place close to my hotel and decided to go in. I asked for recommendations and got fresh tongue and hormone. It was served in about 10 minutes. The presentation was beautiful, and the taste was great too.

The Meimon Yakiniku restaurant, which has 70 locations in Tokyo, is finally opening in Sapporo! The quality at this price is amazing! It's set to open in July 2024, and it will likely become a place where reservations are a must. I highly recommend going now while you still can!

The Yakiniku Hormone Shin Narubozu Sapporo Susukino Branch has opened, following the establishment of the Fresh Lamb Genghis Khan Shin Narubozu Susukino Branch. I had planned to visit after a sake event, and I ended up going with a fellow reviewer I randomly encountered at that same sake gathering. The staff recognized me from my previous visit to the Fresh Lamb Genghis Khan branch and greeted me warmly, which I appreciated. I am thankful for our meeting and for all the delicious food and drinks! I chose a selection from their affordable menu featuring various cuts of meat and enjoyed six different types of grilled meat. First was the exquisite black wagyu kalbi, which, when lightly grilled and dipped in a yolk sauce, truly conveyed the rich flavor of the beef. The "Bonzu Mori" included some rare cuts, notably the "Chiguchi," which is said to be from between the tongue and the throat, providing a wonderfully crunchy texture. The "Jou Mino" was also nicely chewy and delicious, while the "Tan Shita" had a robust flavor and was quite enjoyable. I finished off with some fresh "Jou Reba," which was a delightful end to the meal. As a preview for my next visit, I received a discount coupon, so I plan to return soon! After meat, more meat. After sake, more meat. When I'm with the meat master, this is our fate. The face-revealed meat master is quite the celebrity (laughs). First up, we have to start with beer. Since it's been all sake until now, this is my first beer. It's really delicious. From the four signature dishes of Bonzu, we ordered the Bonzu platter and the exquisite black wagyu beef with an egg to mix in, and it’s absolutely amazing. The Bonzu platter features a variety of cuts—some crunchy and some creamy. And then there’s their pride and joy: the beef liver. Cooked nicely, it's just perfect. This place is definitely worth coming back to. Thank you for the meal!

The excellent kalbi was amazing! It was so delicious that I ended up ordering more! Haha. The owner, staff, and regular customers were all vibrant and cheerful, making it a wonderful place! Since it was my first time staying in Sapporo, I didn’t know any restaurants, but I’m really glad I found such a great one! I definitely want to come back next year (during the marathon).
