We visited this restaurant around 9 pm the day before. Every time we passed by the front of the store, we were intrigued by how beautiful and delicious it looked, yet there were hardly any people inside. Curious, we decided to stop by. The cozy interior with a large stove and clean, simple seating arrangements left a strong impression on us. The owner was running the place alone, so the serving time seemed to vary depending on the pace of the owner and how busy it was. We recommend making a reservation in advance if you plan on going with a large group. The menu displayed outside offered courses starting from 3000 yen, so we decided to try one. The course included kimchi, salted cabbage, grilled vegetables, three types of lamb meat, noodles for the finale, and vanilla ice cream. Since we wanted more meat, we added lamb chops as an extra. The course lived up to its name, with the meat portions being on the lighter side. If you're looking for a hearty meal, we recommend ordering individual dishes or opting for a higher-priced course. The kimchi and salted cabbage, which served as the appetizers, were both flavorful and recommended with a side of rice. The vegetables were simple and served on the Genghis Khan pot, accompanied by a special dipping sauce that was mildly sweet and not overpowering. First, we tried the lamb shoulder loin, which was recommended to be cooked rare. The thick loin was tender and delicious, lacking any gamey taste. Next, we grilled the lamb rump, which cooked quickly due to its thinness. It was delightful when paired with the recommended salt. The lamb tongue was also tender, and the salted green onions complemented it well. Lastly, the lamb chops we ordered extra were absolutely delicious! They were rich in fat, tender, and had just the right amount of gaminess, making them a must-try for lamb lovers. The noodle finale was a yellow ramen served in a dipping style, with a broth made by diluting the meat dipping sauce with dashi. It was light and easy to finish even when we were full. The vanilla ice cream was a refreshing way to end the meal. With the course, drinks, extra lamb chops, and rice, the total came to around 4000 yen per person. We felt that ordering individual dishes might be a better option. We didn't get to try the pot-pickled Genghis Khan this time, so we're looking forward to trying it along with the lamb chops and seafood next time! Thank you for the delicious meal! We'll definitely be back!
