Every year, the popular "Haru Musubi" furoshiki-wrapped box filled with pink sweets is a must-have. This year's furoshiki seems very spring-like, with a special assortment of popular confections only available in spring. The assortment includes 18 pieces: 2 small Ichigo Sanpaku, 2 small Plain Sanpaku, 3 Ichigo Happy Moon, 2 Tsuki Fuwari, 3 Haru no Sakura Sen, 2 Haru Kaze no Dorasan, 2 Anbata San, and 2 Tokachi Kono Mi. It looks like a happy spring-themed selection. Although I usually try to avoid sweets, I couldn't resist the Anbata San. It's different from the famous Marsei Butter, but it's absolutely delicious! Thank you so much! Itadakimasu~!

Daimaru Sapporo Souvenir④ Another souvenir that I was interested in☆ Anko butter treats are always delicious, so you can purchase with confidence (*´∀`) ● An Butter Sand 4 pieces 600 yen The crispy cookies are filled with anko butter. It doesn't taste like anko, but more like a buttery flavor. Personally, I really liked the combination of anko and butter☆ I would like to buy it again. Thank you for the meal (*´艸`*)

I purchased "Tokachikku Basque ~ Karabassa" at "Yuzuki". It is a pumpkin-flavored Basque cheesecake. The cake is securely packaged to prevent it from shifting. When cut into quarters, it has a smooth texture resembling pumpkin pudding with a hint of cream cheese tartness. I also tried "An Butter Sand", which is a butter cream sandwiched between sablé cookies with red bean paste. The sablé has a crumbly texture with a slight graininess from the red bean paste. The butter cream used in this version is different from the one I tried at FamilyMart, and it tastes delicious. These items are also available in gift boxes, making them a great souvenir option.

Yesterday I passed by Yanagi Tsuki at Daimaru and discovered ohagi! So I bought some! The food these days seems to be quite health-conscious. The sweetness is kept in check. The mochi rice is soft and just right, with a perfect match with the sweet red bean paste. The red bean paste has a slight salty taste, maybe to bring out the sweetness.

When I visited Sapporo this time, I was attracted by a limited-time offer and bought it as a souvenir for my family. Sanpouroku offers a variety of flavors, but this time it was rich yet not too sweet, making it perfect for accompanying coffee. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I bought "Buscue Carabassa" at "Yanagitsuki" after seeing the commercial and I absolutely had to try it. The pumpkin-flavored Buscue is cut into quarters, very moist and smooth, with a caramel at the bottom, resembling a firm pudding. It has a cream cheese flavor with a hint of pumpkin sweetness. I wish there was a bit more pumpkin flavor, but it's delicious. I've never tried the normal Buscue, but I wonder if it's tasty too. I'll try it next time. "Yanagitsuki" is located at Daimaru Sapporo, B1F, 4-7 Kita 5 Jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo. Phone: 011-252-3366. Open from 10:00 to 20:00.

I received a gift of "Yuzuki" and from that day on, it all started. When I came to the neurosurgery department, I realized that each person's consultation time is long, like a walk-in appointment without a reservation. It took about two and a half hours, or maybe more. During that time, I felt sleepy, tired, had a fever, and my head hurt so much that I felt like I wanted to die. Unexpectedly, I was diagnosed with a serious illness and had to be hospitalized. When did I even eat? Anyway, it's a hot time of year, but when you're not feeling well, the heat can be tough. They seem to release these assortments based on the season. The packaging is cute, but the lid is surprisingly difficult to open. It's orange jelly with a yuzu scent, but I prefer just plain orange. There are also orange syrup-soaked pieces in it. The assortment also includes Tokachi fruit jelly with grapes. It's smooth and you eat it chilled. The grapes are whole and the flavor is like eating the fruit itself. The sweetness is not overpowering. Well, as I was thinking about my impressions, it was already gone.

2020/9 First Visit "Arrival Series" "An Butter San♪ An Butter San♪ An Butter San!!♬" This is also a CM break product from "Yanagitsuki" in Tokachi Obihiro. Along with "Tokachic Buscue," this CM is memorable. Lately, I haven't received many gifts. It's been a while since I reviewed a gift. "An Butter San" costs 150 yen. At one point, it was quite difficult to get this snack. Now, it seems to be more readily available, and I finally got to try it through a gift. The illustrations and music in the CM are quite catchy. Recently, I think "Yanagitsuki" has been successful in their CM strategy. They seem to be consciously imitating "Rokkatei's" "Marsei Butter" with a retro-chic design that is trademarked. While the butter cookie is similar to "Marsei Butter," "An Butter San" uses Tokachi red bean paste instead of raisins. Butter and red bean paste go well together, as expected. However, with these gift products, the "image" is also important. Their new product "Lambaja" is also being advertised in the CM. I wonder if someone will bring it as a gift.

I visited the shop to buy souvenirs, but ended up selecting what I wanted to eat (lol). *Tokachic Basque Cheese Cake (1500 yen) I've always been curious about Basque cheese cake, but it's always sold out whenever I try to buy it. The box is quite big, so I thought it would contain a large cheesecake, but it turned out to be smaller than expected. The caramel sauce was described as adding a bitter touch, but I felt the caramel was a bit too overpowering. The cheesecake itself was delicious, but I was a bit disappointed. *An Butter Sand (150 yen) I didn't find An Butter Sand appealing when I tried it before, but it became a big hit due to a morning drama and kept selling out. I bought it again for a reevaluation. It's a moist sablé with an butter cream filling. It was tasty, but I still think it's not as amazing as people make it out to be. *Sanpuroku (Matcha) (760 yen) Yuki no Tsuki's Sanpuroku. I've loved it since I was a child!! Matcha-infused and moist Baumkuchen. I prefer it slightly chilled. As expected, the reliable Sanpuroku was the most delicious!!

In the Sapporo Station area, there is a store called Yanagitsuki located in the Daimaru underground food market. I visited this place for a "revenge" after not being able to buy "An Butter Sand" and "Basque" at a different store the other day due to them being sold out. This time, I went in the morning and both items were in stock. I purchased a variety of sweets including the ones in the photo. The An Butter Sand had a light texture with red bean paste and butter cream, and the sweetness was just right, very delicious. The Basque had a rich taste like cheesecake, a bit too rich for my liking, but I think it would be great for those who love cheesecake. Personally, I prefer "Sanpuroku" the most, but all the sweets were tasty and reasonably priced, so I recommend them for gifts as well.

2020 Hokkaido Pilgrimage Trip Shopping at Daimaru, I saw it over there, it's Yagitsuki-san, my favorite sweets. Sanpuroku is the best for me. Let's buy this for myself. This season, they have maple flavor. The base is white chocolate, and they have seasonal flavors like maple and chocolate. This time, I bought the slightly expensive maple flavor. I already like Baumkuchen, and I particularly like the chocolate coating on the outer rim. This time, I think it's my second time trying the maple flavor. The scent of maple before taking a bite is delightful, and enjoying the aroma while eating the moist and not too sweet Baumkuchen is delicious. I used to order about five of these at a time, it's a favorite that I want to keep on hand. Occasionally, it appears at antenna shops in the Kanto region, so it's a must-buy. This is something I won't get tired of eating.

Yanagitsuki is located on the basement floor of Daimaru Sapporo. It's a bit hard to find as it's at the end. Once you enter Daimaru, if you walk along the wall, you'll easily spot the shop. What caught my eye right away was the An Butter Sand in the refrigerated showcase. There were only 2 boxes left. I couldn't resist buying them... (´・ω・`) But it's okay! I love them. The soft texture of the dough that quickly melts in your mouth, with a strong buttery flavor, and the mildly sweet red bean paste, they go so well together, right? This got me hooked on bread with red bean paste and butter. It's delicious, so it's all good. Thank you for the meal! (*´▽`*)

I often buy sweets here. This time, I purchased "Northern Connection (red bean) ¥120" and "An Butter Sandwich ¥150". "Northern Connection" has a buttery pie crust filled with red bean paste. The combination of butter and red bean paste is a classic that rarely disappoints. The crispy pie crust complements the flavors perfectly. "An Butter Sandwich" also uses red bean paste and butter sandwiched between shortbread cookies. The salty shortbread adds a nice touch. I tried this a few years ago and it's still delicious.

After a long time, I am spending a relaxing weekend at home on Sunday. I felt a little hungry, so I had some tea with the best Yuzuki tea sweets. This time, I had Kuzukiri and it was delicious.

I visited for a light meal. I went alone. Here are some thoughts:
- Located on the first basement floor of Daimaru Sapporo store.
- Bought a pack of Sanpachi Roku.
- Comes in a pack of 5.
- Paid with PayPay.
- Baumkuchen cut into bite-sized pieces and coated in chocolate.
- Very delicious.

A souvenir from Hokkaido, Baumkuchen. It seems to be from a confectionery manufacturer in Obihiro. The round cake is sliced on the side like a comb, with pear or apple cut into pieces and individually wrapped. The packaging is rectangular. I usually avoid overly sweet treats, but this one was moist and not too sweet, so I enjoyed it. The ingredients include chicken eggs, sugar, wheat, butter (all from Hokkaido), vegetable oil, corn syrup, liquor, whole milk powder, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, emulsifier (soy-derived), leavening agent, and flavoring (orange-derived). The charmingly written product information gives a warm impression.

I wandered around Daimaru and bought some snacks for my family ^_^ Everyone loves Sanpuroku, so it's a safe choice. It looks like a souvenir, so I don't buy it often, but it looked delicious, so I bought it for a taste test. Hokkaido seems to have a white image. The popular ◯ya Seika's "Shiroi Koi" and Yuzuki's Sanpuroku in a rich white color. It must be because it gives the impression of a world covered in snow. Now for the taste test! It's sweeter than regular Sanpuroku with white chocolate, but the sweetness is balanced and it has a rich milky flavor. It would have been nice to buy the traditional one to compare them side by side σ(^_^;) But does anyone actually use this sawtooth knife...? (laughs) It's a great item that can be used as a gift from outside the prefecture! Thank you for the meal ^_^
