I went to my usual Pokhara Dining Enkai store for dinner in Enkai Town. When looking at the menu, I wanted to eat cheese naan, so I chose the cheese naan set. The cheese naan set includes one curry of your choice and a drink of your choice. The cheese naan was piping hot, almost to the point of burning, but it was delicious. You can enjoy the cheese naan on its own. At Pokhara Dining, you can have unlimited naan and rice, so I added an extra plain naan. It was freshly baked, big, and delicious. I was completely full.

Visiting with my family for a homecoming trip. The seating space is spacious and relaxing compared to Tokyo restaurants, allowing for a private atmosphere. The restaurant is run by a Nepalese family, and the combination of naan and soup curry is unique, but surprisingly delicious!

I had lunch in Tohoku today. The two restaurants I was aiming for were both closed. It happens often (laughs). I decided to go to Pokara Dining and have curry instead. The parking lot was crowded, and the restaurant was packed! It seems like this place is really popular in Tohoku. Last time I had soup curry, so this time I decided to get a curry set. I was a little indecisive, but I ended up ordering the Himalaya set. It came with shrimp curry, spinach chicken curry, chicken, and salad. It also came with a huge naan, mini rice, and a drink. It's really cheap. The naan was soft and filling. I ordered the curry at maximum spiciness, but it wasn't spicy at all. I added a lot of spices from the table. I'm really happy that it came with mini rice. Japanese people really do crave curry and rice. I ate too much and now I'm worried about my weight...

In Togeshi, a branch of Pokara Dining has opened. It's like Namaste Nepal in Monbetsu. The parking lot is spacious, which is nice. The interior is also spacious, making it a relaxing place to enjoy a meal. The menu is similar to other Nepalese curry restaurants. I ordered the mutton and vegetable soup curry with a spice level of 5. I also got the chicken sag curry and tandoori chicken to go. The soup curry is the type commonly found in Nepalese restaurants. The vegetables were cooked well. I usually order chicken in soup curry, but at Nepalese restaurants, I prefer mutton. The unique smell of mutton goes well with the spices. The small portion of turmeric rice was surprisingly filling. I'll have the tandoori chicken for a drink later and the chicken sag curry for breakfast tomorrow. The restaurant was quite crowded, probably because it's newly opened. There were a lot of takeout orders. I'd like to try their set menu next time for a good deal.

They didn't come when I called at 11:00, but about 5 minutes later they brought water and took our order. It seemed a bit late at 11:25. My partner and I thought it was slow. The food arrived about 30 minutes after we entered the restaurant.

I am dining alone at Pokara Dining in Tohoku today. I didn't have much time, so I chose Tohoku to be more efficient. I made a memo to make the most of my time, but things didn't go as planned. I couldn't complete my afternoon plans smoothly, so I thought I should try to earn as much as possible in Tohoku. While running, I came across a curry restaurant. It seemed to be a soup curry shop, but they also had regular curry. I checked and found out they offer takeout too. I called and ordered the Chicken Vegetable Curry. It seems they don't have pork. I prefer pork over chicken, but it seems they cater more to foreigners. The staff spoke with a bit of hesitation but were almost perfect in listening. I asked if they offered takeout, and they confirmed. I ordered the Chicken Vegetable Curry and mistakenly asked for naan instead of rice. The parking lot was full, but there were empty seats inside. The staff were all foreigners and very welcoming. The curry was slightly expensive, but it smelled amazing. It was full of ingredients and had a strong spice aroma. The naan was delicious, and dipping it in the curry made it even better. The curry had a spice level of 5, which was quite spicy but still enjoyable. Overall, it was a delicious curry, and the naan complemented it perfectly.
