I visited the flower shop on the first floor of Hotel Royal Kitami. They had some unusual varieties of houseplants, so it's quite an interesting flower shop. I sometimes drop by to check it out. This time, I bought a couple of plants. Then, I went to the cafe in the back of the flower shop. It's called "Flower Cafe Jiyu-ka," but I've requested a name change, and they still haven't changed it. The flower shop occupies a large space in the first-floor lobby. The cafe is a small corner of that space. The same person runs both places. I had a "soft serve ice cream" for 350 yen. It had colorful chocolate spray toppings, which was nice. The texture was a bit firm, but it was delicious with a rich flavor. Enjoying soft serve ice cream surrounded by flowers and greenery was really nice. I'll visit again for sure.

The situation may have changed due to measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but I finally posted this since I had saved the photos. It's a flower shop on the first floor of Hotel Royal Kitami. It seems like they started a crepe and soft-serve ice cream shop as a hobby. I happened to come across it in January when I was driving by. I visited right before closing, so I couldn't have a crepe, but I did have their delicious soft-serve ice cream. It was sweet and had a nice texture.
