It's been 6 years since I last visited. I was planning to go to Aonoza last year, but it got canceled due to the state of emergency, so I came here again this year with my new 0-year-old dog. In addition to the human fee, there is an additional pet fee of 5,500 yen. It's much cheaper compared to a pet hotel. The room has a private open-air bath, and we can go directly to the room without passing through the lobby because of the dog. The room is spacious, and the one who is most pleased is the dog. A luxurious dog! The room may show some signs of wear and tear, but it's still nice. The spaciousness is amazing. I wandered around the hotel since it's been 6 years. I also booked a massage and planned to have a luxurious and relaxing day (even though I brought my work laptop, I won't open it for sure). After a nap, we head to dinner. Dinner is a kaiseki course served in a private room. I toasted with Mimosa, which I recently got into (when I mentioned this to my husband, he said there was a time in the past when I was into it. Trends do come back after 10 years...). The first course was Nanjing tofu with caviar, octopus, and red beans. It was refreshing, cold, and elegant, with a strong octopus flavor. Delicious! The appetizer...wait, it's not 16 kinds this time! I was expecting to eat 16 kinds like last time, but it was still delicious and easy to eat. The Kinshichijyo soup with scallops was served with grated potatoes. The big scallops were delicious and elegant, especially the fresh green onions. The sashimi included tuna, botan shrimp, and Japanese dace, with flounder marinated in kelp. The grilled dish was a tender Japanese beef wrapped in magnolia leaves with a miso flavor that was not too strong and very delicious. The hot dish was a steamed egg custard with snow crab using yuba. It had a warm and gentle taste, which was delicious. The strong dish was a golden needle soup with kinki fish. The fat of the kinki fish was delicious, and the thick soup with plenty of vegetables warmed the body. The meal was a salmon and salmon roe mixed rice. It was incredibly delicious, with each grain of rice standing out and shiny. The taste of the rice and ingredients was very delicious. Even though I was already full, I thought they wouldn't give me a doggy bag, so I pushed myself to have another bowl! The dessert was a lemon and white chocolate mousse. The lemon sauce was quite intense, and the mousse was sweet. It was a bit too sweet for me. Overall, it was delicious! I was very satisfied. For breakfast, there was a buffet with so many delicious options that I couldn't finish everything I wanted to eat. I managed to eat two trays of food, but I still wanted more. Full stomach! Since I last visited, I have been taken to various places, but this place is still the best! It seems like some rooms have been renovated to hide the wear and tear of the building and rooms. I also had a massage, which refreshed my body and mind. Thank you very much! I will visit again!
