Ordered salt onigiri and Genghis Khan at Escan Field. Went to watch a baseball game. There are many food stalls inside the stadium, but they were all crowded, so I went to this relatively empty shop. The combination of rice balls and Genghis Khan is great! However, the packaging of the Genghis Khan seemed to be inappropriate as the soup spilled out and made everything wet by the time I got back to my seat. The salt onigiri lacked the rice flavor and saltiness you would expect from a rice ball shop, and convenience store rice balls are much tastier. Overall, the food did not meet my expectations. On the other hand, the stadium itself is wonderful, and watching baseball was a good experience and memory. It's better to line up at popular stalls with plenty of time to spare.

The rice ball vendor looked interesting, so I decided to visit! When I asked for recommendations, I was told to try the beef tendon and fried tofu rice balls, so I bought those two. The seaweed is wrapped around the outside. The taste is okay. Thank you for the meal!

The place is a shop located around the third base side on the first floor, sandwiched between beef tongue and Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. It's a shop known for its quick turnover onigiri, with Kawamura's onigiri being particularly flavorful, with a strong sense of the ingredients, especially the delicious seaweed. I heard they sourced it from Kyushu. It melts in your mouth. Even though the Fighters lost that day, it was worth it to eat this.

Today is the first day of my three-day weekend! During the day, I will celebrate my second daughter's birthday. At night, my wife and I will go on a trip to the Escon Field. It's our 14th time going, so I'm just going to relax and enjoy it. When we arrived, I was surprised to see a lot of people at the game, despite our team, the Fighters, being on a 6-game losing streak. The next day, it was announced that there were 25,000 spectators. Additionally, there was some controversy on social media about the new manager, Shohei Otani, which he addressed. For today's game, I ordered a seat on the first base side of the infield on the first floor, where I can see the Fighters' bench well. For lunch, I had a lot of conveyor belt sushi. For dinner, we tried "Kawamura Dashi Tea," a rice ball shop inside Escon Field. We found a dish called "Salt Rice Ball and Genghis Khan" for 880 yen, which came in a plastic container with Genghis Khan meat and a rice ball container with salt rice ball. It also came with high-quality seaweed and instructions on how to make the rice ball. The staff reminded us not to tilt the container, but when I opened it, the Genghis Khan broth spilled everywhere. The Genghis Khan meat was tender and juicy, and the cabbage and bean sprouts were crunchy. The salt rice ball was delicious with the high-quality seaweed. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any beer on the menu, but my wife found a set that included Genghis Khan and beer. Overall, it was a great meal, and I highly recommend it. After the game, the Fighters won against the Orix Buffaloes 5-2. Kenji Uehara pitched well, and it seems like we have a 90% winning rate when we go on Escon Field trips. Next time, we will be attending the game on September 28th, and I will be wearing Yuma Nagawa's uniform to support the team.

Then, I thought of getting some food and went to this shop near my seat. Fortunately, there was no line yet. This was a chance. I quickly placed my order at the counter. I ordered onigiri with fried tofu and salmon belly, and added a draft beer, totaling 1720 yen. Hmm, a bit pricey maybe? I only have a photo of the onigiri itself, but this shop's style is to wrap the crispy seaweed around the onigiri yourself. Honestly, I was too busy taking photos of the onigiri at my seat, so I didn't take a complete photo, so please understand. Now, let's try the taste. First, the fried tofu. It's basically sweet and savory fried tofu on top. I wondered if it would go well, so I wrapped it in seaweed and tried it. The taste was not bad. The sweet and savory flavor of the fried tofu, combined with the rice, was quite nice. Next was the salmon belly. It looked like it had some fat on it. I was worried it might be hard to eat, but it was delicious! The fat from the belly soaked into the rice, but it didn't drip out, making it easy to eat. There were also eel and beef tendon onigiri available, but the price was a bit high... If it were a bit cheaper, it would be more user-friendly. Thank you for the meal.

Esukon, Day Game Roof Open, the sun is shining brightly and it's too hot to sit at the seats. I was wandering around looking for shade when I found this shop. Rice balls and Genghis Khan, a pretty standard combination! I was actually thinking of eating Genghis Khan at Yuichiro, so I'm in the mood for it! But, it's too hot to eat outside in this weather, so this is lucky! It seems like they have them ready to go, so I got mine quickly. But, there's nowhere to sit, right? I reluctantly ate at my own seat under the blazing sun. The rice ball is the type where you wrap the seaweed yourself... I'm not good at this. As expected, the rice ball protruded from the seaweed at the edge... A simple salt rice ball... It's firmly packed and doesn't fall apart. The Genghis Khan is seasoned relatively lightly. It might be a bit lacking as a rice companion. The meat portion is on the smaller side, but considering the price, it's reasonable! However, the thick meat provided a satisfying chew!

Opening game. I got hungry in the middle of the game. Even though it was in the middle, every shop had long lines. Hmm, if I line up, I won't be able to watch the game, what should I do. At that moment, I heard, "We have some items available now, no need to wait in line!" I'm going. Oh, it's the place I was curious about. I'll buy it. Cheer set and salted mackerel for 1,190 yen. Hmm, it's quite a good price. If you wish, you can add a stadium-shaped paper tray for 15 yen. I'll go back to my seat. The dashi tea is piping hot. A nice aroma wafts through the air. The onigiri is designed so that you can see the filling. The seaweed is crispy and they seem to be using good quality seaweed. The fried tofu in the kitsune is sweet. It lightly permeates the seaweed. Even when it's cold, the rice is delicious. I want to make ochazuke with the dashi tea. The salted mackerel has the right amount of salt. It's like a side dish for hot rice. It goes well with shiso. As a stadium meal, it's quite elegant and delicious. If they had provided a hot towel, it would have been even better.
