On Friday, the destination for Sunday became Kitami. Despite staring at the weather forecast until the end, the mountain weather did not improve. Yome-san found grape picking in Kitami in a town magazine she likes, so Sunday ended up being grape picking in Kitami. We headed to Kitami by JR. It's a 4,500-step walk from home to the station. From Kitami Station to the grape picking place, it's a total of 10,000 steps. "It'll be good exercise," indeed, because it's a mountain after all. I don't particularly like vegetables or fruits, so it wasn't a proposal that made me happy. However, we were overtaken by many cars on the final climb. Turns out, everyone was going grape picking. It was a popular grape picking spot. The explanation at the beginning wasn't very good, but it's 600 yen all-you-can-eat. But I doubt if I can eat 600 yen worth. A daikon radish was given as a service. Three bunches of komatsuna were also given as a service. We walked, so we didn't need the daikon. I got a ballpoint pen. There were also toys and onions. The spirit of service is strong. You can also take them home for 300 yen per kilogram. Yome-san took some home for 270 yen, which she found surprisingly cheap. The grapes were sweet and delicious. I ate more than I expected and got full. Yome-san gave some as a souvenir to Grandma, but she said, "It's not delicious." She's as stubborn as ever. Oh well, just leave her be! Later, my sister came on a different day and tried them, saying, "It's kind of meh." It's strange how they were delicious when eaten on the spot, but not so much when brought home.
