I found a nearby izakaya with good cost performance and decided to try it out. The owner runs the place alone, but the sashimi platter with 5 varieties is less than 1000 yen, which is very reasonable. Feeling satisfied, I ended up ordering a variety of dishes including delicious yakitori and pork skewers. I enjoyed two beers and two highballs comfortably. I will definitely visit again.

Located about halfway between Misono Station and Shiraishi Station, both about a 10-minute walk away. The purpose of visiting this place was for a Misono drinking session. It was introduced on Do-san-ko Wide a few months ago. The seating consists of a counter and a small raised area, with just the right capacity. There is no all-you-can-drink option. First up, beer! The beer was delicious. The appetizer was a large portion of deep-fried oysters! Yes! Here it is! There's no doubt that a place with delicious appetizers is a good place! Let's move on to the beer! For food, there was a sashimi platter with 5 types of fish for 555 yen. What?! And all this for that price! In Susukino, it would definitely cost over 1000 yen. If you look closely, all the menu items are cheap! The cost performance is too good! The sweet potato tempura was fluffy. The fish was delicious. I'm sure the meat is delicious too. Unfortunately, I couldn't try it this time because it was the second place we visited. From the second drink onwards, I switched to sake. There weren't many fruity options this time, but looking at the other empty bottles, there are many types of sake that I like. This is just a matter of timing. The owner is friendly and talks a lot, making it interesting. It seems to have many female customers as fans. I would definitely stop by if it were nearby. I would like to revisit as the first place next time.

Located in a residential area in Miyanomori, there is an izakaya called "Aizen" in Sapporo's Toyohira Ward. I felt like going out for a drink on a weekend night, so I called ahead and made a reservation at "Aizen" that I had checked out before. The restaurant has counter seats and raised tatami seating, and it was almost full by around 7 p.m. with many local customers. I sat at the counter and started with a draft beer toast. The menu is typical of an izakaya, with a variety of dishes to choose from. The owner was running the place alone, so I could see how busy he was. Skewers are the specialty of the house and are listed first on the menu, followed by various other dishes like appetizers, sashimi, and grilled fish. The items I ordered were: - Draft beer (Super Dry) 400 yen - Delicious pork belly 140 yen - Chicken liver 130 yen - Grilled chicken heart 130 yen - Grilled chicken thigh 130 yen - White chicken gizzard skewer 140 yen - Cold sake (1 go) 380 yen - Skewer cutlets (chicken, pork, vegetables) 450 yen - Assorted sashimi 555 yen (octopus, herring, silver salmon, sardine, sea bream) - Grilled salmon belly 620 yen You can order skewers individually, and they are large and satisfying, unlike the small skewers you find at typical yakitori chain restaurants. The skewer cutlets are also very generous for the price. The sashimi assortment was impressive with five different types of fish, and it was a luxurious treat. This goes perfectly with sake. Finally, I tried the grilled salmon belly, and the seafood selection was excellent. Although it's not located near the station, "Aizen" is an izakaya catering to local residents, offering great skewers, delicious sashimi, and a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant is located on the first floor of Kawashima Building in Bion 3-jo 8-chome, which is a hidden gem as it is slightly off the main street. The owner, who has experience in a wide range of cuisines including Japanese, Chinese, and Italian from working in hotels in Sapporo, has a strong commitment to quality and meticulous preparation. The day's dishes included simmered fish and daikon, and salmon head soup, both prepared with great care and no fishy taste. The sashimi platter is a steal at 550 yen per person, offering fresh and delicious fish sourced directly from the fishing port. The carpaccio, sashimi, and vegetables are generously portioned at 480 yen per person, and the pork skewers are flavorful and juicy. The chicken skewers are also a must-try, made with local chicken meat and served with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. Beers are priced at 380 yen for a large glass, and other drinks are reasonably priced with a good selection. The restaurant also offers unique and fresh seafood like shark ray sashimi and saltwater sea urchin at affordable prices. The grilled chicken rice bowl is a satisfying way to end the meal. With monthly and weekly meat or oyster specials, this is a place worth revisiting for delicious and budget-friendly dining experiences. Overall, it is a highly recommended spot for casual dining, where you can enjoy quality food at a reasonable price.

Welcome.---------- 2016.02 ----------From R36, take the road towards Oyachi and it is located one block towards Shiraishi, next to a karaoke salon. "Welcome, we've been waiting for you♪" The atmosphere is calm, with a cozy counter and two raised seating areas, perfect for dining alone. The owner, who used to work at a Japanese restaurant in Marubatsu Hotel, is impressive. The menu overlaps with dishes like Kaigokoro, Kaisai, and Kaishigure, which caught my attention. The owner's expertise in Japanese cuisine is evident in the dishes served. The meal starts with a complimentary miso soup, which warms you up nicely. The deep-fried kakiage is crispy and packed with vegetables and salmon. The abalone fair offers a variety of dishes, including abalone sashimi and grilled abalone. The sashimi platter is a must-try, featuring Itoyoridai, Akagai, Ikauwimaki, Torosamon, and Mebaru. The Torosamon melts in your mouth, while the grilled abalone has a unique texture. The restaurant also offers yakitori, such as the pork skewers and chicken skewers, which are juicy and flavorful. The white rice zenzai dessert is a delightful way to end the meal. Overall, the restaurant offers a great dining experience with a variety of dishes and excellent value for money. Thank you for the delicious meal.
