I might have tried Tachipon, sea urchin, scallop with mango, broccoli shrimp mayo, and tuna at Kurazushi for the first time. It's located inside Lasora. I didn't have to wait too long, so it might be a hidden gem. There were a lot of plates for 115 yen, and while the expensive ones are of course pricey, if you stick to the cheap ones, it's actually quite affordable. Tachipon was a bit disappointing, but the mango felt like it had been thawed too much and was mushy. There are hits and misses, but in terms of price, it's on the lower side, and I think 100 yen sushi places are not that different. It's interesting that if you pay more, you have a better chance of winning a surprise toy. Thanks for the meal!

I was surprised that everything from entering the store to leaving is self-service. I wanted to try the famous "bikkurapon" but I didn't know how to do it, and I was confused about how to take the sushi that was flowing on the conveyor belt. Beginners like me had a hard time. It might be tough for elderly people or those who are not good with machines. But the taste was delicious. The fried food was crispy and freshly fried. I love squid tempura, so I was happy to see it on the menu. The marinated tuna and negitoro roll were also delicious with a mellow flavor. The vinegar in the sushi rice was a bit stronger than other places. Also, personally, I found it inconvenient to have the soy sauce and chopsticks embedded in the table. You have to move back to use them when needed. It looks clean and neat, but it's a bit troublesome. But overall, it's cheap and it's easy to control the amount of sushi you eat at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, which is great. The staff were very friendly. I would like to go again.

During my visit in August 2023, I had a meal at a revolving sushi restaurant in Hokkaido. I enjoyed dishes like salted and aged Pacific saury, hand-rolled seafood with sea urchin, aged marinated amberjack, red clam, spear squid with ginger, thickly sliced yellowtail, horse mackerel, iron fire roll, kampyo roll, and marinated tuna battleship. The total bill came to 1,545 yen, but with a PayPay coupon, I received a 10% discount. The restaurant was crowded, so I arrived at 11:30 to secure a seat. The ordering process was done through a touch panel, and the sushi was delivered on a conveyor belt. The sushi quality was great, and the cost performance was impressive. Despite it being a weekday, the restaurant was full of customers enjoying the delicious sushi.

My wife heard from a friend at the gym that they had eaten tempura at Kura Sushi and wanted to try it, so we went. This restaurant is the first to open in Hokkaido. It is located about 300m from the East Sapporo Station on the Tozai Line, turning left at exit 1 and walking. Inside LaLaport Sapporo A Town, take the escalator on the left and walk ahead. Cross the connecting passage and you will find the restaurant on the right in B Town. We visited around 11 am on a weekday. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, but by the time we left, it was full. We ordered the "Shrimp and Seasonal Tempura Bowl" (580 yen, tax included) using the machine. It took about 7 minutes for our order to arrive on the conveyor belt. The tempura sauce was warm. The white fish, though I couldn't identify the types, was tender. There were 3 shrimp. The rice portion felt a bit small. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the quality at this price. Thank you for the meal.

After shopping at LaLaport, I decided to have lunch there even though it was a bit early. There was no line, so I was seated right away. The table had a lid in the middle containing soy sauce, maybe for hygiene purposes. I ordered using a touch panel. I tried the tuna first, which had a pickled-like flavor even though it wasn't pickled. The rice was small, which was good. The rice had a strong flavor. All the dishes I ordered were quickly served. I usually go to Sushiro for affordable conveyor belt sushi, so I found the flavors here to be stronger. But if you want a quick meal while shopping, it's a good option. There was minimal interaction with the staff, and payment was done by scanning the bill with PayPay. The air conditioning was strong, making it a bit cold, but it might be comfortable on hot summer days. It's nice to have more dining options at LaLaport.

I came to try the weekday lunch menu, but it was already sold out. I ordered the seasonal seafood bowl for 500 yen from the side menu. It took a little while to be served. It was more like a bara-chirashi than a seafood bowl. I could identify the salmon roe, flying fish roe, and octopus, but I didn't know the other toppings. They were cut small or had a pounded texture. The pickled ginger was white and sour. The toppings stuck to the bowl and made it messy. It got on my hands.

Eldest son and his wife went to Sapporo for his graduate school graduation ceremony. They parked their car at the convention center where the ceremony was held and then went to La Sora Sapporo. They arrived at Kura Sushi for an early lunch at 11:00. The ordering system was good, but the taste was just okay. They tried a variety of dishes, but the only one they found delicious was the eel. The total cost for three people was a little over ¥5,000, so they thought it was a good value. Overall, they enjoyed the meal. Thank you!

When I was shopping and started feeling a little hungry, I found this convenient Kura Sushi. The single counter seating is a bit uncomfortable, but I wonder why they don't have soda like cider. If they had cola, I could eat more. Especially when I crave for Big Kura Pong. Their chu-hai is tasty though.

I went with 4 colleagues to Kura Sushi in LaLaport Sapporo in Higashi Ward, Sapporo. We were initially seated at a table for 4, which was a bit surprising since there were 5 of us. We were able to switch to a table for 6 and started our meal with 4 men and 1 woman. Sapporo is a competitive area for conveyor belt sushi, especially with popular local spots like Triton, Nagoyakatei, and Hanamaru. Despite the tough competition, Kura Sushi stands out for being affordable and delicious. I was shocked by how cheap it was - it didn't even cost 1,000 yen per person! It was so wonderful that I plan to go back with my colleagues again.

I went there for the first time! We had some business in this area, so let's go for the first time! Embarrassingly, my family and I didn't understand the system at all haha How do you open this plate? Where do you put the plates you've eaten in? We didn't know anything, we kept looking around at the other customers' tables! So awkward! I'm sure they thought we were a strange family (;_;) Later my child taught me that there was an explanation on the touch panel at the beginning... Why didn't you say so! As for the sushi, the salmon was disappointing, but the tamago, ebi mayo, tuna mayo were delicious, and the ramen was tasty. I personally enjoyed the Iberico pork soy sauce ramen with thick noodles. My child and partner didn't like it though. They preferred udon... (;_;) Well, well, well... My child said the kake udon was delicious. I want to try the popular gunkan set next time. It's a shame that the salmon looked quite different from the menu photo. My partner, with his refined taste buds, could taste the medicine-like flavor, as expected, a discerning palate indeed. Frustrating... It's also tough that the lid is a bit hard to open. Thank you for the meal!

Kura Sushi Lasora Sapporo branch. It's past lunchtime and time for a snack. I was in a bit of a pickle, so I decided to go to Kura Sushi. I wasn't sure how to take the covered plates on the conveyor belt, but ordering through the touch panel was convenient and didn't get in the way. The sushi toppings were a bit average for Hokkaido, but it was a lifesaver for someone looking for lunch. I enjoyed it very much. I will definitely visit again.

I went to Kura after buying baby supplies. I was able to enter without waiting. I ate something and then paid before leaving. I can't really remember any standout dishes. Oh, the beer was good though. Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since I started exploring Sapporo. I've always wanted to try it out. The prices start from 110 yen, which is quite reasonable, and I was curious about the quality. It turned out to be quite delicious! The combination of this affordability and tastiness is definitely worth it. Even though I thought I ate a lot, it only cost a little over 1000 yen. I can't afford expensive sushi often, so this is a lifesaver. The fact that you don't have to interact directly with the staff at the entrance or at the register is also a big plus, especially during this pandemic.

Hokkaido has finally welcomed a Kura Sushi branch, so I decided to give it a try! There were a lot of families dining there, and the reason seems to be the "bikkura pon" game. It does feel satisfying to drop the empty plates into the slot. Kids might even want to drop their parents' plates in too. As an adult, I was more curious about what was on the other side. I wonder if there's a lady counting the plates inside each table's slot. It's probably just wishful thinking though. The most disappointing part was that the salmon didn't taste particularly good. As a big fan of salmon, this could be a deal breaker for me. The yellowtail also wasn't that great. Sadly, the Conan keychain I won in the bikkura pon game was too cute not to give to the kid at the next table.

Lunch at Kura Sushi for the seasonal seafood bowl was a great choice! Despite the crowded atmosphere, the ordering process was quick and efficient. The seafood bowl was surprisingly luxurious with a variety of fresh seafood toppings like sea urchin and salmon roe. The rice was just right and the miso soup was hot and flavorful. Overall, a satisfying and affordable meal experience.

This was my first time here, and I was able to get in smoothly on a weekday at 12:00! It's my first time at Kura Sushi, and I'm a bit confused by the system. All the plates have lids, is there a trick to removing them? It's quite difficult to remove the two-plate ring. As for the sushi, I tried the ones with lots of shrimp, seafood battleship, jelly with blowfish, but to be honest, they're not really to my liking. The shrimp had a bit of a smell... Overall, this time was a bit disappointing.

From afternoon drinking at various places, I ended up here after having three drinks at Sankatei. Along the way, I bought the popular "Raw Warabi Mochi". I entered the newly opened Kura Sushi and, as a beginner, I found the following system helpful:
- Upon entering, register at the touch panel terminal to get an idea of the waiting time.
- A monitor at the store entrance will display the number of the table that is ready.
- Once your number is called, pick up the table number card and take your seat.
- Use the touch panel on the table to place your order, or scan the QR code to order from your smartphone.
- Plates with lids are rotating on a conveyor belt, so feel free to take what you like. Ordered dishes will be quickly served from the upper lane.
- After finishing a plate, dispose of it in the hole in front of you for counting. Every five plates entered into the system allow you to participate in a Gashapon lottery.
- Choose the payment option on the touch panel and take the payment slip to the unmanned register.
- Scan the barcode to complete the payment.
I was surprised by how delicious the Pale Ale was. It had a craft beer-like amber color with a strong hop bitterness and a hint of sweetness. My friend enjoyed the Mango Sour, which had plenty of frozen mango pieces that added to the flavor. Although not cheap, the quality of the drinks justified the price. We ordered some light snacks like Broccoli Salad, Corn Tempura, and Sashimi with Warm Egg on top, which were all good value for 110 yen each. We ended the meal with Sashimi Gunkan and a special mention to the "Half Rice" option, which was perfect for snacking while drinking. Overall, Kura Sushi seems like a good place for casual dining and drinking. I would definitely visit again for a drinking session. Thank you for the meal. Thank you very much!

On a certain weekday, amidst bad road conditions, I had lunch at the first conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Sapporo, located in Higashi-Sapporo, Shiroishi-ku, at LaSora. The parking lot is at LaSora, so if you spend over 1000 yen, you get 3 hours of free parking. The restaurant is located where B-Town used to be, and it has minimal staff in a small space. I visited for the second time and was guided to a slightly cramped counter table by the ordering machine. The background music was barely audible due to the clattering of plates and the machine's announcements. I ordered from the menu using the restaurant's smartphone app, selecting items that caught my interest. The "Seafood Bowl Lunch (580 yen)" had a strong vinegar taste in the sushi rice, which made me choke a bit when eating quickly. The bowl was topped with surprising uni and ikura, while the toppings included finely chopped tuna, yellowtail, white fish, flying fish roe, and shiso leaf for a neutral flavor. The set also included a chawanmushi with plenty of scallops and imitation crab sticks, making it a decent option for the price. During a promotion, I ordered the "Extra Large Fresh Salmon (110 yen)" at half price, and it had a thick and fresh slice of salmon without any strange smell. I also tried the "Extra Large Sweet Shrimp Nigiri (220 yen)" which had a mountain of lightly boiled shrimp with tobiko on top, but the flavor did not impress me as a Hokkaido local. Lastly, I ordered the "Minami Tuna Special Akami (220 yen)" which was decent but not particularly outstanding. Despite being impressed by the incredibly low prices, I found myself having mixed feelings when considering the quality of the sushi rice and toppings. Perhaps paying a bit more for delicious sushi might be a better option. Thank you for the meal.

Kura Sushi in Hokkaido is a great place for your first sushi experience. Compared to other similar-priced sushi restaurants like Sushiro, Hamazushi, and Kaitenzushi, Kura Sushi offers higher quality sushi. Every 5 plates, you can play a fun gachapon game on a tablet, which kids will enjoy. Kura Sushi focuses on using fresh ingredients without relying on seasonings or additives, allowing you to taste the true flavors of the ingredients. They are committed to quality, and provide transparent information about their ingredients.
