When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, especially for this designated rare disease. Unfortunately, there is still no medicine that suits my rare disease. I was hospitalized for rare disease treatment in September last year, and again in January, April to May this year, and now in September. The supportive comments from everyone were a source of energy for me during my hospitalization. I sincerely appreciate it. I was discharged temporarily 11 days ago. After this week's examination, I made a reservation for my fourth hospitalization this year. Once I receive the hospitalization notice from the ward, I will be admitted. Originally, the schedule for readmission was supposed to be decided last week, but multiple medical examinations were required. As a result, it was necessary to be hospitalized in a different department first. Due to the side effects of the medication, I am undergoing examinations in multiple departments, but the main treatment cannot be started until the symptoms are under control. Following the treatment in another department, I will be admitted for the main treatment again. Due to the preparations for the fourth and fifth hospitalizations this year, the reviews are still limited. Although I have been discharged, it is unfortunately difficult to reply to comments or messages. I will make sure to respond after discharge, even if it's delayed. I will try to give likes as much as possible even during hospitalization. Thank you for your continued support. "Sapporo Buta Kenkyujo" is a shop inspired by Jiro-style ramen. It opened on September 1, 2021. After being discharged, I visited for lunch with my usual companion for the first time. This shop is located along Mizuyuji Street in the Nishioka area of Toyohira Ward, Sapporo. Please check the exact location on Tabelog. It was a visit before 11:30 am on a weekday. The shop has about six seats at the counter. There were already a few customers waiting. After a short wait, we were able to enter the shop. Upon entering the shop, there was a ticket machine in front. I ordered the "Kamui Buta Sho Shoyu for 840 yen." My usual companion also ordered the "Kamui Buta Sho Shoyu for 840 yen." While waiting inside the shop, a staff member came to take our order. I ordered with "extra vegetables, garlic, fat, and spicy" while my usual companion ordered with "normal vegetables, less garlic, no fat, and extra spicy." After waiting for 24 minutes since entering the shop, our two "Kamui Buta Sho Shoyu" dishes arrived. - Kamui Buta Sho Shoyu Ramen Noodle Amount: 200g The noodles were chewy and slightly thick, with a satisfying texture. The soup, with extra caramel and spice, was moderately salty. The large amount of vegetables released moisture, balancing the saltiness. The seasoning of the pork fat and soy sauce soup was excellent. The pork slices were thick and the roll chashu was generous. The dish included plenty of vegetables, bean sprouts, cabbage, garlic, and fat. Price: 840 yen (tax included) The "Kamui Buta Sho Shoyu" with all extras was a mountainous bowl of ramen. It was easy to eat, and I was able to finish it completely. I also helped my usual companion finish their dish. Despite feeling extremely full, we managed to finish the meal. There is also a student discount ramen, so there were many young customers. The service was quite slow, perhaps due to the unfamiliarity with this type of ramen. I recommend visiting during early hours. I give it a little bonus rating of 4.0 stars. Next time, I might go for the "Kamui Buta Sho Shoyu with extra vegetables, garlic, fat, and spicy" again. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

Visited Kamui no Buta on August 2023 and ordered the Shoyu Ramen with small size, 2 slices of chashu, and 200g of noodles. The location is in Nishioka district, accessible only by bus. The ramen had a thick and sweet broth with slightly spicy flavor, topped with tender chashu and crispy vegetables. The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing customization of the order. Overall, a satisfying experience and I look forward to trying their miso ramen in the future.

It is located across from Zadaio. Due to its location, it seems to attract many student customers. I ordered without any extra toppings. The chashu slices were thick, and just eating them alone made me full. I struggled to finish the noodles and toppings, but I couldn't really drink the soup. Maybe for students, it's easy to finish, but it was a challenge for me.

The pork ramen at Kamui was delicious, with options for 200g and 300g of noodles clearly indicated. The variety of toppings was nice, and the vegetables were crunchy while the noodles were chewy. The soup had a good balance of flavors and the chashu had different textures. I struggled towards the end due to the richness of the chashu, but overall it was tasty. I plan to try the Abura Tamanegi Ramen next time.

Visited Kamui when they had a pop-up at Tobu Funabashi for the second time. Learned from last time and ordered a small portion of the pork ramen with less vegetables. The small size comes with 200g of noodles, which was just enough for me to finish. The huge chashu was still delicious, but slightly dry compared to last time. The soup was quite creamy this time, rich, sweet, and full of flavor. However, there was an excessive amount of fat floating on the surface, about 1cm thick. Regret not asking for less fat.

(Tobu Department Store Funabashi Store Various Ramen Journey Part 15 July 7th - August 29th) Kamui no Buta (Soy Sauce, Small, 2 Slices of Chashu) 880 yen * Garlic light, extra vegetables and pork (1 extra slice of Kamui Chashu) 120 yen Arrived 10 minutes before opening to secure a spot. It was pouring rain outside, but inside Tobu Funabashi Store, we were able to wait comfortably without worrying about the rain. With the chime, the 7th floor food and beverage stores all opened at once. Interestingly, the second person in line was an elderly woman, and the third was an older couple, which is rare for a Jiro-inspired ramen shop (they also have regular menus from Menya Kobako). Purchased a meal ticket from the ticket machine inside the store and was told to sit wherever I liked. I chose a table near the front. When I handed the meal ticket to the staff, they immediately prepared the order. They do not offer extra toppings, so I ordered light garlic, extra vegetables, and extra pork fat. After about 10 minutes, a large bowl of Jiro-inspired ramen was served. Despite the low altitude, the large bowl made the ramen very voluminous. Usually, I would flip the bowl upside down, but this time, I could easily salvage the noodles from the bottom of the bowl. First, I mixed the noodles with the pork fat. The straight, thick noodles had a great texture and were very delicious. The soup was a bit strong, but with the added moisture from the extra vegetables, it had just the right flavor. The fist-sized chashu came with 2 default slices and an extra slice of pork fat, totaling 3 slices. They were about 1.5cm thick, tender, and absolutely delicious. However, as an older man who ordered extra pork fat, I found them a bit fatty. The vegetables consisted of about 8 bean sprouts and 2 cabbage leaves, a decent amount. I left half of the non-emulsified soup, but managed to finish the meal.

It was salty. I ordered the Kamui pork ramen in small size as it is. First, I tried the soup, but it was salty even after mixing in more vegetables and diluting it. The toppings were mostly vegetables... Maybe it would be just right in terms of saltiness when eaten with all those vegetables. The thick-cut chashu was so salty and garlicky that my taste buds went numb and couldn't taste the flavor... Thank you for the meal.

On a certain weekday, lunch at Itsuka Wa in Nishioka 4-jo, Toyohira-ku has finally arrived today. It is a ramen shop that is probably considered to be part of the Jiro-style ramen. The lack of parking is a major drawback and requires a lot of thinking. The interior of the shop consists of only a counter, with waiting chairs and refrigerators on one side. I deliberately chose a less crowded time slot, so it was not busy, which personally was helpful. The background music playing is nostalgic Western music and Japanese pop songs. On this day, instead of ordering the recommended Camui pork from the ticket vending machine, I made a strange decision and ordered the limited "Camui beef horumon (1000 yen)". I handed over the order for extra oil and garlic to the waiter and waited quietly. Let's take a bite... Oh, it's quite spicy. The noodles are thick, suitable for Jiro-style ramen, with a chewy texture that doesn't seem to stretch even if left for a long time. The red-colored soup seems to have animal ingredients as the main base, and there is a certain level of spiciness. It's more miso-flavored than I expected, with a noticeable high saltiness as a distinctive feature. Unfortunately, I found that just the soup clinging to the noodles was enough for me. The toppings include round-shaped meat, which I think is pork belly, about 10 pieces, which would have been more enjoyable if they were a bit younger. There is also leek, minced and grated garlic, egg yolk, a little cabbage, and seasoned oil on top of boiled bean sprouts. Normally, you would expect the soup to become richer by melting the toppings in it, but in this case, the base flavor is already strong, so the taste remains the same even with the egg yolk. It occurred to me that the lack of parking is a significant drawback for car drivers and the saltiness of the ramen soup is a bit harsh, making me wonder if this shop is specifically for university students across the street. Thank you for the meal.

Inspired by Jiro-style ramen, the collaboration between Kohaku and Koichiro, Kamui's pork was slightly firm, with normal garlic and plenty of vegetables. The oil was on the lighter side even with extra, and the vegetables consisted only of bean sprouts. The oil was probably better with extra. The garlic was just right, not too strong. I prefer some garlic, but not overpowering. The chashu was okay, but not as good as in Sapporo Jiro.

End-of-year first meal was at Jiro-inspired Sapporo Buta Kenkyujo, seating 6, with a wait time of 3. Ordered the "Kamui no Buta" with small portion (200g) of pork, no garlic, extra vegetables, less fat, non-emulsified soup, thick noodles with extra water, and a clean type of broth. As expected from a pork research facility, the pork was delicious, but Sapporo Jiro's version is tastier. It's hard to come here often, but if given the chance, I would like to visit again.

This shop opened along the Mizuyuji Street in September 2021. I had been curious about this type of ramen and suddenly felt like eating it. There seems to be no parking lot. I entered the store and purchased a meal ticket at the vending machine. I ordered the Kamui pork small with 200g of noodles. I asked for extra garlic. It took less than 10 minutes until it was served. I started eating right away, but in my experience, this type of ramen is often not very hot. However, the soup was hot here. But from the first bite, I didn't feel much umami or richness, and the soy sauce flavor was strong and quite salty! Even with the thick noodles, I couldn't neutralize the saltiness, so I asked for rice halfway through, but it didn't help, and I couldn't finish my chopsticks.

I came to the research institute which opened based on Twitter. There is no parking lot, so be careful. There were 10 people waiting to enter and only 6 seats inside due to COVID-19 prevention measures. Today, I ordered the Kamui Pork Ramen with an extra slice of chashu, and added vegetables, extra fat, and garlic when ordering. It only took about 5 minutes from seating to serving, very smooth. The vegetables were a bit sparse, but okay. The oil was well mixed with the soup, making it tasty when combined with the vegetables. The soup follows the Jiro-style thick soy sauce base that goes well with the thick noodles. It's a bit salty, but probably goes well with rice. The chashu was juicy and flavorful, easily falling apart in the mouth when soaked in the soup. The soy sauce flavor in the soup was a bit strong. Despite that, I finished it in no time. This place is a good value for students as it is located near a university. However, it might be a bit challenging for those coming by car. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today I went to a ramen shop that just opened. I didn't realize they had a pre-opening on 8/30 and 8/31, otherwise I could have avoided waiting in line. I arrived at 11:15 and there were already about 18 people waiting outside. It seems like a lot of students were there. There is another ramen shop in the east district, but it's a chain store and I don't like it, plus there are strange people living there, so I decided to try this new one first. By 11:30, some people who had finished eating started leaving. I finally got a seat around 12:30. I ordered the "Kamui Pork Shoyu Ramen" with extra garlic and vegetables, less oil, soft noodles, and added an extra slice of chashu for 120 yen. It wasn't cheap, so I wondered why there was such a long line. Later I found out they were giving out souvenirs to the first 30 customers, that's why there was a line. I just paid for my meal like normal. The result? The garlic was too spicy, it made me cough when I slurped the noodles. It felt like I was chewing raw garlic with soy sauce. The taste was just salty. The chashu was good, but a bit too flavorful, it would probably go well with rice. After eating, I bought some ice cream to try to get rid of the numbness in my mouth, but it lasted for over two hours.

"The pork ramen at Sapporo Buta Kenkyujo is only available with extra garlic. I wish they had an option for extra vegetables too. Since there is no parking lot, it's not a convenient place for me as I always have to drive. Thank you for the meal. #EverydayRamen"

At the Tobu Department Store in Funabashi, the 15th installment of the popular "Ramen Journey Around the World" event is currently taking place. This is personally my 31st ramen adventure in Funabashi (6 of which were at events). I tried the Kamui's Child Pork Ramen with garlic for 830 yen (tax included), 5 Ezoshika (Hokkaido deer) dumplings for 600 yen (tax included), Abura Tamane Giro (fried green onions) for 120 yen (tax included), and rice for 100 yen (tax included). The noodles were firm but flavorful, distinct from Jiro-style ramen. I actually prefer this one. The soy sauce base is rich but the fat makes it smooth. It may be heavy the next day, but adding garlic really enhances the depth of the soup. The dumplings have a unique flavor, but once you get used to it with a well-traveled palate, they are quite delicious. I topped the rice with Abura Tamane Giro, adding a rich umami flavor. The crunchy texture of the green onions is a nice touch. If you get tired, adding a little soup can boost the flavor. Surprisingly, on the first day, all the customers were women, and all dining alone. And they all added garlic! I thought it was some kind of monitoring program, but it seems everyone just knows that garlic makes it tastier. It was a needless worry. Thank you for the meal!
