It was a chic atmosphere at the restaurant! The entrance is small and a bit hard to find. The staff were very kind and attentive! There is a seating area on the second floor where you take off your shoes, creating a private room-like atmosphere! The food was delicious! We brought a birthday cake and they kindly served it for us. Thank you for playing music too! I loved the shrimp ajillo and of course the paella. I will definitely go again! ♡

【WINE Kitchen Tsukigari】Located in 7-chome of Tanukikoji, this Spanish cuisine restaurant is a hidden gem just next to a greengrocer on the left side across the street. The entrance is a bit hidden, but once you go up the stairs, you will be greeted by a chic and cozy atmosphere with calming lighting.
Their specialty is definitely the authentic Paella! This time, we ordered Seafood Paella (130g), Blue Cheese Meatballs, Marinated Octopus, Clams in Garlic Sauce, Herb-marinated Olives, and more. The recommended Paella is moist and flavorful, absorbing the essence of seafood perfectly. Unlike other places where Paella tends to be dry, this one is moist and packed with flavor.
The Garlic Clams we ordered were not overpowering in garlic flavor, with the ingredients' umami blending well with the olive oil. It goes great with baguette every time.
And the Blue Cheese Meatballs! They are incredibly delicious, especially for blue cheese lovers. The unique aroma of blue cheese complements the meatballs perfectly. Even if you're not a fan of the smell of blue cheese, I recommend trying it at least once.
Overall, it was really delicious as always! Personally, I also highly recommend the Herb-marinated Olives with their infused herb aroma.
It's usually quite crowded, so making a reservation in advance is recommended. Sometimes, if you go without a reservation, you may find a "full house" sign on the door. #Paella #Spanish #SpanishCuisine #MediterraneanCuisine #FoodPorn #SapporoLunch #SapporoDinner #SusukinoGourmet #HokkaidoGourmet #SapporoGourmet

I was finally able to visit this place that I had been curious about since the night before. The entrance is inconspicuous, with a small sign in front of the unassuming door. Upon entering and climbing the stairs to the second floor, I was guided to the third floor where there was a private room with a table for about six people. The atmosphere was cozy with dim lighting. Looking at the menu, there were a variety of delicious options such as tapas, salads, grilled dishes, pasta, and gratin. I was advised to order the paella first as it takes some time to prepare. The dishes I tried were:
- Assorted ham and chorizo for 1500 yen, which was delicious with Serrano ham and Iberico chorizo.
- Mixed garlic shrimp for 950 yen, which was served hot with plenty of white fish and mushrooms in olive oil.
- Octopus with aioli sauce for 600 yen, thinly sliced octopus with a flavorful aioli sauce.
- Grilled chicken skewers (with sauce), meatballs (with sauce) for 220 yen each, and blue cheese meatballs for 280 yen.
- Seafood paella (medium) for 2200 yen, with flavorful rice and a variety of seafood like shrimp, clams, mussels, and squid.
I also enjoyed beer and a bottle of white wine, and the total bill came to just over 4000 yen. It was a reasonable price for delicious Spanish cuisine. Thank you for the meal!

I have been using this restaurant frequently for several years. I visited after a long time and thought, "Were these stairs always this steep?" I worried about drinking too much and falling if I got drunk. Hamon Serrano: 950 yen, firm and flavorful ham, my favorite type. Mediterranean octopus salad: 800 yen, the octopus was chewy and the portion was just right. Escabeche of mackerel: 500 yen, I thought escabeche was supposed to be spicy, but this one had no spiciness. The vinegar flavor was not too strong, making it perfect for drinking. Skewers: 200-300 yen each, from the front in the photo, chicken skewer, cheese meatball, shrimp meatball, chicken liver. I don't understand why there are skewers at a Spanish restaurant, but the liver had no unpleasant smell and the chicken skewer was thick. The meatballs that my wife was eating were also delicious. Mixed Paella M (130g of rice, rice grade 1 is 150g): 2400 yen, I always thought paella had hard rice, but the rice in this paella was soft. It was packed with ingredients, and even though we are light eaters, we almost couldn't finish the M size. Of course, the taste was excellent. We had four glasses of wine for two people, and the bill was just over 10,000 yen. Considering the delicious paella, this price is reasonable. Thank you for the meal.

The other day, when I visited Daikoku-tei, we were discussing why Japanese paella is completely different from authentic Spanish paella. I was told by my admired chef, Yamato, about his favorite restaurant so I decided to check it out. 1. The paella I was looking forward to was full of seafood broth, with the rice being wet and very close to the authentic taste. Japanese paella just doesn't have that same texture. The rice tends to stick to the pot towards the end. Authentic paella from Spain ensures that you can enjoy soft rice until the very end. I finally found delicious paella similar to what I had in Spain. 2. Escargot! Real escargot! I love escargot! It's rare to find a restaurant in Japan serving real snails. There are more dishes like "escargot-style whelk" or "escargot butter of something". Snails are so delicious! 3. Smoked salmon grill - good smoky flavor, good seasoning. I like it even more with a stronger flavor, but this balance might be just right when considering other dishes. 4. Blue cheese meatballs, beef harami skewers - I thought it was strange to have yakitori at a Spanish restaurant, but the blue cheese meatballs were delicious! Meatballs with blue cheese! It's a perfect match with wine. The restaurant is located just inside Tanuki Koji 7-chome. You might miss it if you don't know about it, as I had trouble finding it even with Google Maps. From the conversations between the staff and customers, it seemed like everyone there, except for us, were regulars.

I went to Tsukiko for the first time in a while to eat paella. I took off my shoes and went up to the loft seat for the first time. There was a sofa where I could relax. The paella had a delicious seafood flavor. The rice was soft. We also ordered several skewers and enjoyed escargot and prosciutto. We had a bottle of white wine and were satisfied. It's delicious as always and the atmosphere is nice. Thank you for the meal.

I heard from a gourmet friend that there is a fantastic Spanish bar in Tanuki Koji, so I went there right away. Walking through a small door next to the greengrocer's shop and going up to the second floor, I felt like I had tripped into an unreal world. The atmosphere was cozy and the women working there were very welcoming. It's true that attention to detail is important. For the food, I ordered several recommended dishes and paella. There was also skewers on the menu for some reason, so I couldn't resist ordering them. The blue cheese meatballs were delicious. The balance of texture, aroma, and flavor was exquisite. The garlic shrimp also made me keep reaching for more bread. The moonlight was nice. Next time, I'll aim for a sofa seat on the second floor. Oh, and of course, the paella was even better than at the nearby famous restaurants... Thank you for the meal.

The service from the older sister was excellent. All the dishes were delicious. I want to come back again, but I don't want to tell too many people about it. However, I hope this restaurant becomes popular, so everyone, thank you in advance.

I enjoyed everything deliciously. The chicken liver pate was the best! It goes perfectly with French bread, consider offering it for takeout. ^_^

I was taken to my mother's favorite restaurant in Tanukikoji 7-chome, which is a hidden gem that I never noticed before. It seems to have gained popularity among foreign customers after being featured on an overseas review site. Despite being a hidden gem, it is a popular restaurant that requires reservations. There is no cover charge, and you can enjoy unlimited nuts at your table. The quiet master takes care of the food, while the talkative mama is like a glamorous star! The Jamon Serrano has the perfect amount of saltiness and is absolutely delicious. The mixed seafood dish with shrimp, gizzard, Tokachi mash, and white fish in hot oil is superb and makes you want to drink it all up. The crispy and warm baguette is delightful. The homemade sangria with a hint of sweetness is also pleasing. It's almost time for the last train, but... Oh, you're taking a taxi home? After enjoying 3 or 4 drinks, the bill came out to around 2,600 yen per person. There also seems to be a great value all-you-can-drink course available. Everything is delicious here, and it doesn't seem boring even if you come alone. I understand why you would want to come back again and again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

At 18:00, we waited at the entrance of the restaurant. The entrance was hard to find, with a sign saying it was currently full. It seemed like they were fully booked with reservations. We had ordered a course with all-you-can-drink for 4,000 yen. We started with a toast with red wine. When we all ordered red wine, they brought us a bottle, which was a nice touch. The ham was salty, the liver pate was rich, the garlic shrimp was firm and delicious, the avocado salad was refreshing, the paella rice was a bit soft, the tsukune cheese had a fluffy texture and was tasty. We finished three bottles of red wine. (April 2018) Rating: 3.5

When you open the door next to the greengrocer and climb the stairs, you'll find a mysterious shop called Spain. The female shop assistant, who looks like LiLiCo, exudes a powerful atmosphere that seems like she could start dancing flamenco at any moment. On Saturday at 6 pm, a group of four gathered for a red wine gathering. There were already 2-3 groups of customers. A sign at the entrance door read "Fully booked by reservation today." As the evening went on, the seats gradually filled up. The simple course includes a two-hour all-you-can-drink option for 4000 yen (reservation required). All four of us love red wine, so they left a bottle for us to enjoy. CODICE Codices is a Spanish red wine made from 100% Tempranillo grapes. The course included tapas, Jamon Serrano, chicken liver mousse with baguette salad, lettuce, avocado, and mini tomatoes. The prawns in garlic sauce were delicious! We enjoyed dipping the baguette that came with the chicken liver into the dish. The staff poured wine for us when they brought the dishes, and when the bottle was empty, they replaced it with the same brand. We also tried the giant skewered meatballs with cheese, which were surprisingly delicious. The seafood paella with clams, prawns, and garlic sprouts was tasty, but the rice was softer than expected. It felt more like a risotto than a traditional paella. We spent 2 hours there and paid 4000 yen per person. Apparently, we managed to finish 3 bottles of wine among the four of us! It was a fun evening filled with good conversation, delicious wine, and satisfaction! Although I couldn't make it to the gathering, thanks to the organizer as always!

Located in Tanuki Koji 7-chome, this Spanish bar was always on my radar, but I had always assumed it was just a bar from its exterior. I had a slightly intimidating image of it, but upon researching, it seems like the atmosphere is actually quite approachable. I was in the mood for some wine, so I decided to muster up the courage and step inside. Upon opening the door, I ascended the staircase. The second floor had a counter and a few tables, with a slightly dim lighting and a sophisticated medieval-inspired decor. The staff were friendly, and once inside, it was not intimidating at all. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from paella, pasta, and doria to tapas, meat dishes, and skewers. The prices are reasonable and comforting. I ordered sparkling wine and mixed garlic shrimp for starters. The garlic shrimp included clams, shrimp, and mushrooms, and was surprisingly light and easy to eat for an aioli dish. I wonder if they use high-quality olive oil? I then added red wine and octopus with aioli sauce. The aioli sauce was like a garlic mayonnaise, and paired well with the wine. I look forward to trying the escargot and blue cheese meatballs next time.

It's a fashionable restaurant. They have fresh oysters. I really wanted to try them but I decided not to because there's a cold going around at work. They are big and the meat is firm. I heard they are really delicious. The chicken liver mousse looks like chocolate ice cream. It was delicious. The octopus with aioli sauce and chicken gizzards in garlic oil were also tasty. The seafood paella was full of flavor and delicious. They have a variety of wines and the staff explains them to you. I plan to go back again. It seems like a place where you can go alone. Just open the red door next to the vegetable shop, go up the stairs, and you'll find it.

Date: Friday, May 15, 2015, 11:00 PM - Located in Nishi 7-chome, Minami 3-jo, Chuo-ku, Sapporo. A Spanish bar on Tanukikoji 7-chome with a sign that reads "Tsukiakari" which lights up at night. The store is on the 2nd floor, with a window facing Tanukikoji and a chandelier visible from below. Couples can be seen chatting with smiles on their faces, making it a place that has always caught my attention. Walking west from Odori, you will reach the 6th block. Cross the pedestrian crossing and you'll find "Sumi-ya" on the right and an izakaya on the left, with a grocery store right next to it. The grocery store is open during the day but closed at night. Next to the grocery store is a staircase leading to the 2nd floor. A Bordeaux-colored door at the top of the stairs that slides open instead of pushing. Inside, the space is cozy with a nightlife atmosphere, resembling a snack bar or club. There are counter seats with the owner, female staff, and customers chatting on a Friday night. I was seated at a table by the window. There is a 300 yen charge which includes peanuts as a snack. I had sparkling wine (Cava) and creme brulee as a light visit after dinner and drinks. There is a semi-private area that can be separated by a curtain, as well as a loft with a staircase inside, suitable for about 4 people. The atmosphere is cozy and moody, making it a hidden gem. The menu offers a variety of Spanish dishes such as paella and garlic shrimp.
