I arrived at 12:40 and had to wait for 2 groups ahead of me. I lined up in front of the store. I ordered the soy sauce chashu based on a review on Tabelog that said it had a lot of soy sauce. It was a bit disappointing that it didn't come with the normal egg and wheat gluten that usually come with it. The owner seemed to be quite old, so I assume it's a long-standing shop. The garlic-infused soy sauce soup had a slightly sweet taste, and the noodles were curly noodles with egg that soaked up the soy sauce well, giving it a classic Sapporo ramen feel. Today I was finally able to come to this beauty salon after seeing this person here. I arrived at the opening and I was already second in line. After reading everyone's reviews, I struggled between miso, curry, or spicy, but ended up choosing miso curry with extra green onions. It was delicious, that's all I can say. The noodles and soup were so good that I wanted to eat more! I will definitely come back for the miso next time.

Last year, I tried going to this place once when I was going to Hello Work, but it was super crowded during the weekday lunchtime so I had to give up. Today, I happened to pass by the restaurant when I was almost becoming a lunch refugee, and to my surprise, there was no line! I parked my car nearby and went in, finding all the counter seats empty. I quickly sat down and ordered the "shoyu ramen" for ¥700 including tax. Since it was lunchtime, I also got a small bowl of rice. After about 5-6 minutes, my order was ready, and I grabbed it from the counter. Just as I started eating, more customers started coming in, and the place was full before I knew it. The soup was hot and quite flavorful, coating the noodles nicely. The noodles had a good taste and texture, and I found myself enjoying the richness of the soup. The pork was tender but lacked a bit of flavor. I left one piece to eat with the rice later. The rice was delicious and went well with the remaining soup. However, the soup itself was too salty for my liking. Despite that, the combination of the salty soup and the noodles was strangely satisfying, making me want to gulp it down. It must be the magic of the sunflower.

I have been visiting this restaurant with my family for over ten years. The interior is not very spacious and fills up quickly. Everything is incredibly delicious, but the depth and richness of the soy sauce is addictive. I never get tired of eating it. I love spicy miso, so I often order the spicy miso and extra spicy options, but the curry dishes, which are considered secondary, are also very tasty, especially the miso curry. My son is hooked on the red miso and orders it every time. The firmness, chewiness, and texture of the noodles are top-notch. The soup also has a hidden flavor, I wonder what it is. We often try out other ambitious ramen shops as well, but we haven't found one that surpasses this place. It's the absolute standard for us. It's a restaurant that never disappoints, no matter who you recommend it to, and it's always delicious whenever you go. Despite the recent rise in ingredient prices, they have been working hard without raising prices, but they are planning to increase prices from 3/16. It's a great loss that the grated garlic is no longer available on the table. It gets quite crowded during lunchtime, so I recommend either entering right at opening time or going after 2 pm. I highly recommend it to everyone ❤️

It's been a while since I had sunflower ramen. It's located in a hard-to-access area, so a car is necessary, but there is no parking lot, so I parked at a nearby parking lot. I chose the ramen set with a time service, which included soy sauce ramen and a mini fried rice. I added extra fu topping since it was 50 yen off. The soup had a strong soy sauce flavor, and the fu soaked up the soup nicely. The chashu was tender and delicious. The mini fried rice was about one and a half bowls worth. Thank you for the meal!

White miso ramen, firm noodles, extra green onions. It's been a while, my second visit. Just like last time, the restaurant is bustling during lunchtime. Since there is no parking lot, I used a nearby coin parking lot to visit. Despite being a light miso flavor, the richness of the meat spreads out, attacking the inside of the mouth along with the sweetness of the vegetables. Somehow, even though it looks voluminous, I finished eating it quickly. It seemed like many people order the white miso, but now I'm curious to try other flavors. Thank you for the meal.

Salt Ramen Set 650 yen, Mini Fried Rice, Lunch Service 250 yen, 900 yen. Hmm, delicious. The noodles are like Sapporo ramen, with a firm texture. The broth is made with chicken bones, maybe whole chicken, it has a unique flavor. It's rare for a salt ramen to have this much garlic... it packs a punch. They might be using chicken oil, green onion oil... both maybe. The fried rice is slightly moist and fluffy, with a gentle seasoning that's not too light but tasty. However, since the ramen has a strong flavor, it's better to eat the fried rice first.

I would like to have the Soy Sauce Curry Ramen in December 2022, and I visited a sister restaurant of Tora no Tora. There is no parking lot, and there is no coin parking nearby, which is a drawback. I asked if it was possible to add extra spiciness to the Soy Sauce Curry Ramen, and they said it could be done for an additional 30 yen. I also requested toppings of green onions and the lunch service rice. The food was served in less than 10 minutes. The ramen had plenty of green onions on top, and the spicy curry on the soup was delicious and paired well with the soy sauce broth. The soup was piping hot, and the level of spiciness was just right, with a rich flavor that complemented the rice perfectly. The noodles were cooked just right and delicious. The green onions were soft and recommended for those who like them. It was a spicy soy sauce curry that I really enjoyed. The rice was also fluffy and delicious.

So, I decided to visit this place which I consider a top-notch restaurant! And let me tell you, it is delicious (*`ڡ´●) As you eat, the curry paste gradually melts into the base soup, creating a perfect balance of saltiness and gentle spiciness. The chewy noodles, combined with the shabu-toro soup infused with soy sauce and curry, are incredibly tasty! The soft bean sprouts with a hint of crunchiness, the fragrant and flavorful coarsely ground meat, and the simple yet effective menma all play their roles perfectly. So delicious! As I chased after the soup, before I knew it, I had finished every last drop (￣▽￣;) Even on a warm day like this, eating spicy curry ramen makes me sweat... Sunflower Ramen is the only choice, and it continues to be delicious. However, it seems like the owner and the lady are becoming a bit cold day by day. For now, the deliciousness of the soy sauce ramen outweighs this, so I will continue to visit.

I had white miso ramen. The price of 700 yen is rare in this day and age and very much appreciated (shoyu and shio are only 650 yen!). The noodles, soup, chashu, and egg were all delicious. It's a perfect dish, and I am completely satisfied. As a Sapporo resident, this miso ramen is exactly what I think of as Sapporo ramen! The restaurant is physically small (5 counter seats + 2 tables), so there might be a line if it's busy, but I would wait in line to eat this ramen again.

After searching on a certain website, I decided to visit the one that was at the top of the list. It's located near the Sapporo Streetcar Yamahana West Line in Sapporo. The closest tram stop is West Line 9-jo Asahiyama Park Street. When I arrived around 11:30 am, there was already one customer dining. Looking at the menu, they had two types of curry ramen: soy sauce and miso. The lunch set includes ramen with a choice of mini curry or mini fried rice, which is usually 300 yen but discounted to 250 yen. I decided to go with the mini fried rice. The curry ramen was 950 yen, and I added a boiled egg for an extra 80 yen. It arrived in about 7 minutes. The ramen had a thick oil film on top, similar to Sapporo-style ramen. The curry sauce was poured over it, and it came with three half-boiled eggs and green onions. The default is one half-boiled egg, it seems. The curry ramen wasn't as spicy as expected, so it had a mild curry flavor. The balance was quite good, with no overpowering elements. The mini fried rice portion was surprisingly generous, not too dry or salty. Overall, it was a decent meal. Next time, I might opt for regular soy sauce ramen with mini curry instead.
