A small oden restaurant located in an area without any similar drinking establishments. It is situated across from the bicycle parking lot next to Aeon with oden lanterns as a sign. The customers are mostly regulars. The owner is a friendly and kind fatherly figure who occasionally strikes up conversations and makes the visit enjoyable. The oden has a rich and light broth, and is delicious, perfect to accompany drinks. It was a great place for a relaxing second round.

So, there was a sake event somewhere in Kotoni, and it was said that Mairevi-san would participate in it. Since I came all the way to Kotoni, the guy insisted that I join the after-party too, haha. He never comes when I invite him, saying Kotoni is too far, but oh well. So, I set up this place for sake lovers. I don't really like sake, but for some reason I drink it here, haha. The sake I had this time was "Lion's Village" from Ishikawa Prefecture, a super dry junmai sake. It's a slightly acidic and refreshing type of sake with a hint of sweetness at the back of the tongue. I can't tell if it's good or not (;^_^A The oden had shiitake mushrooms, shirataki noodles, daikon radish, and meatballs, I think? I really like the oden here. Everything is quite large, especially the shiitake mushrooms that shiitake lovers would go crazy for. The tamago (egg) we ordered later was half-cooked. I don't know how it's considered half-cooked, but it is. And yet, the broth is thoroughly infused. The oden here is delicious. The owner's character here is also quite something, haha.

Today's drinking spot was in Konoe, where I am not familiar with the area. The first place we visited was a fun sake bar, but now we are wondering where to go next. We invited a big drinker to join us, and they suggested waiting at an oden restaurant. So, our second stop for the day is at Denraku. The place has a counter with 9 seats and two 4-person tables. We arrived around 9:30 PM, with 2 customers already there and 1 customer arriving after us. We ordered classic beer, which the owner assured us was delicious, and indeed it was well-maintained and tasty. We ordered our favorite oden dishes, including:
- Half-boiled egg: a rare find in oden, with a creamy texture and rich flavor.
- Daikon radish with tororo kombu: a classic oden dish with a flavorful broth.
- Whole carrot: cooked in a delicate broth that preserves the natural sweetness of the carrot.
- Squid meatball: a tender and flavorful meatball with a hint of squid.
- Tsukune: lightly fried before being added to the oden, giving it a unique texture.
- Cabbage roll: a satisfying dish with a sweet cabbage and a hearty filling.
We said goodbye to one of our companions and decided to order more dishes, including:
- Chicken and burdock: a delicious meatball with burdock inside.
- Grilled hanpen: lightly seared and then simmered to perfection.
- Large ganko: a generous portion of ganko that bursts with flavor.
- Chicken wing: tender and juicy, cooked to perfection.
- Shimeji mushroom: a unique addition to oden, retaining its texture and flavor.
We also had a glass of Bihari no Choshu sake, which was tangy and refreshing. The owner of the restaurant takes pride in the different cooking methods for each oden ingredient, ensuring the best flavor for each. The place seems popular with regulars, but even first-time visitors are warmly welcomed by the owner. It's a place where you can enjoy a leisurely drink and savor the delicious oden dishes. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

Recently, I've been drinking a lot in Kotoni. I know the reason. It's all because of impure motives of Totron (〃▽〃). But it didn't stop there, as Kotoni's second daughter keeps calling me whenever she's free (^^ゞ Well, it's fine because I have free time anyway. This time, she requested Japanese sake, so I chose this place♪ I really like the oden here♪ I tried eating carrots for the first time this time. It's much tastier than I thought. As for the Japanese sake, I managed to drink two types (^^ゞ I was done after these two cups (laughs). Feeling a bit tipsy, I headed towards Kirakuya (^艸^)ウププ

It's been a while since my last visit! I had some not so great yakiniku in Nishimachi and thought I can't leave like this (laughs). I had originally planned to go to a yakiniku restaurant in Kotoni, but I remembered this place and decided to stop by because it's the season for oden. This time, I had oden and beginner-friendly sake "Katashuna". Sipping away. Oh, it's delicious (〃▽〃) I mainly enjoyed daikon and shirataki in the oden. It's a delicious oden with a flavorful kombu and bonito broth. That's it for now! See you again (^^♪

Actually, I'm not a fan of sake and shochu. I was brought here by a regular customer. It's a traditional oden restaurant, but I just can't seem to enjoy beer here. The regular customer is enjoying oden with the recommended sake by the owner. Watching them, I felt like even if I just take small sips, sake might suit me too. So, I timidly ordered the recommended sake and tried it. It was delicious! I don't remember the name, but I recall it was a rare sake used in the movie "Kakuko no Sake". I started to drink sake recommended by the owner whenever I come to this place. Oh, there are no pictures of oden, but I usually have daikon, shirataki, and chikuwa as my main choices. I'll post a picture of oden next time.

It is located on Nijuyonken Street heading towards Miyanosawa, just diagonally across from the Daiei Kotoni store, next to an Italian restaurant. It is a quiet oden restaurant with many regular customers as it is not a place frequented by young people. The interior is small with a counter and two tables. In front of the counter, there is a large oden space where various oden items are simmering. The charcoal-grilled local chicken is recommended, so we decided to share it. The oden broth is light yet flavorful, and the ingredients are all tender. The daikon radish and chicken wings are so soft that they fall apart when touched with chopsticks, showing the care put into them. The yakitori skewers are large, well-seasoned with salt, and juicy. The pork is also carefully selected, with sweet fat. The local chicken is finely chopped for easy eating, juicy, thick, and absolutely delicious. The homemade pickles are served as a variety, with the option to choose the ones that have fully absorbed the flavors. Some may be salty, but the unexpected choices show the attention to detail. On this day, we tried the garlic pickles, which had a great aroma. In this day and age, there are few places that make their own pickles, so places like this are truly valuable.
