I went to "Bonchi" for yakitori after a long time. It was around 7 pm on Saturday and I didn't make a reservation, but I managed to get a seat at the counter. The table seats and counter were all reserved. They don't have draft beer, so I started with a 633ml bottle of beer. The appetizer was the usual pickled herring, which was delicious with the perfect amount of salt and marination. I ordered 7 skewers from the right side of the menu. They were served hot as soon as they were grilled. They were all delicious, but the standout was the juicy chicken skewers and the sauce for the tsukune and chappu. The chicken meat skewered on a gold skewer had different sizes and parts, which added to its juiciness and perfect saltiness. Unfortunately, the new seasonal item was only available by reservation. The lighting inside the restaurant was a bit dim, so the photos didn't turn out very clear.

It's a little past 5:30 PM and the restaurant is about 60% full. I had bottled beer, chicken skewers, pork skewers, and salted chicken skin. The owner is always friendly, and it's a comfortable place to eat alone. The lemon sour was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

It was a weekday night in mid-June. Despite being open for only about 15 minutes, the restaurant was already bustling. I had a large bottle of beer, pickled herring as a complimentary appetizer, chicken skewers, pork skewers, tongue skewers, and tomato salt skewers. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Bonchi-san's restaurant, which I had always been curious about because of the red lantern outside. The interior had a calm atmosphere, perfect for enjoying drinks at the counter. We started with pickled herring and edamame as appetizers, and toasted with a large bottle of beer. The menu mainly consisted of yakitori, so we ordered chicken skewers, gizzards, chicken wings, chicken hearts, and chicken liver. Each dish had a satisfying portion size and the seasoning was just right, making the beer go down smoothly. The chicken wings and chicken hearts were especially delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Welcome.---------- October 2021 ----------It's been a while since I've been here. The nostalgic noren curtain here that I love, no one knows who copied it. The Showa-era vibe is strong, and the atmosphere inside is very calming. The second-generation master is very humble and incredibly polite. The "beer" is a large bottle of "Super Nigai". The "chop" is a thick-cut pork shoulder, incredibly juicy. The sauce, with over 60 years of history, has a richness and umami that can't be beat. The "tsukune" is simple and elongated, with a soft texture. The "tongue" is hot but has a firm chewiness and elasticity. The "chicken" has a unique flatness, with crispy skin and a tight meat texture. If this were domestically produced, it would be even softer. Maybe it's better to come here not just for the skewers, but to savor the master and the sauce through the food. They spare no effort in their commitment to charcoal, space, and service.

I visited here after a long time because I wanted to eat chaps. Chaps are not often seen in Sapporo, but they are common in Asahikawa. They are delicious here at Bonchi. The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice, so I want to come here often. However, the cost performance is a little high. If you stay for a long time, the price can get quite high. It's good for a quick drink though. But I still want to come here because the place is so cozy. Thank you for the meal.

I got zero visits yesterday and this morning when I tried to go early, it was already closed. I had a feeling it would happen, so I decided to take it easy. I'm alone at Bonchi in Sapporo, I'm a country guy with a lot of experience in Susukino. It was supposed to be empty, but it wasn't that empty. I just walked around without thinking of where to go. I always want to eat yakitori, but I haven't had any today. I saw "yakitori" written on the sign, so I decided to go in. The counter is long and I can't see the end, it's a deep restaurant. The tables are also there. When I sat at the counter and looked at the menu, I couldn't believe it - beer for 800 yen. Is this really a happy hour? Where is the happy feeling? But it's written there, so I had to order a beer. Special beers really taste different, it's strange. The pickles were not very tasty. The pork skewers were good, although they looked a bit overcooked. I can't drink multiple 800 yen beers, so I just had one and then left. I have to go home soon or it will affect my driving tomorrow. Despite the gap between the appearance and the service, it was enjoyable. It was a good experience, don't you think?

Drinking started at 6:00 pm on this day. The temperature was over 30 degrees, and the Susukino Festival beer garden was lively with drinkers. It felt like the bubble era. Being able to enjoy alcohol stress-free is the greatest happiness. Ah, I want to live a stress-free life every day. With that in mind, we ordered cold tofu, pork skewers, tongue, liver, tsukune, ground pork sausages, and grilled eggplant. It seems like we can't stop eating. We sat at the counter, enjoying freshly grilled dishes one after another. Then we switched from beer to sake, listening to our friends' work complaints. There are so many things in that person's life, company... There's a song playing in my head, "With love to the warriors fighting." This PV is really well done... Now, let's wash away all the accumulated things with alcohol and move on to the next bar.

The entrance was nice, but the inside was a bit cramped, giving it a somewhat uncomfortable feeling. The atmosphere is good, but it's on the pricey side, especially the beer. In the end, the total bill was reasonable. It was just me and a friend, but the space felt a bit unsettling. Be cautious as the beer prices are high, so if you plan on mainly drinking, it can end up being more expensive than expected.
