This is a place in Toyohira-ku, specifically in Tsukisamu Higashi 1-jo 4-chome. Across the street from the restaurant is the currently under construction Minami Tax Office. For the exact location, as always, please check the map on Tabelog. A ramen enthusiast recommended this place, mentioning that they use noodles from Otaru's "Abe Seimen," which is not commonly seen in Sapporo. Intrigued, I decided to visit. Upon arrival, I noticed the ramen flag outside the shop and headed in. While there is a lunch menu displayed outside, this is clearly a ramen shop. I entered and took a seat at a table away from the counter where another customer was smoking. After looking at the menu, I decided to order the "Emperor Salt Ramen," which was 100 yen more expensive than the regular miso and soy ramen options. The ramen arrived in about 7-8 minutes, with various toppings and a clear soup that seemed promising. The soup, a chicken-based broth with a hint of seafood dashi, was easy to drink but slightly on the salty side, making it hard to determine if it truly lived up to its name of "Emperor Salt." The noodles were thicker than the usual Kushiro noodles and had a good chewy texture, likely due to a slightly higher water content. As for the toppings, there were two slices of chashu, menma, chingensai, seaweed, and what I thought was green onions, but surprise! It also included stir-fried bean sprouts, onions, and ground meat. The ramen seemed to have a bit too much going on in terms of toppings, and personally, I would have preferred a simpler option at a lower price point, perhaps around 600 yen.
