It's a cold, rainy day from the morning, so I decided to finish work early and go out to eat something delicious. I searched on Tabelog and found a curry restaurant that only operates three days a month. They only serve 7 portions of curry each day. I quickly sent a reservation message on Instagram and received a simple, automated reply confirming the reservation. The restaurant, named "3 o'clock Curry," is located on the 4th floor of a building, just a 3-minute walk from Subway Kitano-24 Station. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy and dimly lit, with a bar counter, small tables, and shelves filled with bottles of alcohol. The friendly female owner greeted me and explained that the only curry available that day was Butter Chicken. I decided to try it, and it was served with rice, pickles, and a sample of Black Chickpea Curry. The Butter Chicken had a delicious aroma of spices and a comforting buttery flavor. The chicken wings were tender and flavorful, although a bit challenging to eat with a spoon. The side dishes included diced sweet potatoes, carrot and purple cabbage pickle, and sesame-dressed onions and spinach. The rice was cooked firm and was a bit small in portion, but I was offered more if needed. The curry was definitely worth trying, despite the limited availability. The restaurant only operates 3 days a month, serving 7 portions each day, so it's a bit challenging to secure a spot. If you're interested, check their Instagram for reservations. The last business day of this month is on May 26th. Overall, it was a unique and enjoyable curry experience.

On my day off, I remembered about this place that is only open 4-5 days a month, starting at 3 pm, and can only serve 7 people a day. It was a bit challenging to visit, but I didn't want to miss the opportunity. The curry they served that day was chicken curry, which had a spicy taste with a good balance of acidity and sweetness. The chicken was tender and delicious, and it came with homemade pickles and mixed vegetables with mayonnaise. It was a good deal for 1000 yen. The owner even offered palm reading, which was surprisingly accurate. Despite the limited opening days, the delicious curry, friendly owner, and unique palm reading experience make me want to visit again.

We were discussing about going when the timing seems right, but just before 3 pm, I checked Instagram and found out that they only serve 7 portions a day... What a hurdle! (We were planning to go around 4 pm) We hurried to get there, but luckily it was okay that day. - Garlic Chicken Curry from Gyoshu (comes with pickles and salad) I didn't take a photo, but it also comes with black tea (or coffee). The service is super fast. And the curry was so hot that I almost burned myself haha. It's a stew-like curry, rich and flavorful! More fruity and easy to eat rather than heavy. I love garlic so much! The chicken was chunky and had a nice texture. The egg salad at this time of year was delightful. The mixed vegetables were sweet. The pickles were quite sour. You can adjust the spiciness with chili seasoning. The chairs were so comfy and relaxing, but I heard that the owner can read palms, so as a fan of fortune-telling, I couldn't help but be curious. I was fidgeting until I finally got my palm read (looking suspicious). I felt like there were various connections that led me to this place, so I want to cherish this connection (what am I talking about). This is difficult... The curry was delicious, but I'm giving such a high rating mostly because of the owner. If our schedules align again, I would love to visit again to see the owner (completely unrelated). Thank you, Wu-ta!

It was a visit to a curry restaurant on its opening day. The restaurant is only open on Mondays from 3pm, serving curry, drinks, and dessert for a limited number of 8 meals. The curry selection is limited to one type, with only medium spiciness available, but they plan to offer spicy spices in the future. The meal includes salad, coffee or tea, priced at 1,000 to 1,200 yen. The daily cake costs 400 yen, and drink refills are 200 yen. The curry of the day was a tomato-based spice curry with coarsely ground Vienna sausages and potatoes, with a thin consistency. The use of whole tomatoes was mentioned, but the tomato flavor was not overpowering, and the spices were well-balanced, making it a delicious curry. Surprisingly, the potatoes were not easily noticeable, as they were fried before being used. Despite not being a fan of potatoes, I enjoyed the unique texture they added to the dish. The restaurant also operates as a bar at night, serving different curries like butter chicken curry. I look forward to trying their evening menu as well.
