Just by saying that they only operate about half of the week, you can feel the rarity of the shop that I had been thinking of visiting someday! When I went there, I found that it was located next to a normal house, with a banner hanging outside. Inside, it had a cozy atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and engaged in small talk with customers. Their kindness made me feel warm and fuzzy! The bread I bought was also filled with their kindness. Each bread item was reasonably priced, and it was clear that they were not in it for the profit, but because they love making bread and want everyone to enjoy it! I decided that I would definitely visit again!

Bakery tour... Today I visited Kokocho in Nishikioka area, Miyamaecho. I arrived around 11 o'clock for my first visit. There were no other customers. First, I found a croissant! The owner said, "The chicken cutlet is ready!" I'll take that too. The croissant was crispy and delicious. Croissant 145 yen, Chicken cutlet 195 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

When I entered the store, there was a shelf displaying various types of bread. There were many different kinds, including some smaller-sized ones which seemed to be at a lower price point, allowing you to try a variety of options. I asked the staff for recommendations and ended up purchasing the salted butter raisin croissant, curry bread, and rusk. There were tables inside the store where you could sit and eat as well. I tried the butter raisin croissant in the car and it was delicious, so I went back to buy more. The croissant was crispy and tasty, while the salted bread was soft and chewy. The customer service was great, and I had a nice conversation with the staff. It was a delightful experience discovering this lovely bakery!

When you go a little way from Kinoka Station towards Tarumae Mountain, you will see a stylish bakery in a residential area. They have a wooden deck terrace as well. They are only open on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Their limited opening hours make it difficult to buy their bread anytime. I finally managed to buy some after passing by several times.
- Chikuwa Cheese Roll: The combination of curry-flavored bread dough with chikuwa and cheese is perfect!
- Croissant: The croissant, which is also the name of the bakery, has a crispy outer layer and a moist inside with a great buttery flavor.
- Phantom Croissant: This is a made-to-order item. You can choose from "cream and banana," "cream and apple," or "apple and cinnamon." I tried the "cream and banana" one and it was exquisite!
- Italian Meat Sauce: Handmade Italian meat sauce with cherry tomatoes, cheese, and eggplant.
- Ham and Corn: A B-grade bread with ham, corn, and a touch of mayonnaise!
- Butter Raisin: A small and cute bread with handmade butter cream and raisins.
- Waffle: Today, they were 20 yen off, so I bought two. They have a subtle sweetness without needing any toppings.
There are still many more types of bread I want to try. The prices are very reasonable, and it's great to find handmade bread at such affordable prices.

The location is facing a one-lane city road, with parking for about 4 cars on the premises. Access by car is fairly good. The following are the actual food reviews: 1. Rye bread stick (¥175) - 25cm x 5cm x 3cm stick-shaped, with a hard texture. The orange peel and berries add a nice flavor. Recommended. 2. Sesame and red bean bread (¥145) - 13cm x 7cm x 4cm. The fragrant sesame and subtle sweetness of the red beans are a perfect match. 3. Raisin and walnut bread (¥155) - 16cm x 8cm donut-shaped quarter. Soft texture with minimal filling. Gentle flavor. A casual and reasonably priced homemade bakery suitable for regular visits.
