At the traffic signal of "Shinsei-cho 3-chome" on the bus street, you'll see a flag for Gallette as soon as you enter the road on the side of the Cosmo Oil store. The parking lot is for 2 cars on the 1st floor. A popular takeout item is the "Magic Gallette" for 1300 yen, which is packed with seasonal vegetables and meat such as carrots, lotus root, red radish, lettuce, wasabi greens, burdock, mini tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, corn, beans, and quinoa. The root vegetables are seasoned, and the zucchini seemed more like pickles than pickles. Even my eldest daughter, who doesn't like zucchini, was eating it. Eating the special jelly and egg yolk as a sauce was delicious. The ingredients vary depending on the season, and the meat included duck, prosciutto, and chicken. The thick slices make it very filling. Oh, and there was also a little cilantro, which I used to dislike, but in small amounts, it added a nice accent and was surprisingly delicious. I was recommended the "Roll Gallette" for 780 yen, which includes vegetables like lettuce, carrots, bell peppers, chicken, cream cheese, and burdock. The burdock had a delicious flavor. I have never eaten Gallette before, so I can't compare, but the taste was very delicious. With plenty of vegetables, it's healthy and easy to eat, making it great for bento boxes, picnics, and road trips. I thought it was a bit pricey, but considering the quality and quantity of the ingredients, it's worth it. The seasoning is delicious, so I imagine the other Gallettes are also tasty. The cheerful and friendly female manager, who runs the place alone, is easy to talk to and has a lovely smile. If you don't want to wait, I recommend ordering by phone or online. Web orders are accepted 24 hours a day from 10:00 to 14:00. The opening hours are from 11:30 to 15:00, Thursday to Sunday. The business hours are short, and they are only open on weekends. They opened in late March, and I had wanted to go since then, but it was a bit far from home, so I couldn't find the right timing until now. There were also dessert Gallettes available, with the fruit content changing depending on the season. On the day I visited, they had Shine Muscat, which the manager said doesn't have a high profit margin. I would like to try the other Gallettes as well.
