After having lunch on this day, I stopped by a supermarket for some shopping and found a bread corner. The prices were relatively reasonable, so I decided to check it out. I ended up putting some anpan in my basket. When I got home and tried the anpan, it was decently sized but felt light when I cut it in half - probably because it had a large hollow space inside. The dough was thin, so I wondered if the amount of red bean paste would be enough for the taste. After trying it, I found the flavor to be neither good nor bad. It wasn't bad, but it was also not outstanding. It seemed like something was lacking in terms of sweetness when I drank coffee afterwards.

I stopped by MaxValu Shinhatsukita store's bakery on my way to buy lunch. I purchased the classic Milk Sugar Bread, and in addition, I also bought a French Danish (Sugar). I believed it would be delicious just by looking at it, and when I tasted it, it was even better than I expected. It was a light Danish with a strong butter flavor. Despite being called "Sugar," the sweetness was quite restrained. The Milk Sugar Bread was as delicious as always!

I came to the bakery at MaxValu Shin-Hatsukita store to buy bread for tomorrow's breakfast. I've always thought that the cost performance here is too high, making other places seem expensive. Today, I bought a pork sausage bun, French bread (curry flavor), jumbo twist (sugar), milk sugar bun, and gooey cheese fondue. I've been wanting to try the milk sugar bun here for a while, so I'm really looking forward to it! The jumbo twist has a slightly crispy texture on the outside, which I really like.

Due to a virus-related computer failure, the migration process to a new desktop computer has been completed. This is my first time using Windows 10 and due to health reasons, the migration took longer than expected. I have now resumed liking and commenting. Thank you for your understanding. [April 2019]
"MaxValu Shin-hassamu Store" is a fairly large supermarket. It is a relatively new supermarket that opened in October 2017. I happened to stop by "MaxValu Shin-hassamu Store" when I was in the area. There was a corner with affordable bread called "Bakery". I decided to stop by with my usual companion. This store is located in the commercial facility at the corner of Shimoine-dori and Oiwake-dori in the Shin-hassamu area of Teine-ku, Sapporo. For the exact location, please check on Tabelog. When I arrived at the store, there were dozens of types of bread. By chance, all items were priced at 97 yen including tax. I bought several of the good value bread. My usual companion chose their favorite items.
- Pork Sausage Bread: The 2nd most popular bread at the store with pork sausage, ketchup, and mayonnaise.
- Melty Cheese Fondue: A round French bread filled with fondue-flavored cream cheese.
- Juicy Hotel Bread: The most popular bread at the store with condensed milk-flavored oil, juicy and sweet.
- Minced Cutlet Curry Bread: A curry bread with minced cutlet curry flavor.
All the "bread" were priced at 97 yen each. Despite the price, the quality of the bread was surprisingly good. They all had a homely taste. Perfect for someone like me, a commoner. I wonder which bread I should try next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This is one of the newly opened complex commercial facilities, a MaxValu store that opened at the end of October last year. They offer a variety of items such as sweet bread, cream puffs, deli bread, and pizza. The prices are mostly around 100 yen, so you don't have to worry about your wallet. There is an eat-in space right next to it, with a coffee vending machine and a microwave, so you can warm up the pizza you bought and eat it on the spot. There are outlets at the counter, so it's convenient for those working or studying to charge their PCs while having lunch. The bulgogi pizza and teriyaki chicken bread both have delicious meat seasoning. The pizza dough is... bread. It gives the impression of a sweet bread filled with air. The chicken bread feels like someone's mom put leftover meat on store-bought bread for dinner ^^; Comparing it to the 100 yen bread at the co-op, you can't help but feel the difference in dough and taste. The eat-in space is spacious, so you can relax. However, the store is very cold, so you need to be prepared for the cold in the summer. I haven't tried more than two items, but they have a wide variety of cream puffs and sweet bread, so I would appreciate it if someone could review the sweet items.

In Shinkawa, Teine Ward, a MaxValu store has opened! Although it has been a while since its opening, no one has reviewed it yet, so I will register a bakery called "Pan Factory" that is found in various Aeon stores! Most of the bread is priced at 100 yen, making it quite popular, but I didn't have high expectations for the taste. I bought two items for a snack at 3 o'clock on New Year's Day (laughs) - the Zangi Pan and the Cheese Bread with Wings. The Zangi Pan is just a Zangi sandwiched between three slices of bread. It doesn't have any seasoning... (laughs) When I tried it, the bread was hard, so this is not good! It's better to just eat the Zangi by itself. However, since it is bread, I generously added mayonnaise on it σ(^_^;) I feel like it needs some seasoning like cabbage, lettuce, or something! This one gets a 2.0 rating. The Cheese Bread with Wings, on the other hand, is good ^_^ It has plenty of cream cheese inside and the cheese on the outside gives it a strong flavor. This one is suitable for a snack, so I would rate it 3.5 out of 5. To satisfy the 142,000 people in Teine Ward, affordable stores are also necessary! Thank you for the meal ^_^
