I had a lot of alcohol and had a fun time with old friends♡ The sign says "yakitori" but the menu includes fried food, meat dishes, sashimi, and more. We had a great time and enjoyed various dishes. We chose the all-you-can-drink option with local sake, and there were many different kinds to enjoy♡

On this day, I ended up going for drinks with my senior colleague and heard that a place with all-you-can-drink Japanese sake was good, so we headed there. We ordered some snacks to go with the sake, toasted with beer, and then went straight for the various types of Japanese sake available. There was quite a selection of sake, making it quite enjoyable. However, I noticed that there were a lot of brewed sakes in the lineup. I searched for and enjoyed drinking Junmai and Tokubetsu Junmai sakes from among them! This system is great! If you want to drink without worrying about the budget, this is a recommended place to go!

Hakodate business trip, night banquet with clients. The restaurant looks nice from the outside, with a large private room that doesn't feel like a typical izakaya. We didn't opt for a course meal, but ordered a la carte. Here are some highlights from what we tried:
- Young Kin Kin (young golden eye snapper) Karaage: The best dish! Crispy fried small Kin Kin fish, you can eat it whole from head to tail, enjoying the umami and fragrance of the head, bones, and meat. Great with either salt or ponzu sauce.
- Sakura Masu (cherry salmon) Fry: A crispy fry with a mild and flavorful cherry salmon inside. Goes well with tartar sauce, but even better with soy sauce and sake.
- Tsubu Kimchi: A dish of chewy tsubu (whelk) mixed with kimchi, bringing out the delicious flavor of the tsubu.
- White Fish Karaage: Crispy fried white fish with a light texture and sweetness.
- Shio-Kara (salted squid guts): Unsure if it's homemade, but a classic and tasty accompaniment for sake in Hakodate.
We enjoyed a variety of fried dishes, all of which were delicious. Thank you for the meal!

During a solo trip to Hakodate, I decided to have a solo celebration at this restaurant after being turned away by several other options I had researched before my departure. Surprisingly, many places in the Goryokaku area were closed on Sunday night. When I arrived, the restaurant had just opened. The counter had a few seats, and there was a spacious raised seating area in the back. As a solo diner, I chose to sit at the counter. In the kitchen behind the counter, several chefs were busy preparing for a banquet that was about to start. Due to their focus on the upcoming event, they didn't pay much attention to me, which was a bit disappointing as I wanted to enjoy the local Hakodate sake. I ordered a beer and some lean tuna sashimi from Aomori to start. The beer was delicious, and the tuna sashimi was excellent. Next, I ordered asparagus tempura, which was also very tasty. I then realized I hadn't been eating many vegetables lately, so I ordered a salad to balance things out. By the time the group arrived for the banquet, I had already finished my meal and decided to leave. It was a shame that I couldn't have a conversation with the chefs at the counter, but the food was delicious. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

I have been to this restaurant several times for welcome parties and gatherings with a large group of people (more than 10). The second floor has private rooms separated by sliding doors, so you can enjoy without worrying about the surroundings. I had no particular complaints about the speed at which food and drinks were served. The standout feature is the variety of sake available in the all-you-can-drink course. Although I'm not knowledgeable about sake, looking at the menu, there are over a dozen brands to choose from, which would be a great point for sake lovers. The restaurant is located in a convenient area in Honmachi's drinking district.

Kaiseki izakaya in Hakodate Honcho for banquets. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations, but it was amazing. Each dish was carefully prepared with no shortcuts. They may not focus much on decorative vegetables or presentation, but the taste was solid. In addition to the menu book, there were menu items posted on the wall, and the dishes here were particularly cost-effective and delicious. The all-you-can-drink option had a great selection of sake, which made it enjoyable, and I ended up drinking too much. I am very satisfied. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

A trader from Sapporo invited me out for drinks, but it's not a business dinner - we're going Dutch! As someone living alone, I agreed and we headed out. Unfortunately, the place we wanted to go to was full, so we ended up at a cozy little spot with a few tables separated by screens. The place was lively, with the ladies in the back making quite a racket. We ordered squid sashimi, mackerel sashimi, salad, yakitori, and fried foods. The food was average, nothing special. They had a wide variety of drinks, including sake and shochu. I had a few beers, followed by a couple of different types of shochu, and before I knew it, I was pretty drunk. Overall, it was a fun night out at a nice little spot in Hakodate.
