I wanted to casually go for some yakitori without a reservation, but it seemed like all the restaurants were full with waiting customers visible from the outside. I decided to check out a place that had availability on the Hot Pepper app and made a reservation right away. By the way, if you enter and reserve a course now, you can get 500 points! They offer a 90-minute all-you-can-eat and drink lamb and pork shabu-shabu for 3950 yen (tax included). Oh, I can reserve it now for 3900 yen? Perfect! I started with some vegetables and soon the meat arrived. I noticed that the meat was actually formed meat, which I didn't realize last time. Be careful if you have a wheat allergy. I quickly put a few slices in and enjoyed it. The sauce was thick and the meat was quite fatty, so it was a bit heavy for me. I tried eating it with salt and pepper on a separate plate. In the end, my friend and I gave up after three plates of meat. I asked if they had ponzu sauce, but unfortunately they didn't have it.

In Asahikawa, this restaurant can be considered quite a longstanding establishment. I first visited Asahikawa two years ago and was taken here for the first time, where I tried lamb shabu-shabu for the first time in my life. Five years later, I made my second visit, and this time, my third visit. The only downside is that there is no parking lot, but there is a designated parking lot nearby. Oh, I made a mistake and parked in a non-designated parking lot. Oops! You can also order individual items, but most people opt for the all-you-can-eat or all-you-can-eat and drink option. The prices are as follows: Lamb for 2700 yen, Lamb and pork for 2850 yen, Lamb, pork, and beef for 3400 yen. Nowadays, even at all-you-can-eat places, it's hard to eat enough to make it worth the price. But it still feels like a better deal than ordering individual items. When we arrived, the table was already set. Most people here would probably go for shabu-shabu, so the special sauce is now a soy sauce-based one. While waiting for the water to boil, I enjoyed a drink. This time, I opted for the all-you-can-eat and drink option, and they separated the prices for those with alcohol and those without, which was very convenient. The vegetables were boiled first, including bean sprouts, watercress, lettuce, onions, and tofu. You can ask for refills, and it's okay even if you don't want all of them. It feels like you've eaten a lot of vegetables even after just having some bean sprouts! Then, the lamb arrived. It was beautifully red and looked very delicious. Each slice is shabu-shabu style, but it can be a bit of a hassle. So, I just put a few slices on top of the vegetables. Lamb shabu-shabu was quite a challenge for me the first time I tried it, but surprisingly, it didn't have the unique smell associated with lamb. The meat was very flavorful, and I enjoyed it. There were three condiments: green onions, grated radish with chili pepper, and grated onion with a hint of garlic. The sauce was soy sauce-based and slightly sweet, complementing the meat well. It's clear that they've designed it to enhance the shabu-shabu experience. I then tried the pork shabu-shabu, which I've come to enjoy more as I've gotten older. It was delicious, but when compared to lamb, the lamb had a stronger umami flavor. If I had to choose, I'd go for the lamb shabu-shabu. The salted rice ball was surprisingly tasty, and I had to resist getting more to save room for the meat. The salted rice ball was unexpectedly delicious. I also received ramen, and I asked for additional servings of pork and lamb. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and I particularly enjoyed the lamb shabu-shabu.

I participated in a point-earning campaign on Hot Pepper by booking a course reservation. Although the 90-minute course was not listed in the course section, there was a coupon for it in the coupon section, so I booked the 120-minute course and confirmed to switch to the 90-minute course when ordering. I started with a beer, followed by cabbage pickles and a variety of vegetables and pork and slightly questionable lamb meat for shabu-shabu. The rice was served in a barrel shape and was slightly firm and delicious. The pork was decent with a slightly fatty texture, but the strong flavor made me quickly get tired of it. I found the sauce to be more like a sweet and savory sukiyaki sauce rather than ponzu, which was unexpected. I added a lot of spice to try to balance it out. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of lamb, so the flavor mixed in the pot and made even the pork taste slightly lamb-like, which was disappointing. I wished the pot was divided into two sections as it is commonly done. Overall, the service was great, and if I have the chance to go back, I might bring my own ponzu sauce. The staff recommended ramen as a finishing dish, but I had reached my limit and declined. I prefer to fill up on meat rather than noodles, being a frugal housewife.

I felt like eating shabu-shabu, so I went and tried it out. There were three types of condiments available to add to the sauce, which allowed for a slight change in flavor. The lamb and pork were delicious, but the beef didn't really suit my taste. The prices were affordable, so it's easy to come back. I recommend sticking to the lamb and pork. I also tried the chicken meatball skewers.

The food was light and delicious! I ordered a combination of lamb and pork for the meat, and I personally prefer pork. You can also get plenty of vegetables, so shabu-shabu is the best! It feels like you can keep eating because it's healthy. There is also an all-you-can-eat option, which is recommended for those who like to eat a lot. I added plenty of condiments and ended up getting seconds. I definitely want to go back to this restaurant! ★

The center of Asahikawa is compact and convenient, with a variety of categories to choose from when looking for a place to eat at night. There are many small but unique restaurants with their own individual charm. I had my first encounter with lamb shabu-shabu during my first stay in Asahikawa at a beer hall on 1st Street. It was a limited-time menu item at that time, and I was disappointed when it disappeared from the menu afterwards. However, fate works in mysterious ways. One day, while relaxing at Hachijo Hot Spring, I came across an advertisement for your restaurant in a free paper. It was a dream come true - lamb shabu-shabu all-you-can-eat with all-you-can-drink alcohol. The experience was truly satisfying. This time when I visited, the restaurant was quite busy. It was a good decision to make a reservation in advance. The courses were served smoothly as I had informed them beforehand. We started with a platter of meat and vegetables for each person, along with rice balls. I always find the rice balls a bit out of place. They seem to dampen the mood when you are looking forward to indulging in shabu-shabu. However, I cannot leave them uneaten, so I have to deal with them first. The meat looks like a lot when served in a three-dimensional way, but it's just an illusion. It's very thin and shrinks slightly when dipped in the hot pot, giving a light and airy texture as if you were eating clouds. The aroma of the lamb is soft and inviting, making you feel like you could eat endless amounts. The pork has a sweet aroma and tastes delicious, but the fat can become a bit overwhelming as you eat more. This time, I tried a new method to make the shabu-shabu more delicious. I kept the hot pot at a consistent temperature and let the meat float without moving it for a while. When the color changed, I flipped it once and then removed it when it was cooked. This seemed to reduce the amount of scum that appeared in the broth. Of course, occasionally boiling the broth to remove any scum helps keep it clean. The vegetable platter included bean sprouts, onions, burdock root, spinach, and mizuna. I always feel that onions taste better when eaten at your restaurant. Perhaps it's because of the local produce. The grated daikon and red-leaf daikon radish as condiments also add a unique Hokkaido touch. I believe that onions, rather than daikon radish, go well with lamb. The thick, leafy spinach also has a rich flavor. To finish, we briefly cooked Asahikawa ramen in the hot pot. The salt and pepper seasoning provided for dipping in the meat broth was not available before, and it added a nice touch to the meal. The firm texture of Asahikawa ramen is very satisfying. Overall rating: 2.7. I felt that the sauce had changed slightly, with less sweetness, which I preferred. The sauce is not as thick as that of yakiniku sauce, so even if you leave the cooked meat in it, the flavor does not overpower. Furthermore, I have always thought that your sauce not only adds flavor but also helps to cool down the hot pot. The heat source is a gas stove, which is essential in the cold Hokkaido climate. The presence of the flame has a significant impact on the room temperature, as I noticed when the flames were extinguished after another table finished their meal. The eternal pedestrian paradise known as "Kaimono Koen" in Asahikawa is always completely snow-free, even in the middle of winter, making it safe to walk around. The restaurant is located along this street, so it's easy to find. Despite exploring various gourmet options in Asahikawa, I always end up coming back to your restaurant. Perhaps it's the irresistible allure of lamb. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I went to an all-you-can-eat restaurant and was surprised by the huge amount of food they served, especially the first plate of meat. The lamb was delicious and didn't have any unpleasant smell.

It's been a long time since my last visit. When a business has been around for so long, things tend to change. The atmosphere of the restaurant remains the same, but I noticed a slight change in the way the ingredients are served. The all-you-can-eat lamb and pork shabu-shabu started with a platter of lamb, pork, and vegetables (Chinese cabbage was omitted). The size of the meat was larger than before, and it felt quite hard when frozen. Especially the pork seemed downgraded. Previously, the pork was small in size, completely thawed, and very tender. I remember it was a brand pork called "Shiretoko" and there was a coupon in the free paper for a complimentary plate. The pork back then had thickness and was full of deliciousness without the fat being overwhelming. Now, it seems to be a reshaped belly part, sweet and delicious, but you can't eat too much due to the fat. The first plate looked nice in color, but from the second serving onwards, there were bloodstains making it less appealing. The taste remains the same, but the difference between the first plate and subsequent ones makes me feel a bit uneasy. The lamb and pork slices are very thin, so you just need to dip them in the boiling water for about 20 seconds without moving them. I usually take them out with a small bowl, let them cool a bit, and then eat them, taking into account the residual heat. The lamb doesn't have as much lean meat as beef and you can hardly feel the fat, making you feel like you could eat it endlessly. It's truly light and refreshing. The vegetables include lettuce and tasteless spinach for shabu-shabu, along with other vegetables like watercress, burdock, and onions. Onions become sweet and delicious when cooked. Grated onions as a condiment are spicy, so the contrast is very enjoyable. Let's call it a "tsundere" ingredient. The bean sprouts were lightly chopped and slightly discolored, lacking freshness. You should try the Asahikawa ramen for the finishing touch. If the curly noodles straighten out when pulled, it's a sign that they are ready to eat. I hope I'm not being too presumptuous. The sauce is soy sauce-based without any acidity, with a rich flavor. Have a wonderful evening experience. Most restaurants tend to gather customers in one corner to improve their efficiency, but this place is a good restaurant that doesn't do such things. Although the semi-private rooms can accommodate about three groups, they assigned one group per room, so we could enjoy our meal and drinks very comfortably. Thank you. I revisited after 32 years in February 2013. It's introduced on a certain coupon site (free paper), so you can enjoy it even more affordably by using it. It's truly delightful that you can have all-you-can-eat lamb and pork shabu-shabu with all-you-can-drink for less than 4000 yen. Furthermore, the lamb and pork are sweet, tender, and delicious, passing through your throat like a cloud. First, lamb, pork, vegetable platter, and rice balls are prepared for two people each. The sauce and three types of condiments (chopped green onions, grated maple radish, grated onion) are also provided. This time, I was surprised by the amount of vegetables compared to last time. There were about two bags worth of bean sprouts, along with Chinese cabbage, watercress, burdock, spinach, onions, and tofu. This is more than enough. The meat is really thin, so just dipping it in hot water is enough. If you shabu-shabu it, it will become tough. The sauce was sweet and mellow soy sauce flavor this time, although I remember it being ponzu sauce last time. There are salt, pepper, and ichimi togarashi on the table, so it's fun to create various flavors with condiments. They also offered water without us asking and changed the utensils for removing scum. Additional orders were served promptly, and we had a very comfortable meal. I was very impressed by the cheerful and polite service. The ramen included in the all-you-can-eat menu is about one and a half servings, which is very considerate. Moreover, they use fresh noodles that are slightly undercooked, then rinsed with water to firm them up. It was a very enjoyable meal.

The networking event for employees from different industries had a second party at Dinos with a bowling package. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with good service. The main dish is lamb shabu-shabu. The taste is average, but it's a solid average. The restaurant has expertise in this area. The lamb is delicious and reasonably priced. It's a satisfying restaurant with no complaints.

I was planning to visit a famous restaurant, but it wasn't open yet and it was too cold to wait, so I randomly entered this place instead. It seemed to be fully booked, but they let me in until 6:30. The atmosphere of the restaurant was like a private room, and I was seated at a table with a sunken kotatsu. It was quite cozy and nice. I chose the local pork shabu-shabu instead of lamb, which I often eat at home. The set included pork, rice balls, vegetables, and ramen for 1,750 yen. The sauce was a bit spicy... I wish they had sesame sauce. This restaurant might be suitable for families looking to casually enjoy shabu-shabu.

"Shabu-shabu" is often associated with beef, right? However, I want to introduce a special dish called "Lamb shabu" this time. Lamb meat is not as popular as beef, but this dish is worth trying. The lamb meat is tender and flavorful, without the usual gamey taste. It's a healthy and delicious option for shabu-shabu. Pair it with fresh Hokkaido vegetables and finish off with a bowl of Asahikawa-style ramen. The best part? It's all surprisingly affordable, making it a great value meal. Enjoy!

I like lamb itself, but shabu-shabu was a first experience. It had no smell and I could eat it without any resistance from the hair. In fact, it was delicious. However, having only ponzu sauce as the dipping sauce was a bit challenging. The all-you-can-eat option with rice and noodles included is quite cost-effective, and the taste at this price point is acceptable. However, I was slightly bothered by the attitude of one of the staff members who seemed like just a part-timer. Apart from that, I think it's worth a try. I recommend it to those who are trying lamb shabu-shabu for the first time.
