I flew to Chitose for a visit and decided to stop by at Rera. It seemed like the area was becoming more deserted. There used to be a fruit sandwich shop, but it had changed to a different store. I decided to take a look around and chose purple sweet potato cream daifuku, matcha cream daifuku, cheese cream daifuku, walnut daifuku, sesame walnut dango, and warabi mochi. While I was examining the items outside the store, the staff kindly offered me some samples of warabi mochi and sweet potato snacks to try. Everything was soft and chewy, especially the dango which seemed like it could be easily chewed with just my gums. I avoided the meat buns due to the hot weather, but I might consider trying them next time. The staff's friendly comment after I paid, "Please enjoy your meal," left a lasting impression.

This is Chitose Outlet Mall Rera. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, they have been operating as a temporary event sales for the past year, but now they have become a permanent tenant, appearing on Rera's website shop guide and building map. They sell various types of wagashi (Japanese sweets), including Choco Mochi for 200 yen and Strawberry Choco Mochi for 200 yen. The shop has a lively atmosphere and there are cute discoveries like "Mochi~" written on the signage, so it seems to be mochi. The mochi has a chewy but light texture that melts in your mouth, with a very strong sweetness. There are benches with a Japanese umbrella-like atmosphere nearby, as well as regular table seats where you can sit and relax. The staff was offering samples to everyone with a very friendly and welcoming customer service. Thank you for the meal.
