I had the roasted char siu soy sauce ramen! The soup and noodles were not particularly special, but still delicious! The char siu was large, tender, and nicely roasted, which was very tasty! Since I felt the char siu was the main highlight rather than the noodles, I would rate it 3.5 stars! The free option for extra noodles and small rice was a nice bonus, haha. Thank you for the meal!

Soy sauce dipping noodles with extra green onions. The dipping noodles were loaded with toppings. The dipping sauce had plenty of char siu and a hint of yuzu fragrance, making it even more appetizing. The bamboo shoots were thinly sliced, and it came with seaweed and a homemade seasoned egg, with lots of toppings. The noodles had a firm texture and went well with the soup. It was very easy to eat. Thank you for the meal.

During my business trip, I asked the locals for recommendations and ordered the grilled pork belly miso ramen. The soup was delicious, but the grilled pork belly was amazing and very tasty. I usually can't eat much and my weak stomach is sensitive to fatty foods, so I was worried. However, I ended up eating even a small bowl of rice with ease. I definitely want to go back again.

[SAPPORO NOODLE Zero] Today, I visited this restaurant located in Tanukikoji 1-chome, @sapporo_zero. [Address] Tanukikoji 1-chome, Minami 2-jo Nishi 1-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido [Business Hours] - Everyday: 11:00-21:00 (Last Order 20:45) *The business hours listed on Tabelog have changed. - Closed on: No regular holidays [Recommended Dish] - Soy Sauce Ramen for 920 yen Today, I ordered the soy sauce ramen, although the recommended dish was the miso ramen with seared chashu. [Features] - Double soup made with seafood and pork bones, with a stronger seafood flavor - Firm and curly yellow noodles - Huge, tender seared pork slices - A bowl made with plenty of local Hokkaido ingredients by the operator of BariKya [Impressions] The soup was described as a double soup, but the seafood aroma was quite strong, with a surprisingly light taste despite the oil film. It had a sharp saltiness from the soy sauce, a subtle acidity, and a fragrance of fish stock mixed together, making it easy to eat. The extra-large seared pork was tender and delicious, and the firm yellow noodles were characteristic of Sapporo ramen. Overall, it was a balanced and enjoyable flavor. Thank you for the meal! #SapporoSoySauceRamen #TanukikojiGourmet #Noodlestagram #FoodPorn #SapporoLunch #SapporoDinner #SusukinoGourmet #HokkaidoGourmet #SapporoGourmet

At the Umamimono Expo at Nagoya Mitsukoshi Hoshigaoka store, there was a gathering of ramen shops for dining in. After returning from Hakata, I tried Hokkaido miso ramen. The miso flavor, along with bean sprouts and ground meat, gave a nostalgic taste to the ramen, which was delicious.

After enjoying spare ribs at a bistro open for business, take a leisurely stroll down Tanukikoji Street and finish off with a bowl of ramen at "SAPPORO NOODLE Rei." I ordered the default miso ramen for 950 yen from the ticket machine and added extra chashu for the remaining 50 yen after inserting 1000 yen. The energetic greeting of "Welcome!" led me to a seat at the counter facing the wall. The thick and sweet white miso soup paired well with rice, and the noodles were yellow, medium-thick, and had a good chewy texture. The chashu was large and tender, making me wish I had ordered extra after having spare ribs. When it comes to miso ramen in Sapporo, "Junren Yasumire's Muranaka-style" is a top contender, but the line is always long. If you want to efficiently sightsee and enjoy a straightforward, hot bowl of ramen, this place on Tanukikoji Street is a good choice. Thank you for the meal!

Flavor: Excellent Cost performance: Good A shop that caught my eye every time I passed by. Their specialty is the long and thick chashu, with a choice of soy sauce or miso broth. Thanks to the chashu, there is a lot of oil content, but it doesn't feel too heavy as the oil forms a layer around the soup rather than being greasy. It nicely coats the curly noodles. The taste is excellent, but I'm not sure about the cost performance as I don't go out for ramen often.

I don't like miso, so I ordered soy sauce ramen for a simple taste. When I asked if they could make the noodles less, they said they could only do half noodles. The soup had a subtle fish flavor, lacking punch and depth. I added grated garlic, chili powder, and chili oil from the table to make it taste completely different. I couldn't tell if there was any amount of lard in the soup. The bamboo shoots were in small pieces. The only highlight was the chashu, which was cut like thick bacon but was soft and delicious. I had high expectations based on the ratings and reviews on Tabelog, but maybe those were only for the miso ramen? Or were they exaggerated because it was a tourist area? Perhaps it was a mistake to go to a shop that specializes in miso in the first place. There are definitely individual shops in the suburbs that focus on miso but also put effort and research into making delicious salt, soy sauce, or clear broth ramen. It was surprising that such shops had lower ratings. The cheerful greeting from the man in the kitchen was a relief. I was able to respond with a "thank you for the meal" to him, showing maturity. That was good.

I visited "Noodle Zero" about 4 years ago. I was intrigued by the shop when I passed by, and it was a place I wanted to try even before I started using Tabelog. Finally, I made it! The shop was featured in a TV show with a popular comedian, and the commemorative poster was still displayed when I visited, which was exciting. Although it wasn't completely full, about 80% of the seats were taken, giving the impression that it was quite popular. Initially, I planned to order the soy sauce ramen, but they had a limited edition "Charred Lard Soy Sauce Ramen (¥850)" available, so I decided to try that! I opted for half noodles to suit my appetite. The ramen was ready in about 5 minutes, releasing a blend of bonito aroma and charred lard in the soup. Just a sip of the rich soup revealed the intense seafood flavor and the savory charred aroma. The generous amount of lard left an oily film in the mouth, leading to a strong dryness in the throat afterward, but for those who love rich flavors, this limited edition ramen is truly captivating! The saltiness may be a bit overwhelming, but as a fan of seafood, I found it addictive! Next, let me talk about the ramen itself. Unlike the large rectangular chashu pork slices that come with the regular menu, this one had cubed chashu that was incredibly tender! Just a light bite caused it to crumble, releasing the sweetness of the fatty meat, along with a delightful charred flavor. The surface was not just fatty, but also crispy, offering two different tastes to enjoy! While I am curious about the large chashu slices, I personally found this bite-sized chashu to be a hit! As a branch of the popular Hakata ramen shop "Barikya," the egg noodles here were surprisingly firm, with less of the typical chewiness associated with Hakata-style noodles. However, when viewed as having a satisfying chewiness, it can be appreciated as a different aspect of enjoyment, especially when combined with the soup. The crunchy green onions were delicious, serving as a refreshing side dish. Am I the only one who found the naruto fish cake cute and heartwarming? The firm and sweet marinated bamboo shoots were generously used, which I appreciated! Although I had only eaten half of my rice, having already finished a spicy curry before, I still managed to finish the ramen soup completely, even though I wasn't hungry. Some reviews may describe the taste as average, but I left feeling more than satisfied! I read some comments about the staff's attitude, but I personally found them to be kind and helpful. They exchanged my large bills without showing any signs of annoyance and even gave me a shop card. When I have the chance to visit again, I will go for the regular Oni Spicy Miso or the Oni Spicy Miso Extreme! Thank you for the meal.

I had the All-in-One Soy Sauce Ramen for 1200 yen! The char siu was very flavorful and delicious! The egg was perfectly runny and gooey, just the way I like it. The nori and menma were good too, but what stood out was the yuzu peel in the soup. The yuzu aroma that spread in my mouth when I bit into it was amazing! The noodles were chewy with a good bounce and smoothness. However, there were some parts where the noodles were clumped together, which was a bit disappointing. I added garlic and pepper halfway through, which made the soup even more delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I had miso ramen. The noodles were chewy and the soup was miso-based. The chashu was also delicious with a mild flavor. It was close to closing time, but the restaurant was still about 80% full, showing that it's a popular spot.

Visited around 1:00 pm on a holiday. Was able to enter without waiting in line. Feeling hungry, I ordered miso ramen with a side of small rice. The chashu was very tender and went well with the rice. The ramen had a slightly light flavor and was just average. Overall, my impression was just average. Considering the name of the restaurant, I was hoping for something a bit more unique or with a little more punch, but it felt a bit disappointing, like a store named "Serious Mr. Sparkle."

I ordered the popular Number One seared chashu miso ramen for 1130 yen. It seems quite expensive for Sapporo. The taste was delicious but not very memorable. I didn't feel inclined to visit again. The free extra serving and rice during weekday lunch was a nice touch.

I visited "SAPPORO NOODLE Zero" on October 19th for the first time. It was a bit late for lunch, around 5 pm. The entrance had a unique half curtain with four panels, with the right side split in half again. It had the small letters "Kanejin Foods" on it. The white letters on the curtain added a nice touch. The name "Zero" is quite interesting, as it is not a commonly used name due to its negative connotations. Inside, there was a ticket machine on the right side. The prices had gone up slightly since September, with ramen being 50 yen more expensive and tsukemen 30 yen more expensive. The menu focused on miso and soy sauce ramen, with the "All Toppings Miso" being the recommended dish. I decided to try the basic miso ramen for 900 yen. The bowl had a blue and white design with a half-boiled egg on top. The toppings included sliced green onions, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, minced pork, and a generous portion of pork char siu. The miso soup was rich and flavorful, yet surprisingly light. The medium-thick curly noodles were cooked al dente, which I personally enjoyed. Overall, I was satisfied with the meal.

I wanted to eat ramen, so I went to Tanukikoji. There are several ramen shops on Tanukikoji, but I revisited Zero. Even though it was night, I decided to have the rich and creamy ramen. I accidentally pressed the button for garlic in the tsukemen... I did it again without thinking about tomorrow... But first, I'll have a beer. It's a large bottle of beer. And it's a bit bigger! The large bottle of beer was 600 yen. If I had ordered it at another restaurant, it would have been a medium bottle for about 600 yen, so it felt like a good deal. First, I'll cheers with the beer before the ramen arrives. The ramen is here! It's loaded with garlic and back fat. The smell is so good~ The noodles in the tsukemen are thick. It's so satisfying. I slurp up the thick noodles along with the garlic and back fat. After one bite, my mouth is full of garlic. The regular size of the tsukemen is more like 1.5 servings for one person, not just a regular portion. So even if you order a regular size, you'll be full. I heard that if you order a large size, they'll give you extra dipping sauce. Zero's ramen pairs perfectly with beer. Thank you for the meal.

[Sapporo Ramen] This restaurant follows the traditional style of Sapporo ramen rather than a modern one, in my opinion. The taste is solid and the soup is quite delicious. If it were a bit cheaper, I might become a regular customer. Despite its appearance of being hearty, the ramen itself was surprisingly on the smaller side.

This restaurant is located on Tanukikoji 1-chome, with a ramen shop on the first floor and a Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen shop on the second floor. The shop seems to specialize in Sapporo-style miso ramen. It operates with a ticket vending machine, which is probably more reliable especially when there are many foreign customers. I tried the miso ramen, which had a Sapporo-like flavor. It had plenty of fresh and boldly cut green onions, as well as a generous amount of garlic. It also included minced meat. The noodles were egg noodles. While it may not have any standout features, it's a casual and welcoming place to visit.

The tsukemen costs 870 yen (tax included), and on weekdays from 11:00 to 16:00, you can get a free upgrade to a large portion and free rice. The tsukemen is slightly sweet and tangy. It doesn't have any standout features, but it has a flavor that most people would enjoy. It would be nice if they offered more nori seaweed as it goes well with the dish. My craving for tsukemen was satisfied. The only downside is that due to ventilation causing a pressure difference, the entrance door is hard to open, which is quite funny.

Due to the difference in air pressure inside and outside, the ears ring in the store. The sliding door is very heavy, and when it opens, the sound of the wind is loud, making the ears feel strange. It can be difficult to eat ramen in this environment, causing distraction and stress. Has anyone else mentioned this? Also, there was a sign saying "Free extra-large portion of ramen," but when I visited on a Sunday, it seems the service is only available on weekdays. Could you please remove the sign for the weekend? Upon closer inspection, it does say "Weekday only." I probably assumed it was "Lunchtime only" without reading it properly...

I visited around 19:45 during the Bon holidays. The seats were about half full. I tried the tsukemen and the clear soup was the best I've ever had. The noodles were thick, which is not usually my preference, but the texture was great and delicious. I really liked it.
