Welcome! ┌¬o”* * * 2014.12 ↓Located in the Inaho district arcade in Otaru City, there is a new store that hasn't been visited in about 6 years at the Otaru Yataimura Brick Alley. A small store with a dining-style counter in a warm atmosphere, with a lot of canned bar-like interior on the walls. It is a small shop, almost like an antenna shop directly operated by the Hokkai Seikan canning factory. You can eat canned food that flows from here to the supermarket at almost the same price. Looking at the menu, from drinks to cans! If you're into cans, this might be the place for a Kirin Ichiban Frozen! To start off, the menu features a canned saury kabayaki, and the canned food on the menu seems to be unique to Otaru. I was hesitant about the highly recommended assortment, but how many times did I nod in agreement... I thought I might have strained my neck the next morning thinking about it. The crab can for 16,000 yen was opened only once!! Although they were making a lot of noise in the back, I wondered if they were preparing the recommended assortment. As I listened to the BGM, James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" played endlessly, and it fit the atmosphere so well that I didn't even notice it. Even the staff didn't know that. When the assortment plate arrived, I couldn't help but exclaim, "What kind of magic is this from canned food?" When I saw the breakdown, it said "Corn butter sauté, kinkaku simmered, canned saury, canned saury with butterbur, white asparagus, boiled azuki beans that transformed into corned beef, which is a high-end product from the "Canned Tsuma" series. The corned beef is like Yukhoe... smoother and creamier than the taste of that corned beef, perfect for crackers. The kinkaku also adds a nice flavor to it. They showed me the canned food, and I think the company in Hokkaido that made it was called "Yotaka." The canned saury with butterbur, as well as licking the kinkaku, can cause burns. It might be the best sake accompaniment. I wanted some rice, but it's not canned... They made a crab salad with today's canned crab, saying "When you make it into a salad, it doesn't smell like canned food and you're already used to the taste." If you think you're used to the taste of crab, the crab shell is still delicious. The corn butter sauté didn't make any noise, so it seems like a simple job of putting butter on corn and heating it. Still, it's very much appreciated. You can also enjoy a salad that you can eat heartily, from appetizers to salad mains, thanks to the skills and knowledge of the staff, creating the ultimate canned paradise. With a grape in hand, I was already quite drunk, but let's keep that between us. Canned food is the best~~~!! Thank you for the meal.
