The menu was smaller than expected. The prices are reasonable. We ordered Caesar salad, french fries, takoyaki, homemade zangi, and grilled chicken skewers. The salt flavor was strong in some dishes. We couldn't finish the Caesar salad and french fries. The zangi and grilled chicken skewers with green onion were delicious.

Many people who come here tend to order the "meat simmered shabu-shabu". I had to come back because last time I ordered something else and regretted it, so I really wanted to try this dish!
- Meat simmered shabu-shabu: 1980 yen for one serving
The meat is thinly sliced pork, and the broth in the center is light so you can eat as much as you want. Sliced pork is placed on bean sprouts, and you dip vegetables and meat into the broth to eat them together. Mmm, this is delicious! It's light so you can eat a lot. There is absolutely no smell of pork. (Pork can smell bad if the quality is poor) Highly recommended!
By the way, there is a popular restaurant called "Isshin-tei" that serves a similar style dish with beef in an iron pot, which is my favorite. I will write about it next time.
* If the place is not crowded, you can drink endlessly with the all-you-can-drink option. Also, there are no restrictions on food, which is great!

On a holiday evening, I decided to take a stroll around Sapporo Station area and have a drink at "Izakaya Labo Sapporo Ekimae Store". The call-out guy outside mentioned a 30-minute charge of 290 yen (excluding tax), which made me skeptical about hidden charges like a 2-item food requirement or a 500 yen cover charge. However, the guy clarified that there were no food restrictions apart from the cover charge and assured me that it was not a rip-off. I decided to give it a try and entered the restaurant.
Inside, there were a few counter seats and several table seats. I opted for a table seat and ordered a 60-minute all-you-can-drink deal, starting with a beer (Asahi Super Dry). The pricing was not cheap at 30 minutes for 290 yen (excluding tax), but the option to pay per 30 minutes had its advantages.
The menu offered a variety of options including meat hot pot, rice dishes, fried foods, seafood, and desserts. I ordered the "Quail Eggs x 3" and the "Tartar Chicken Nanban @630" along with some potato fries. The drinks were served promptly, and the food followed quickly. The potato fries were crispy and well-seasoned, while the tartar chicken was generously sized and freshly fried, with a unique tartar sauce that added a nice touch.
I tried different drinks like beer, the strongest demon lemon sour, chili highball, and sake (Matsuchiku Bai). The strongest demon lemon sour had a refreshing taste with a hint of spiciness, while the chili highball was a bit too strong for my liking.
As the last order approached, the atmosphere indicated that we needed to finish up soon. Overall, it was a good place for a casual drink and light meal.

Before the banquet, we enjoyed a 30-minute all-you-can-drink session with highballs, beer, and plum wine. Each person had three drinks. Time flew by so quickly! The appetizer was three quail eggs, and the snack was grated yam with wasabi. Even though I was hungry, I resisted the urge to overeat. The bill at the table came out to around 2,500 yen. Thank you for the meal!

[Izakaya Labo Sapporo Station Front Store] #weloveSapporo This was my second stay at Cross Hotel Sapporo, and I didn't feel hungry for dinner at Sapporo Station at all, so I left around 9:30 pm. I couldn't find any places open late in the Sapporo Station area, especially on a Sunday... The izakaya I wanted to go to closed at 11 pm, so I gave up and noticed a sign nearby saying "All-you-can-drink for 30 minutes for 290 yen." I was intrigued by the cheap price, so I entered without high expectations. The concept of the place was quite interesting! I started with the all-you-can-drink option and ordered a beer right away. Ordering was done through a QR code, which I've seen more often lately. Speed was emphasized, and there was always something on the table, which seemed to be part of the concept. I tried to order some food, but was told that "the store is not ready yet." I realized that I hadn't received a wet towel or anything... When the beer and appetizer finally arrived, I stopped a waiter who was about to leave and informed them that I couldn't place an order. Finally, the order was taken, and the food arrived at lightning speed. The neighboring table seemed to be in a rush as well, as they were missing wet towels and chopsticks. Then I noticed something while ordering - the prices on the menu and the prices from the QR code were different?! It wasn't a tax-included or tax-excluded mistake, and the prices varied greatly depending on the menu item. I ordered the following items today:
- Beer (Kirin Ichiban Shibori) - not very cold and not very tasty
- Quail eggs (appetizer) - hard...
- Tartar oyster fry - okay!
- Octopus tempura - average! But a bit less for the price...
- Marinated firefly squid - hmm... indescribably average
- Today's grilled fish - it was mackerel! Overcooked! Average!
And then came the bill... The prices from the QR order and the order sheet were different. A calculation error? They said it was due to the old menu sheet. Also, the time for the all-you-can-drink was different? They corrected it when I pointed it out, but it seemed quite sloppy. The menu sheet turned out to be an old one, they said. The cost performance is good, so if you're willing to overlook these issues, it's a decent place to visit! Oh, and all rooms are private with sunken kotatsu seating. #SapporoIzakaya #FoodPorn #SapporoLunch #SapporoDinner #SusukinoGourmet #HokkaidoGourmet #SapporoGourmet #Sake #Beer

It's been a while since I visited, and Olympic officials or foreign visitors to Japan are enjoying food and drinks cheerfully. The all-you-can-drink system is reliable with transparent billing. It seems they are not as focused on the speed of drink service as before, as drinks are provided at a normal pace. However, the food service is a bit slow, possibly due to the number of customers affecting preparation. I will visit again when I have nowhere else to go! The COVID-19 prevention measures are also well implemented!

Visited on August 1st. Rushed into Manbo in front of the station!! All-you-can-drink as the title suggests. The cover charge is 385 yen. All-you-can-drink for children is 220 yen for 30 minutes including tax. The restaurant is very lively. I'm not sure if it helps prevent infection, but I feel more at ease in a private room. For food orders: - Ramen salad @ 693: A decent portion for one person, with less noodles, a vegetarian option. - Grilled stingray fin @ 429: A favorite of my husband, but he doesn't like it when I eat too much of it. - Rolled omelette with broth @ 495: A bit salty and the texture is a bit off. I prefer both the broth and the omelette to be fluffy. - Salted hormone and vegetable teppanyaki @ 693: This was a big hit. Goes well with alcohol. - Homemade Zangi @ 495: Four small pieces, with a homely feel. - Seafood Yukke don @ 803: A small rice bowl size, my child who doesn't drink alcohol was eating it alone. Ordering via touch panel makes it easy to check history and settle the bill. Drinks are served quickly. That's all for the restaurant introduction (^-^) Now, a little diary entry. The kids wanted to eat yakiniku. They had been out playing since the morning and agreed to meet at the station around the same time. But suddenly, my son started mumbling about not wanting to eat yakiniku today. Probably because he had it for lunch already. So, I quickly changed the plan and brought them to this place nearby. The adults toasted with beer, while my daughter inexplicably chose hot tea. She looked like an old lady (*≧艸≦) Sorry, that was my mistake (˵¯̴͒ꇴ¯̴͒˵) When I asked my son what he wanted to drink next, he said he tries to limit himself to 3-4 drinks in an hour for his health. It made my ears hurt suddenly. When I mentioned that it's not worth it, he said that kind of thinking will ruin his health. All-you-can-drink... meaningless... (•́ω•̀ ٥) The fun time flew by, and we took a taxi home. My son suddenly wanted to run back home because he wanted to get home quickly. I think taking the car would be faster, but apparently, that's not the case as he disappeared into the darkness of the tropical night. Wait. He was just talking about limiting himself for health reasons earlier, but is it okay to drink and run? Seems a bit strange, right? As we headed home, we found him sweating and lying on the sofa. He could star in a Fabreze commercial. Next time, I think I'll challenge myself to see how much I can drink and eat in 30 minutes when I go alone. Thank you for the meal.

After work at the station in January 2021, it's late at night but I have tomorrow off. Is it okay to drink alone quietly? It's casual~ (๑´∀`) Our selling point is all-you-can-drink with 200 types of drinks for 30 minutes at 290 yen! You can even choose the top draft beer (゚Д゚)!! There is a 300 yen cover charge, but there are no restrictions on food, so it's cost-effective for those who just want to drink ( ´∀` )b You manage your own time from the start of the first drink service! There is no last order, but the time is settled at the time of payment, so be careful if you get drunk w Beer ( ゚Д゚)ノ Cold Ichiban Shibori in a medium-sized glass. The appetizer is 3 seasoned quail eggs. You can order by scanning the QR code on your own smartphone for a contactless corona measure. The food is neither expensive nor cheap, so it may be a bit expensive for solo customers. - Octopus Karaage 390 yen The customizable karaage is a specialty, but I ordered the normal octopus karaage. It was crispy and delicious. - Grilled Shishamo 390 yen I saw the frozen grilled shishamo because I was sitting at the counter. It was a bit watery. I stayed for about 60 minutes and had 6 medium-sized glasses, which was decent. The total bill was around 1800 yen including tax. It can be cheaper or more expensive depending on yourself. Make sure to do your research before going. Thank you for the meal! (^ω^)

I was drinking nearby but the all-you-can-drink last order was strictly enforced, so I came to this bright accounting restaurant. It seems crowded even after 10pm, probably because it is a designated Good Time Eatery (GTE) store! I had about 5 lemon highballs in total. The service was quick and consistent. I had a stress-free time. Thank you for the meal! :)

I arrived at Izakaya Lab near the station clock tower in Daito. This place used to be a different restaurant before, but it changed to Izakaya Lab, although it looks almost the same inside. I sit at the same counter where I sat at the previous restaurant. The menu is completely different, of course. I don't plan to stay long, so I'll go for the 30-minute all-you-can-drink for 290 yen! It's a good deal if I can have 2 drinks and leave, right? Haha. Highball, please (*・ω・)ノ It's a speed challenge, so I order right away. Dashimaki Tamago and Special Selected Beef Hormone Spicy Teppanyaki! Oh, the appetizer is quail eggs. Egg overload! Haha. Is it okay to eat too many eggs? Chicken and quail are different, right? Haha. A drink after work is always delicious. It warms me up. First, the quail egg appetizer. It's well-seasoned and delicious. While I'm eating, the dashimaki tamago arrives! It's not too sweet, with a slightly salty dashi flavor, like eating savory egg omelette. It's quite a volume for one person. Not bad. Haskap Sour, please (*゚▽゚)ノ The Special Selected Beef Hormone Spicy Teppanyaki is a bit different from what I imagined. Is it a mistake for pork hormone? That's what the menu says! It tastes good, but it's more like a regular hormone stir-fry. The Haskap Sour is a bit sweet, but it tastes like juice and it's delicious. I finish eating within 30 minutes and it's time to pay. Thank you for the meal!

Located along the street of Nishi 3-chome, Kita 2 Nishi 2 in Sapporo City, on the 2nd floor of a building with yakitori and ramen shops on the 1st floor, there is a wide staircase. They offer a 30-minute all-you-can-drink option for 290 yen, which is quite cheap. As someone who often drinks alone, I find this very convenient. Especially when visiting a new place, I usually don't stay for more than an hour, so the all-you-can-drink option is perfect for me. I started with a Kirin Ichiban beer, which I was happy to see as not many places offer Kirin. The appetizer was seasoned quail eggs. For food, I had deep-fried eggplant and green beans in a thick sauce. The portions were small but the prices were low. For my second drink, I tried a craft beer called "Daydream" from Tap Marche, which had a refreshing yuzu and sansho pepper flavor. Although Tap Marche charges an additional 100 yen per drink, I still enjoyed it. The variety of fried chicken options was impressive, and I chose the octopus one. For my third drink, I had a highball made with Shizuoka's Mikkabi mandarin oranges, which turned out to be a bit too sweet for my taste. They also had a selection of 50 different types of oolong tea highballs. The bar offered a wide range of alcoholic beverages to suit different preferences, including shochu, sweet potato shochu, barley shochu, vodka, and gin. Although I didn't try them all, it was nice to see the variety available. I spent about 40 minutes there, and overall, it was a nice place for a casual drink.

The former Chikuzen-ya site, which was closed with regret, has been taken over by Izakaya Labo. They offer all-you-can-drink beer for 30 minutes for only 290 yen, and it's a new type of popular spot. I was looking to kill time for about an hour, so it was the perfect place. The service was quick and efficient. I ended up staying for about 3 hours instead of going to another restaurant. Thank you for the great experience!

There seems to be a new restaurant opening in the place where there used to be a tavern called "Kaitaku-ya". Let's go check it out. It seems like they offer cheap all-you-can-drink. As soon as the store opens, let's attack! The entrance is on the left side after going up the stairs. It feels like the previous restaurant is still there. I sit at the end of the counter and start drinking alone. It seems like there is no time limit for the all-you-can-drink. Let's start with a beer... It looks like the time starts once it is brought to you. That's considerate. However, it took five minutes from ordering the beer to it being served. Even though there are no other customers, I wonder what happened. Along with the beer, they give you a note with the start time. The beer could have been a bit colder... The appetizer was quail eggs. I hesitate on what snack to order, but I decide to try the recommended fried eggplant with ginger sauce and go for the classic french fries after a long time. The system here seems to be well thought out, but the snacks are not cheap. Well, they have to balance it out since they offer all-you-can-drink at such a low price. That's why the snacks are a bit pricey, I understand that now. The fried eggplant with ginger sauce was small. It was different from the photo. It was light and delicious, so it was a hit. The french fries were typical of an izakaya. They were slender, not fluffy, which goes well with beer. I also added edamame, which I think was a hit. In the end, I had three beers and three snacks in 50 minutes. The bill was around 2,200 yen. If you have a day where you want to drink a lot, you might come here. That's how I feel.

I'm sorry, I mistakenly posted this review in the wrong place. I visited the restaurant around 17:15 after work. I started with a beer and some quail eggs as a snack. For appetizers, I ordered fried chicken gizzards and edamame. I had another beer for my second drink, as well as an Ishigaki Island pineapple highball. The staff were attentive in taking our drink orders. Everything was delicious, and I started to feel a little tipsy.
